Whoever hired Jay, pat yourself on the back. Seriously. I've been coming to this location for at least 4 years or so. It's always been just the kind of service you expect. Nothing more, nothing less. Today, that changed. I have always done what I can to change the oil in my truck every 3k miles. I've never waited for the oil light to come on. Life, lately, has been a little chaotic. The mileage service due when sticker on the windshield was distorted, so all I could read was that my last change was in August of 2015. So I just assumed the mileage was up and it needed the oil change. I drove in and Jay began to check me in - and without me asking - let me know I've got 2k miles left before I am due for a change. He then checked the levels and topped it off for free, and sent me on my way. I have never, ever, had a vehicle service anything tell me I didn't need something I was fully willing to and prepared to pay for without question. I am still quite stunned. In a good way. Service here is ridiculous...ly AWESOME! Oil change for $43 after a $15 off Yelp coupon for high-mileage synthetic oil. A bit expensive for oil (you can find other places for $25 pretty easily), but justifiable for the service provided. It's the many small things that make it worthwhile. They checked my air filters, tire pressure, topped off water...overall they conducted a very comprehensive check for my car minus the diagnostic check. Oh, and they have a comfy lounge with AC for you to wait in (needs some couches). They also value you as a customer and explain the little things they do, especially if it comes at a charge. Topped off my the service with a FREE CAR WASH at the Fast5 next door :'). SIDE STORY: about a month ago I wasn't sure if I needed an oil change. It had been over 6 months since my last one. Upon arriving, I told the worker I needed an oil change, and he quickly took a check of my oil and upon further evaluation, explained to me that my oil quality was still sufficient and I could go for another month or so. Just went to this location to avail the "RAINY DAY SPECIAL" promotion (1/21/2012 only) but they said I need to have a code so they can enter this in the system. I understand that they needed a code but the promo says just mention "RAINY DAY SPECIAL" to avail this. So I had to pay full price for the oil change. You need to take this down since it's pretty much useless. The manager wasn't available so I spoke with Edgar and he also said they needed a code. Had I not taken the time to carefully consider each thing the mechanic suggested I get done for the car I would have been even more over charged. If you go here don't think because they suggest something you have to do it and make sure the check the coupon they give you the guy that took care of me tried not running it. Don't feel overwhelmed by their sales tactics and shop around before you go. Really quick review, always get my oil changes done at different JL and they always say if you need your oil topped off or tire pressure checked just come in in. Well today was one of those pouring rain days and i got a warning that my tire pressure was low so I pulled in here and Alex checked all tires and let me know the pressure in each one and got me out of there very quickly. This is by far one of the best places to get an oil change done. All the technicians are super friendly, upbeat, & knowledgeable. I came in today Bcus I was a very bad car owner & let my car oil change keep slipping my mind. Jay ( or I think that's his name... ) was super nice and accommodating. I didn't feel like I was getting terribly up sold or ass raped (excuse the language). About 10 minutes before my car was done, he came in to give me a status update on my car. I'm a regular customer of this Jiffy Lube location. I'm here several times a year, for the last 8+ years. It is a convenient location near my office and the service is exceptional. It seems to have improved over the last few years: all the technicians are friendly/polite and knowledgeable. On average a basic oil change takes them about 30 minutes to complete, including a thorough inspection of all other major fluids, filters, tire pressure etc. They are reasonably priced and are never pushy about other recommendations. read more

It seems this location has received quite the melting pot of reviews, which surprised me. I've taken my '96 Camry LE here twice for oil changes and had pretty good service. Maybe it's because I'm a girl, in college, so take that into consideration when reading my review. I had the $19.99 oil change coupon so I decided to finally get my much needed oil change. The mechanic checked out the engine and recommended a transmission fluid and radiator fluid exchange, along with a fuel system cleaning. I asked why, if it was really that important, and ended up going with it because I am used to getting my car serviced at a shady Chinese cash only business and figured it'd be nice to actually know what was happening to my car. Oh, and his recommendations were all made without knowing I had the coupon, so I have less reason to believe he was trying to compensate for the discount. There was a nice sitting area inside, where there used to be snack food stands. Instead, there were a few racks of magazines and four patio tables with chairs, and a TV tuned to Dr. Oz so the wait wasn't terrible. After all the work was done, which took only about 40 minutes, I paid and drove off. My windows were surprisingly clean; they did a complementary window cleaning for me, it turned out. I thought that was a nice touch. If I wasn't moving back home I'd keep coming back to this Jiffy Lube :) read more

Needed an oil change fairly urgently, but didn't want to spend a ton of money. Fortunately, this place was very close to my apartment, and had a 15$ off oil change deal. Sam was friendly, and very helpful, telling me about what he would recommend and why. He wasn't pushy and accepted my decline of his offers. The waiting area was nice, with free wifi and coffee. I always take my Jeep to this location for oil changes and have built a nice relationship with the staff, which helps eliminate the feeling of being pressured or scammed. Jiffy Lube almost always has a coupon available and they are willing to help with pricing if I do need more than one service. One thing that drives me crazy about this place is the intense up-selling they do. I like that they tell me what other services I need, but I don't like when they just automatically throw it on my bill. That's exactly what makes me hesitate coming to places like these. So, once I saw that my $50 oil change bill was suddenly $400 *gulp*, I had him pause and run through all the added on services. I was grateful to learn what else my car needed, but was just sticking with the oil change for that day. I see that there are a lot of low reviews for this Jiffy Lube location, and I don't quite seem to understand why. At first, I was hesitant on coming to this location due to all the poor ratings, but I really needed to get my oil change done and it just happens that this Jiffy Lube is the closest location. I got there early in the morning for a synthetic oil change, one of the workers came up to my window right when I pulled up. Told him all I needed was a synthetic oil change for my car and nothing else. They also honor the $10 off discount or $15 off discount, which was nice. I asked how long it would take for it to be finished, and the guy told me about 30 minutes or so. So my boyfriend and I left to go get some breakfast across the street while we wait, and by the time we walked back my car was all set and ready! Everything was in place and driver seat carpet was vacuumed. So all in all, I definitely recommend for fast service and fast oil change. read more

They must be doing something right since i always seem to be going back. like all Jiffy Lubes this location is quick and has good attentive staff. the only problem is that i always seem to spend much more for an oil change than i had originally expected. what ever happened to the 19.99 oil change? Also, this location used to share their space with a nice car wash outfit that gave you a free car wash with every oil change. I am sad to say the car wash didn't make it and has closed up shop. :( read more
