Came here the morning of December 6th. Contents and parts of glove box were dumped on floorboard, when I pointed this out to the manager, his response was to shrug his shoulders and say "oh". Plastic knob that holds glove box in place laying in floor board with the discarded contents of glove box as well ( cabin air filter is behind glove box). Also, it says in the paper work that they cleaned the outside of my auto glass . This was not done. They also forgot to give me my reminder sticker. This place has demonstrably declined in the quality of service that is being provided. I will be finding a new spot to get my car services from now on. read more

I went with the intention of getting nothing higher than the synthetic blend and they would not allow me to get anything less than the highest, full synthetic oil change that doubled the price I wanted to pay. Would've given less than 3 stars, but I do enjoy the free car wash they offer and they gave me 20$ off even though I did not know about the coupon they were offering. Still ended up being over 100$. IRVINE RESIDENTS, DO NOT GO HERE. Worst experience. Workers and whoever manages this place will mess up your car and expressively will not be happy if you use coupon for discount. Let me tell you why: 1. I asked if discount coupon applied they said yes, and towards the end the same person still tried to charge me full price. I reminded him and expressed that he wasn't happy that I'm applying a coupon in front of other customers. 2. They forgot to put back a valve cap back to one my tires so I ended up having to fix my tire because it got flat. I will never go back to this location again and tell everyone I know to avoid this place. I'll make sure to write to corporate and send someone over there to inspect your customer service and standard operations. Irvine is a great city, fix yourself. read more

If rating is only for efficiency: 5 stars However, the unnecessary air filters (cabin & engine) replacement recommendation gave me reasonable doubts with their integrity... First thing the technician did was to remove both air filters and show them to me as if they need to be replaced. My truck is less than 1 year old... the filters did not look badly clogged. If I didn't know better, I would have assumed that the reason why they show me the items is because they need to be replaced... For ill informed motorists, unnecessary replacements will add extra costs to maintenance services. This is my 2nd oil change here and will be my last. For me, I need to trust the integrity of my mechanics. The speed of service & a free car wash will not be enough to ignore the integrity of their recommendations. read more

Even vacuumed my car which was desperately needed. The waiting area was clean and spacey. They offered coffee and a free car wash next door. Lastly, they top off fluids after your visit. The battery of my car died out of the blue on the next block. Noticing there were some car repair locations on that block I walked over to Jiffy Lube to see if they sell batteries, which indeed they do. However, my car was one block away and I have no jumper cables. Fortunately and thankfully, Angel from Jiffy Lube offered to help me and jump start my car. He drove me to the parking lot where my car stalled. It took about 10 minutes for my car to start and he patiently waited. Drove back to his shop and bought one of their batteries. All of the other attendants were very helpful and made the whole process easy. Thank you Angel and his team for such first class customer service. read more

The manager, Ruben, was telling me that my $50 off coupon for a $300 service and above wasn't valid since a repair wasn't a "service". I was told over the phone that they would honor this coupon and he tried to fight me on it, only for the assistant manager to come in and verify that my coupon was valid and they honored it, but I wouldn't have gotten it if I didn't fight it. It's unfortunate because the mechanics did a great job, but the manager was awful. If you need jiffy lube's services, go to another local one, not this one. read more

REALLY disappointed in this place!! I've been taking my car here for years and after my experience on Saturday NEVER again! I brought my car in for an oil change and they tested my car battery and told me it was bad and needed to be replaced. They even gave me the print out of the test slip. I know that my battery is under warranty cause it only been a little over 2 years since I got a new one so I did NOT let them sell me a battery like they wanted to and I took it back to Pep boys where my battery is from. They tested it and it is COMPLETELY fine!! Pep boys explained that Jiffy lubes test was inaccurate and Jiffy Lube said my car should be testing in number that aren't even possible for my battery. I am very disappointed in their dishonesty and glad I didn't fall for their lies. I feel bad because there was another girl in there and I overheard them say the EXACT same testing numbers to her and she actually bought the battery. Seemed odd that we would test the exact same and both "need a new battery" Get a second opinion on ANYTHING other than an oil change here!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I took my BMW X5 here for an oil change in early May. I then drove home to Fairfield and parked my car in the garage, as I always do. A few days later, I noticed that there was a huge puddle of oil under my car. I assumed the guys at Jiffy Lube did not tighten the cap after changing the oil, so I took my car back to Jiffy Lube (this time in Fairfield) to get it fixed. At the second Jiffy Lube, I was told that the cap was tightened securely and the oil leak was because my oil gasket was broken. I knew this was not the problem since the car was new. I took the car to an independent mechanic and was told the reason for the leak was exactly what I suspected. He tightened the cap and cleaned the bottom of the car. Now the car is fine. In summary, Jiffy Lube did not do a proper job in changing my oil and they were not able to diagnose their own mistake the second time around. These guys don't know anything about cars. This hassle cost me hundreds of dollars and wasted a great deal of my time to clean my garage and get this all sorted through an independent mechanic Moral of the story: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO JIFFY LUBE! read more

Turns out i was given a bunk recommendation from another shop and my brakes still have 25,000 miles left. Trustworthy & dependable mechanics are hard to find. I can honestly say my experiences at this location have been nothing short of a pleasure. It's all about the dedicated staff and their mantra. A rarity in the industry, but It's NOT about extracting every last penny from a customer. For example, 'honest Armando' (as I will now call him) saved me hundreds of dollars when I insisted my vehicle needed a new alternator & new battery. After sone testing, both came up short of the required reading. However, he thought I would be best served to test out the car with the new battery first and after a few days see if I had any problems - at which point, I could bring it back in and they would replace it. Well, it's been 6 months and I just took it back in to Jiffy Lube. I asked for an alternator check (had no problems thus far) and I was just informed, no issues at all with my alternator. Enough said really. They may have cost themselves additional revenue back in January but have won themselves a customer for life! read more
