I don't change my own oil, that's why God made Jiffy Lube. I had the pleasure of meeting Roy & Roosevelt during my visit to Jiffy Lube! Roosevelt (by far the best name I've ever encountered while fixing my car) greeted me with a smile as I pulled up and waited for the attendant to check me in. Roy was my attendant/cashier and gave me the rundown on how much my service would cost, as well as what services are coming up in the near future. I liked that he didn't try to sell me unnecessary upgrades and answered any questions I had about the necessity of getting certain things cleaned or changed out. I'd have to say the worst thing about this Jiffy Lube is the waiting area because well, it's Jiffy Lube after all. It's a small office with a few worn out chairs, newspapers, magazines and a TV. My two older children were with me during my visit and were happily preoccupied by Phineas & Ferb on the Disney Channel. Mission accomplished Jiffy Lube! I got my oil changed, tires rotated, and air filter changed in less than 30 minutes, which was about as close to a miracle as I've experienced all week! I went to this Jiffy Lube because of all the great reviews on Yelp. Basically, I didn't make an appointment, and I wanted a quick oil change. This Jiffy Lube is off of Punchbowl literally right before the freeway entrance on your righthand side. I'm guessing it's not very crowded because it's so hidden. I arrived almost when it opened on a saturday morning. I was the second car in, and my change took less than 10 minutes to complete. So, in that regard, yes this place is amazing. I don't think I ever got out of the Mililani Goodyear in less than an hour. However, when I provided them my Jiffy Lube rewards card, they told me they don't accept it solely because they've never seen it before. At least you could try to find out for me instead of just turning it away. Secondly, I had to go back to a shop earlier than usual because my maintenance light popped up. Apparently, they left a cap loose and it came off, as I was losing coolant. Quality beats jiffy-ness for me. read more

I have gotten my SUV serviced here for years and until today's experience would have given Jiffy Lube Punchbowl five stars as has always been my experience. But today's experience... Damn... It was horrible. Six guys on the job only two vehicles ahead of mine when I checked in and it took ONE HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES to get my keys back. Today's experience was disappointing at best. My vehicle was next in line after the two already in their service bays yet another car was being serviced ahead of me, after arriving AFTER me. But didn't say anything... Maybe the dude had an appointment. My car was completed in one hour, fifteen minutes after the estimated forty-five. It was parked in the staging area that customers usually pick up their cars after payment. It stayed there without comment from their staff about its progress or condition for twenty minutes, all the while ushering new customers in. I felt ignored and not valued as a customer. Then when my name is called, I approach the counter and am immediately read the list of items that were provided without any recognition if the amount of time I had spent sitting there, waiting. When I pass my card for payment, there is a delay, and then a delay. The manager, Roy O. barely acknowledged that I was even there and started making calls somewhere to who knows who, because he didn't tell me for five minutes. Another five minutes pass, and I am through. I was actually through thirty minutes prior. I will not be coming back to this Jiffy Lube again. read more

I have been coming to Jiffy Lube Punchbowl (#1325) for years, and initially they were fantastic! There has been a recent change in workers here, and it hasn't been for the better. This morning I was greeted with "Have you been here before?!". Then, while waiting in the lobby was subjected to a staff member discussing (complaining) politics (his disdain for Obama) with a random customer! I don't care what your political leanings are, you don't go there with customers, period. I did come in a couple of months ago and was greeted by this same employee, with the same woe is me, poor attitude. They also look very sloppy and unkept - which makes me wonder just how thorough they are with the work that they are doing. I totally lapsed on when my safety was due so I made an urgent call to Jiffy Lube last Friday to see if they could fit me in that afternoon. Sure, no problem they said. Showed up to the location, which is right around the corner from my office, about 20 min early. I checked in, and they were able to take me before my scheduled appointment. I waited about 20 minutes and was done. Passed with flying colors!! Just as you leave Queen's Hospital and are crossing Vineyard toward H1 West, before you go under the tunnel and lanes merge.... there on the immediate right is your engine's savior. Jiffy Lube. I use to go and pay a LOT more at the Waipahu Toyota dealer for an oil change and wait hours for it to get done. No more. I ordered the fully Synthetic oil and filter for under $100. It took under 30 minutes and we were on our way happy that we not only had fully Synthetic oil, a new filter, but they checked the air filter to the A/C and it was black. Toyota NEVER checked that. Even when I asked them to. I replaced it all and received a new oil plug gasket. All this care, a cleaned car... first time a vacuum was done since buying this 2010 RAV4. They are a complete service station, very reasonablely priced establishment, and FAST!! We were back on the highway in no time at all. I STRONGLY recommend them. 5-Stars all-the-way. I hope I have enlightened you to this gem of a find and you'll no longer wait at the dealership for hours and hours for LESS service. This was my first time getting my safety check done at Jiffy Lube. I was expecting a long wait and mediocre service like the place I usually go to, I won't mention any names.. Wrong! Never assume anything! Best safety check ever. As soon as I pulled in an employee opened my door for me and asked me what I services I needed. Just a safety check. Details were explained to me and I was even told how much every thing would cost. Less than $30 for a safety check, yes please. Signed my name, car was taken in, and I was escorted to the waiting room. The door was opened for me again! what?! Better service than some restaurants. 10-15 minutes later my car was done. Without fail, I always do my safety check and oil change last-minute. Why? I have no idea. But Jiffy Lube is always there to save me! No appointment needed! I love my Servco, but they're busy Saturdays for literally months in advance. Jiffy Lube has never let me down. The staff there are knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. Punchbowl Jiffy Lube, you make my life so easy. I wish you could do all of my car service and repairs so that I wouldn't need to go anyplace else--ever. You have always been super fast, friendly, helpful, honest, and reasonably priced. You explain what's recommended up front and never pressure me to buy anything I don't need. You have all my records in the computer so I don't need to remember what kind of oil change package I got last time or when I last had my radiator flushed. I never have to wait to see you, and I don't need an appointment. You're open 7:00am-6:00pm Monday - Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm Saturdays, and 8:00am-4:00pm Sundays, so I never have any problem finding a time to come in and see you. My car is always as clean or cleaner than I left it, and I don't have to worry about the controls being all messed up, the radio blaring when I turn the engine over, or finding a mess in my ashtray. You give me a decent place to sit, inside or out, offer me coffee, TV, reading materials, even a bathroom while I wait. When it's time to check out, you explain what you did, go through a multi-point checklist, and after payment, you stamp my rewards card so I'll get a discount on a future visit. I recently moved from CA and wasn't sure where to go for oil changes for my Acura. After calling about 5 places, I was starting to get REALLY disheartened (one place wanted to charge me $100 for just a conventional oil change once I told them my car make/model) To make things worse, my car was guilttripping me and counting each mile I drove over the service due date. I came here on a Friday morning but didn't have an appointment. I was told the wait time would be about 45 minutes until they could get to my car because they were understaffed that morning. I contemplated driving to another location to get my oil change but figured I would probably have to wait just as long at another place since I didn't have an appointment at all. I decided to stay, got my car an oil change, and it was done in about an hour. Service was not bad, and they even vacuumed my car and filled up the wiper fluid since it was completely out. Best visit I've ever had at an auto care location. I usually go to the Aiea location, however, seeing that their line was about 5 cars deep, each line, I decided to try my chances at the Punchbowl location. I am do glad that I did!! I got there at about 945a...waited all but 4 seconds for service and while they had 2 cars ahead of me, they took my car immediately and I waited only 25 minutes for an oil change and safety inspection. Last minute oil change! The wait at Sears was going to take too long. They are located at the very corner of Punchbowl and Lusitania, it looked like we were about to merge onto the H1 when Jiffy Lube appeared on the corner! There was no wait when we arrived. 5 star review mainly for the way they went out of their way to help me. I got my safety inspection done here. It was fairly quick, and they told me what needed to be repaired. I got the repairs done elsewhere and came back. Within minutes I had my temporary safety inspection pass to take to city hall so I could register my car. I got my plates and came back for the permanent sticker. Then the fun began. My old MI license plate did not want to come off. The screws had rusted over really badly. In attempting to take off the screws, the screw heads came off without the rest of the screw. Basically the crew spent a good 2+ hrs getting the old screws out and putting new ones in. And I finally had my new plate on. Why the 5 stars when it took so long? The staff was always friendly and courteous despite the fact that it was clearly frustrating. There was also no additional charge for all of that work. They also have a nice air conditioned area to wait in that's small, but the station is also small. Kudos crew to helping make my move here easier :D. read more

Great service all around! I had an hour for lunch and dropped off my car for an oil change. I asked about a funny sound it had been making on and off and the report called for a transmission repair. They were able to do all of this and called me while I was still eating lunch to let me know they were finished. The lady at the front pointed me to some coupons that helped me save another $30-45. This is my 3rd visit. They are helpful, quick and friendly every time and you can tell it's important to them that the customer has a good visit. They make the troubles of car care less monotonous. After I moved, I still needed to complete the license plate conversion. What a freakin production for people that ship their outta state cars here. First, there's a 'safety checklist' that you pay a shop like JLube to complete. Then you take a copy of that to the quasi-DMV, where you pay a fee & get your plates. Then you return to the place of the safety check to have them do some more random checking & ensure that you put both plates on the front/rear of your car before they affix a sticker to the rear bumper. Honestly, that's just too much crap to do especially when you have to work but I will say that I appreciated that JLube was quick & only charged $14 for the safety check. read more
