My 2010 Infiniti G37 was in need of an oil change. I usually take it to Infiniti of Tustin for $39.95 because I can usually get them to give me a loaner car to drive back to work. That way I don't have to waste my lunch and wait around for them to change the oil. Plus they wash the car. I also figured, $39 for an oil change, loaner car, plus car wash, I can live with that. But when I called today to make an appt, I asked my usual service guy Julian why there wasn't a $39.95 coupon, he said that they have changed to 100% synthetic oil, and that it is now $59.95! $59.95! Forget it! So I Googled the nearest Jiffy Lube, I've always been hesitant because I know they don't use "individual" quarts of oil, but from a big drum. Anyways, I called them, asked if they take appts, they said no, I asked them how long it would take if I brought it in at lunch, they said 30 mins. I downloaded/printed a coupon for $21.99. So I arrived there around 11:50am, there was no one in front of me. They wrote me up, got started on the car right away. They did try to cross sell me for everything under the sun, I just said no to everything. :) I went to the Burger King in the same plaza to pick up some food. I brought it back to the Jiffy Lube waiting room and started eating. They were done with my car before I could finish my burger! That really amazed me! Coming from Infiniti of Tustin that usually takes 1 1/2 hrs for an oil change, 20 mins at Jiffy Lube really won me over! Besides, for $23 after tax, oil change in 20 mins... ROCKS! I even had time to go to Costco to tank up before going back to work! I think I'll bring my wife's Honda Odyssey back here, that way I don't have to wait 2 hrs at the Honda dealer with 3 kids waiting and asking how much longer! read more

I bought used car acura tsx 05 and drove straight to jeffy lube in main st for oil change last Thursday. I'm the only customer at that time and the process done less than 15 minutes. I asked the guy if he can check my tire pressure too. I don't think he did it. I drove back home after i paid with online coupon and parked my car in the garage. I found out the next day oil drops on the floor, I thought something wrong with my car and i brought to mechanic in lake forest, they checked and show me jeffy lube put wrong washer on the bolt. I've been to this location a few times but the last 2 times I've gone for an oil change they have forgotten to reattach part of my engine, which resulted in my "check engine" light coming on. TWICE. All within the last year. Sure I probably should have learned my lesson and not returned, but I thought perhaps it was just a silly mistake. Needless to say I will definitely NOT be returning here again. Ever. If they forget something "small" like that twice (did i say twice already?), then what else are they forgetting?? I was also NOT offered any sort of compensation for having to return to have the problem fixed and the light cleared. twice! This Jiffy Lube is AWFUL and completely DANGEROUS! My wife brought her vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. She left and waited for an extended period of time before it was done, and then came back to pick it up. When she did, they informed her that they completed all the services, but that her rear tires has steel lining showing through and to CHECK HER ALIGNMENT. They didn't ask if she still wanted the rotation or not, they did it anyways...knowing that she would have to replace the tires and the rotation was a complete waste of time. More importantly than that, when she got home...I looked at her tires. The rear tires had a TON of steel lining coming through AND a giant gash in one of them! We took it to the tire place and they wouldnt even let us drive it home before they were replaced, because it was that DANGEROUS! Jiffy Lube simply let her drive off the lot and only said to "check alignment"....what a joke, and one that could of seriously harmed my wife. When I called to complain, I got the run around for 2 days, before RUBEN, the manager...if you can even call him that, got on the phone. He kept saying how he wasn't there when they did it, so he can't do much. He finally offered to refund just for the tires, but that it would take a week plus to cut us a check! Why should we have to wait for a refund because of their negligence and the danger they put my wife in. Took my car for an oil change due to the close proximity to my office. They tried to sell me everything under the sun (which reminded me why I don't usually go to Jiffy Lube). All I wanted was a dang oul change for which they now charge $40 after taxes and all. Thats insane! For basic oil at that! The staff was professional and friendly, the waiting are is very clean, nice and they offer free coffee. Tip: print out the $5 coupon online first! And say not to everything they try to sell you! I work right around the corner and was leaving my office one day when I noticed I had a flat tired. I pulled in here in a bit of a panic but Sam went out of his way to help me. He filled the empty tire, checked all other tires (including my spare) and even suggested a close tire shop to go fix the flat fixed. Because of this level of customer service offered to me even as a stranger not giving their business money, it drew me back in. I went here yesterday for an oil change and had a chance to interact with more employees, everyone was friendly without trying to up charge me or be creepy (which can sometimes happen at these shops. . . right, ladies?) They assisted me right away with their signature oil service ($37.99)They noticed my headlights were foggy and dated so they said they would polish it (which I have been worried about since they look so dim at night) He said both headlights regularly cost $50 but that he would give me $10 discount in addition to a free car wash. I asked him if I could use the $10 discount for checking in but he rejected it saying I already "reached he maximum discount already" and emphasized that I was getting a good deal. *They did do an excellent job cleaning and polishing my headlights, they look brand new! BEWARE of this place! My husband and I took our cars here a couple of times and had no issues, until our last visit in which they suggested we get all the air filters in my car changed and the transmission fluid replaced. My transmission fluid wasn't up for replacing yet, so we refused. And we also refused getting my air filters replaced because my husband said he could easily buy and replace those himself. SO...this past weekend we went to Kragen to buy air filters for my car. When we removed the lid on the air filter for my engine and took the air filter out, we found NUTS in the compartment under the filter! Yes, we found NUTS! I always carry a little container of nuts in my car for emergencies where we may need a snack. And we found hand-full of them under my engine's air filter. What the HELL?! The last people to do anything on my car was Jiffy Lube (for the last 2 oil changes). If the nuts were there when they checked the filter, I would think they would've said something. So obviously they took them from my car and put them there just to be a-holes because we refused changing my air filters with them. My husband and I were pretty pissed when we saw that, so we're never going back to this Jiffy Lube. He even called and told them about it, but all they did was deny it. They didn't even bother to say they'd look into it and make sure whoever did it gets reprimanded. Honestly, BEWARE. If you refuse some service they offer here, who knows what they'll do to your car without you knowing it - just for their own laugh or kicks or maybe to mess your car up so you'll take it back to get the service they suggested. If you did take your car there, I recommend checking your car very carefully and make sure they didn't mess with your car. From now on, I'm going back to Big O' Tires by the Irvine Spectrum. The owner there always treats me with respect and gives me a very fair price. They also include tire rotations in with your oil change rather than charge you $25 like Jiffy Lube. Staff is fast and polite, but their standard practice is to remove the air filter and drive turn on the engine and drive the car into the garage with the filter still removed. All this does is suck up all the sand, dirt, and debris that is caught in your air box into your engine. This may include bird feathers, leaves, bugs, and anything that you might see floating in the air wherever you drive. This affect is compounded if you drive off road or in dusty areas for work. This is the sole purpose of the air filter, and when you go to jiffy lube, you might as well never use one. read more

Writing a Yelp review for an oil change shop feels weird, but I had such a great experience. I went in just needing to get my oil changed, as I had that mark where your car starts saying OIL CHANGE OIL CHANGE. Sam was awesome when I got there. I told him I had a coupon, and I told him I knew I was going to need a new air filter (I had been putting it off). He instantly gave me the price (a fair one at that) Sam also mentioned that the tires needed to be rotated and the brake fluid flushed, both things I was waiting to do. Sam offered a good price for everything in total, and I went ahead with the services. Only downside was I was told about 45 minute wait, and it ended up being about an hour and 15 minutes. Sam gave me two free car washes for the inconvenience. As I was leaving, both guys doing the oil changes thanked me for coming in, that just never happens. I have been coming here for so many years it's ridiculous. Today I brought my car for a simple oil change. Instead my new tire caught a nail while one of the employees was driving my car. The manager just thought it was ok to offer me to patch up my tire. New tire. He knows better that once tire is patched up it might run for as long as it supposed to or might not, which means I might have to replace it sooner. He thought it was appropriate to raise his voice. Horrible attitude and even worse work for a manager when a client explains to them how important it is for me to get out of here ASAP because I have an important meeting at my job and what my explanation will be " Jiffy Lube" screwed up my tire so excuse me for being late"??? Really??? And he just stands there and asks me "So what do you want me to do?" Go do your job. How's that? This is not the first time this place screwed up. I don't know what is going on here because before I have never had any issues. Ever. The previous time I came for my brake change not that it took them over 45 minutes more than what they told me, the person who changed my breaks, threw everything out of my glove department on the floor (including new face masks) and never even bothered to pick it up and put it back. First of all, what the hell were you doing in my glove department???? This is really sucks because today I learnt that I need to look for a new oil change place because no way in hell I will be back here. Not after this. I have learnt that this company policy is not to give a crap about customers. At least not under current management. Very pushy. Always suggesting things for your car that you don't need. They tried to push a fuel injection cleaning on my car even though they had done it the last time I was there. they do a nice job and work quickly, but they are not trustworthy. I get the same service every time (oil change with synthetic oil I supply), and every time I've gone there for 7 years I've been quoted a radically different price from $30 up to $95! When they wanted $95 they explained that Jiffy Lube had a new policy that required that the same price be charged for a synthetic oil change even when the customer supplies the oil! I got in my car to drive elsewhere and they said "ok $30." Intentionally lying to a customer about a known fixed price is not bargaining or accidental, it is fraud. I simply give up, and will drive a few miles further rather than go across the street because I am sick of the flea market experience. Sad. read more

Pretty standard Jiffy Lube. Pretty standard prices. Look online for coupons, can usually save 10 or 15%. No lines on the weekend because they have all four bays going. I'm usually in and out within 30 minutes. I found the guys working there to be professional and good at what they do. Have never had a problem with the services they perform. Most importantly, I do not feel like they push unneeded services on me. Often times, they've told me that I do not need services. That's really important for me, because there's nothing worse than feeling like you've been scammed for auto-care. read more

Great service and includes a free bronze level car wash that you can use anytime you want, by simply handing your stamped receipt from jiffy. You can also upgrade your car wash if you desire. You simply pull up to their garage, and someone greets you right away. I went on a Friday around 9:30am. Waited about 45 min (they fixed my broken light also). I came to get a headlight changed and they had no idea how to change it and ended up getting the bulb stuck in the frame. So luckily they were smart enough to get a wire with a piece of gum stuck to the end of it to try and get the out but all it did was leave sticky residue in my light box. Greeted by a super friendly Alex as I pulled in at 1:02pm. He said he would be right with me so I parked the car and walked into the very spacious customer wait area. He came in soon after and went over the rundown, what oil I wanted, how many miles to set for the next oil change sticker, and of course if I wanted tire rotation, air filter, or cabin filter change. I figure they have to do this stuff and he was so friendly it didn't bother me. I could have said easily said no, there wasn't an uncomfortable pressure feel. At the end, I got my $12 Yelp discount and he stamped my receipt for a free car wash next door at FastXpress, good for 30 days. I came here for my first motor oil change. I was skeptical coming in because my friends told me to be careful for people upselling, doing unnecessary checks and charging you, or taking advantage of my ignorance and not properly changing the motor oil in general. As a result, I visited this jiffy lube with a more experienced friend. I went around 4PM on a Sunday. They were close to closing so I was the only (and last) customer. One of the technicians did try to upsell me some things but in the end, I stuck to the normal oil change. He was not pushy so I am thankful for that. They told me that the whole process would take 15-20 minutes, which is what I expected. However, I went inside the waiting room and within 5-10 minutes, the technician said it was finished. I was definitely surprised and a bit skeptical of this speedy service. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt since all 5-6 technicians were working on my car. Thankfully, I had a $15 coupon that I found on their website. The original cost was around $40, but I ended paying just under $25. A very sweet! When I went to get my car, I noticed that the side of my driver's seat popped out. My car is 10 years but in VERY good condition (all my friends who sit in my car are appalled that it's a decade old). Because the side popped out, I was not able to adjust my seat. I informed one of the technicians about this problem and said this did not happen before I came in. The technicians saw this problem and instantly began saying that it was "not their fault" and "they would have noticed if something like this happened." I was a bit angry but my experienced (calm) friend suggested to have them attempt to screw/glue the plastic back up. The jiffy lube did not have glue (what car place doesnt have special car glue?!) so I had to run to the plaza next door and buy krazy glue. The two technicians worked on it for about 10-15 minutes and "fixed" it. It was fixed because my seat adjustor was work but the plastic part was still popping out slightly. In the end, I went home and taped the section with tape. It's definitely not appealing, but it will suffice. Bottom line: Be cautious when coming to this jiffy lube. Not sure if their service is really that efficient and superb. Also, check their website for coupons! read more

Rude, unprofessional employees. I went in for a diagnostic as I'm preparing to go for a long trip and my engine light came on. This is a service that I have previously received at the Jiffy Lube in Cypress. The young, obviously inexperienced man informed me that Jiffy Lube does not perform this service. I explained to him that I've had this done before and he cut me off and said well none of the Jiffy Lube's do it anymore and told me to go down the road as any service station could help me. I asked for a recommendation, since I'm new to the area. He said check your phone that'll tell you and walked away. I called the Jiffy Lube in Cypress and they apologize for the poor experience I received in Irvine and invited me to visit them and they will take care of me. Although this will alter my travel plans for today, I'm comfortable with driving back and having them check why my engine light came on. read more

It really is a huge bummer how they're not really great with cars because staffs there are really nice. My first visit was in February 2013. I took my car for a tune-up because I was supposed to drive down to San Diego. They did a lot of work on my car. My car seemed fine when I picked it up, but I noticed that its steering wheel started to vibrate once I got on a freeway. It vibrated so much I couldn't keep holding it. I brought it back next morning and had a tech test drove with me, but they said it was normal. I had to argue with the tech because there is no way it vibrates so much you can't keep putting your hands on it because it hurts. The manager suggested me to take the car to a different shop to have it balance and mount and he would reimburse the bill. The issue got resolved, but it was such a hassle going back and forth between shops and missing out an important meeting for my work... Not the greatest experience. My second visit was pretty recent. I took my car August 10, 2015 for an oil change. Oil change itself went pretty quick and smooth, but the car started making squealing noise after I had the service. I called them next day, and they just told me to bring it back in. I took my car following day to have them take a look at it, and they said it was caused by drive belt and re-tightened it for me. The noise stopped for the moment, but it got a lot worse next day. Now I'm stuck with this awful squealing noise. I don't have time to take my car to a shop (I'm going to take it a different shop this time, of course...) until next week so I have to drive around with this embarrassing noise which occurs the entire time I have my car turned on. People are great there, but I probably will never go back, due to the condition I received my car back - twice. read more

I've had very good service here. I have taken my car here twice, once for an oil change, and once to put new license plates on my car. The oil change was fast and efficient, and they even recommended that I take my car to a full service mechanic to get my rear tail lights looked at, since I seem to have a problem where they burn out very quickly on one side. No other mechanic I have been to has suggested this before, so I disregarded this suggestion. Recently when I was looking back through paperwork on my car, the previous owner had the same problem with taillights burning out too quickly on one side. I figure that means they have some pretty knowledgable guys working there, since they picked up on this problem that no one else had. They also did not try to sell me replacement bulbs, which all previous mechanics I have gone to have done. Recently, when I took my car here to get my new plates put on (the bolts on the back are rusted tight and I am missing ones for the front plate), they did it for free, and even gave me bolts to use. I would absolutely go back to these guys. They are smart, and they are interested in keeping customers coming back to them. read more

I came here to get an oil change for my 2012 Ford F-150. I generally hate getting oil changes, but if I have to go this is a great place to do it. I was helped by Alex, who was sure to tell me exactly what was going on with my oil, air filter, tires, etc. and very friendly. There's free coffee and a free car wash from the place next door with your oil change, which I appreciated. There's also wifi in the waiting area, so feel free to bring a laptop or tablet to pass the time. I stopped by on a Wednesday around 3:30 with no appointment and was done in about 30 minutes. I always use synthetic oil and with the large truck engine (5.0 liter V8) plus a new air filter the price ended up being around $120. This is a pretty typical price, sadly, so they're right in line with what I've paid other places. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this business if you're in need of a quick, easy, no-nonsense oil change. read more

Brought my '01 Toyota Tacoma truck for a oil change (with a coupon). The whole crew was very professional and polite. There was no upsell of services when I asked for just the oil change. They showed my air filter to me, which is still mostly clean AND put it back before running the engine. Their waiting room is very spacious, with free coffee or water, plus a flat screen tv to occupy your time if you don't want to use their free WiFi. Service only took about 25 minutes, which included the oil change, interior vacuum, and all windows cleaned. Whoever hired Jay, pat yourself on the back. Seriously. I've been coming to this location for at least 4 years or so. It's always been just the kind of service you expect. Nothing more, nothing less. Today, that changed. I have always done what I can to change the oil in my truck every 3k miles. I've never waited for the oil light to come on. Life, lately, has been a little chaotic. The mileage service due when sticker on the windshield was distorted, so all I could read was that my last change was in August of 2015. So I just assumed the mileage was up and it needed the oil change. I drove in and Jay began to check me in - and without me asking - let me know I've got 2k miles left before I am due for a change. He then checked the levels and topped it off for free, and sent me on my way. I have never, ever, had a vehicle service anything tell me I didn't need something I was fully willing to and prepared to pay for without question. I am still quite stunned. In a good way.
