If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband took our van in for an oil change. We were charged $95. The oil life indicator on the van now says 20%. It was 30% when we took it in two days ago. I checked the dipstick - there is oil, but at the very bottom of the dipstick. I called the Jiffy Lube location, where they told me I probably had a leak. I wasn't allowed to speak to a manager because he was "really busy". I then called BS and was hung up on. DO NOT USE JIFFY LUBE. read more

Just got off with Corporate explaining how my car has been Jiffy lube on 82nd st for 8 days now. Was charged for a valve vover gasket that was never replaced. Since learned the mechanic who has since been fired ,cracked my valve cover. Admitting the mechanic didnt install my valve cover gasket but charged me Keith ordered up valve cover . Going on 8 days since ordering my parts . Called Wednesday 7 days after part was ordered and told part was in and they would install gasket and valve cover. Called Thursday and told by EL that mechanic working on installing new parts had to leave for family emergency,took me to call, I had asked EL to keep me posted but took me to call. Called 3x this morning to find out if they where working on my car, No answer.This place after reading revirws has a history of damaging cars engines, either through incompetence or just a lack of hiring qualified tech. Just a reflection of poor customer service. Called corporate but its franchised, the Brand name Jiffylube doesnt mean much. This place by the reviews wont be in business with poor service .Id advice anyone thinking of using this location to be aware of this stores history. I wouldnt recommend even an oil change. I've used Jiffy Lube periodically over the past ten years. However, my most recent visit at the Kansas City Zona Rosa location off I-29 and NW Barry Road Kansas City Missouri 64157. It was an exceptional experience, the most pleasant automotive repair I can ever remember having. Every team member who spoke with me had great customer service skills. from the young man who checked me in, to the mechanic who actually did the brake work and explained everything needed and why - with great patience, to the front end manager. Came in on a Friday afternoon. They weren't busy. Able to drive right in. Service was quick. Told them I wanted an oil change & that's all I got. They didn't try to sell me additional service or other products. They diss give me a printout of what was "good vs ok vs needs attention" regarding my car. The Jiffy Lube in Liberty stripped two of my lug nuts in the process of rotating my tires. They couldn't fix the damage so they sent me to the Zona Rosa location. After speaking with management staff (Will and Myles) we reached an agreement for the Zona Rosa Jiffy Lube to replace the damaged parts at no cost to me. Quick and efficient, everything resolved to my satisfaction, and I'll drive 10 miles out of my way to get service from this location from here on out. read more

Despite the signs for complimentary battery testing out front, the technician said he couldn't figure out how to test it and to take it to my dealership When I got home I smelled something burning and a few mins later came back and saw my fresh oil all in my driveway. This places prices are higher than Willy Nelson - told my wife 191 bucks for a standard oil change and then actually stated that the reason that this was high was because it lasted 5000 miles (synthetic lasts 10k), went to the Toyota stealership just down the road and it was 70 bucks and that's a stealership!!! Up until I read the other reviews here on yelp and this happening, I always thought that oil change prices were dependent on the car and oil type ... evidentially I've just learned that I was wrong all these years and it seems to be dependent on the customers genitalia and these guys are douchebags waiting to service accordingly. Being jiffy lube, it is easy to be upsold and be overpriced products including an $80 quote on synthetic oil "recommended" for my vehicle. But when it clearly says the presumptive maximum PSI as listed on the tire, these guys off of Barry Rd near Zona Rosa decided to pump my back tires to 60 PSI on one back tire, 50 on this back tire, and then under-inflate to 30 PSI on the two front tires. I took in my own oil, my own filter, they refused the $15 dollar coupon from which I already saved more than they were about to scam me out of, and for the icing of the cake, I overheard alot of discussion concerning "Hey do you know how much air to put in this tire?" "Yeah, I just look at the gauge here on the hose." "I don't know how much oil goes in here, maybe 5 quarts? Yeah 5 quarts (never bothers to look at dipstick)" "Sir we cannot close your air intake filter as the hinges are rusted, but you can buy them sometime " *air intake filter was easily tightly shut by me simply propping the hood and using the slightest elbow grease I ever had to muster in my car* mind you I usually change my oil, but decided to splurge this one time as I have make a 40 minute trip to Lawrence, KS tomorrow morning. According to Google, "Jiffy Lube is the only company in the quick oil change industry that has the distinction of being an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Training Provider." I waited 48 minutes for a two other men to fumble on a car only to eventually have the manager escort their actions. At the end of this, I still spent $51 hard earned dollars for this one expense I could have spent a fraction at the cost doing at home. Attention to detail must be a focal point at this location or some serious accidents could be the result of this shop's fatal mistakes. They did the oil change, and it seems to be a clean job, but you can clearly see my pressure gauge did not lie as to the amount of careless air they put in. read more

I just tried to drop off my car for a quick oil change for my company car. 3 different people told me they would be right with me. Looking in the shop area I could see 3 employees barley working and talking amongst themselves mostly. I ended up waiting 20 minutes for someone to help me. When Kelly finally took my information she was very incompetent in the basics of a computer. She had to call for assistance 3 times to get it entered. I will not come back. UPDATE: They never called me back. I called them 10 minutes before they closed to ask when my car will be ready. Been coming here for several years, different cars, they always do a good job. It's tough trying to do something that people really don't want to do, like getting a tooth filled. Oil changes keep going up in price, yet per barrel prices are half what they were a year ago, sounds like oil changes places are looking at record profits which = a good stock pick. I had an oil leak from them not replacing the oil drain plug. I noticed small drips of oil in my garage floor. I took it back to them and the replaced the oil drain plug at no charge. The manager offered to come my home to clean the garage. He took my name and number told me that would call me when he was on his way. He never called me back. read more

The person that came to talk to us about our issue argued with us and told us that we were flat out wrong about what we saw under our car. He said that we couldn't possibly have seen that the oil filter was loose and that if it had been the loose something different would have happened. Why would we make it up? He raised his voice and used profane language. As we drove away he chased us and yelled some more. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior for no reason at all. We came to jiffy lube for help and we were met with condescension and discouragement. I will never go to any Jiffy Lube because of this experience. DO NOT GO HERE. I tried to give this place ZERO stars, but it had to make me do at least 1. I will not recommend it nor go back. I spent $248 on an oil service and transmission service. I noticed my 2013 Chevrolet Equinox sounded different over the past few weeks. I had my vehicle looked at, and there was NO air filter! I spend $42 purchasing an air filter and installing it myself. I go back to this location to see if they would make it right, but they would only refund me $27; which is the cost of the air filter they sell. This is unacceptable. This could have done major damage to my engine. I then called Jiffy Lube corporate customer service. After 1 hour, 20 minutes, and 8 seconds on being on hold, I decided I would finally hang up. Although I purchased a $25 Groupon coupon, they tried to sell me synthetic oil which would add another $125 to my bill. I refused and was told I still needed to pay $35 for the oil change. went to this jiffy lube before i got back on the road to head home from kansas city. the early bird special was GREAT. between 7am and 10am they give 10 bucks off ANY service that you order for your vehicle. i got 3 services and saved 30 bucks. what would have cost me 100 bucks ended up being 70. also, the BEST customer service i have received in 2011 and the BEST auto service i have ever received. i totally recommend this place read more

Went in earlier today and got an oil change and tire rotation. The staff was friendly. Arrived at 9:45 and didn't get out of there until 11. I almost missed my tee time because of the delay. They were busy and I understand that, but there were two people that arrived after me and left before me. That was upsetting. I saw the manager come in and out of the reception area multiple times to talk to people about their air filters (he was 1/3 on the sales while I was sitting there). They didn't seem to be in a hurry even though all the bays were being used with people waiting to get in. They gave me $5 off for the delay which is the only reason I put 2 stars. Also, don't get high mileage oil here, it cost me $55 for it as opposed to $35-$45 elsewhere. Will not be returning. read more

NEVER AGAIN will I step foot in a Jiffy Lube!!! I will convince all of my family, friends, colleagues and anyone else willing to listen to me to never go to Jiffy Lube. The other day I convinced a co-worker to go to National Tire & Battery instead, because you can set an appointment and they change your oil for $23 including a tire rotation if needed. (Go there instead!!) I took my car in for an oil change and as I drove away something wasn't right. Long story short, Jiffy Lube didn't properly reassemble the intake manifold box (NOTE: I am not car savvy so that's paraphrased of what I remember the mechanic telling me that looked at my car). After getting my car towed to the mechanic and having the mechanic fix the problem that Jiffy Lube caused, I went back to Jiffy Lube to ask for some help with my bill since they were the cause of my unnecessary visit to the mechanic and they did nothing. The manager acknowledged that it was possible they messed up but did absolutely ZERO to restore any confidence in them. For that, NEVER AGAIN!! read more
