Went here yesterday before noon to get my oil changed. The attendant scanned the wrong code (inside my door) and said "wow, way more information than I need". Then he tried to scan the code on my dashboard (didn't work), then his coworker called him under the hood and showed him where to scan. It was like training day. Now, the kicker. As these guys are looking up my vehicle information (I'm sitting 10 feet away with my window down), the guy turns to his buddy while laughing and says "can you believe they put a 2.7 liter in this thing, I've lost all faith in U.S. automakers". Obviously everyone present was cool with this as all they did was laugh. Not sure how much more unprofessional someone could be but if you are trying to ensure you don't get repeat business, you're killing it. read more

We stopped here on a road trip on a Thursday afternoon to get our AC serviced, they took us right in and did the job super fast! I'm not gonna lie I have generally been skeptical of mechanics in the past- especially franchise places, but this specific location has changed my mind and restored a little bit of my faith in humanity. They even gave us a discount and topped off our fluids for us! I guess it just goes to show that being nice to people can go a long way. read more

Being called bud a bunch of times by a 20 something year old really is annoying. Having them strip the threads on your oil pan plug also annoying. So now my oil change has turned into having to buy a whole new oil pan. Thank you Jiffy Lube! I will no longer be lazy and will be changing my own oil. read more

After almost three weeks of waiting for a promised call from Jiffy Lube corporate, I finally talked to the area district manager today. He never addressed the issues I raised in my review but offered some advice to go to a different location next time and he would give me $15 off on my next oil change. The only reason I'm giving a five star is for the amazing professional service from Andrés at the desk. He was courteous and professional, and answered all of my questions I had in a kind manner. If it wasn't for him I would be giving a one star review. The one star is specifically for the worker named Cheyenne. She was incredibly rude when I asked a question. Double-check their work! My car in for an oil change. They did not give a hard copy receipt and did not receive the email receipt as promised and car was not vacuumed.. The next day the car was having trouble with its brakes. Upon pulling over, it was completely out of brake fluid. Although they do not provide brake services at this location, according to their website and the receipt, they are supposed to visually check the brake fluid level. The next day we returned to get a hard copy receipt and let them know that they forgot a step and incorrectly evaluated the vehicle, I was alarmed to find that their only response was that they don't do brakes at this location, so they don't check the fluid. They shrugged us off and told us we should take our vehicle to Les Schwaab to have the brakes checked right away. I spoke with the person in charge who printed a copy of the receipt the the 'Brake fluid ' line marked Full. He commented that we should not be driving a vehicle with no brake fluid. They offered no apology, no coupon or discount on our next service, nothing to bring us back. After paying $80.00 for an oil change, this is not the level of service that should've been provided. Poor management = poor quality staff = poor quality of service. read more

I didn't feel like Julie, the mechanic associate who guided me through my transaction, were trying to upsell a bunch of expensive nonsense to me while I was there. I wrote a previous review complaining about this place and it has disappeared. The other bad reviews have been filtered ( read them). This place is poorly managed, does poor work, and tries hard to get you to do much more than you came in for or need. A Subaru requires a special gasket be in place after an oil change. They didn't have it, so just left off the gasket. My car leaked oil all over the driveway and garage. Are you kidding me! Stay away from this place! read more

5-star service on a Sunday afternoon from Sal, Carson, and Brianna. They were friendly and capable getting me and my 2020 Ram 2500 in and out in a jiffy. ;-) Though they didn't have my preferred oil in stock, they directed me to a nearby auto parts store to buy my oil for them to do the oil change. After first oil change found oil very overfilled (was puffing smoke on startup) Went back to rectify and it was changed, Started hearing lifter tick for a few seconds at startup (car has 23k) - Went to the dealer and oil was found to be overfilled AGAIN. Jiffy Lube Corporate would not authorize the dealer to correct the overfilled oil, Been back and forth with them for almost 3 months. If you value your car or your time STAY AWAY, For your own good. They will not own up to any mistakes. read more

Every time I try jiffy lube I end up paying at least $20 more than other oil change places around town. In addition the technician knocked a cable off my starter and then couldn't figure out how to reattach it. Very disappointing experience. read more

Update for my previous review: Less than 8 hours after posting my previous review here on yelp, I was contacted by Jiffy Lube's official Yelp account and received an email from D'Evelyn Bartie, Guest Services Manager for Jiffy Lube. Let me start out by reviewing the work Ms. Bartie has done. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She understood how terrible the service her company provided really was, and even though my review didn't ask for any sort of compensation, has issued a refund for the oil change portion of my visit (30 dollars) and mailed me an oil change comp coupon (30 dollars). This goes a long way to describe how the company wants to keep their customers, however, as i explained to her it is likely too little too late, as i made 5 attempted to contact the company which were completely ignored, and only after a review was made on a public forum did i receive any sort of assistance. Now let me move on to the District Manager I spoke with last night. I didn't catch his name, but that's OK as he wasn't incredibly helpful. He called and stated that he had received an email instructing him to call me about poor service I received at one of his stores. After we talked for a while the only recommendations he could give were "well we have other stores in the area with 5 Star Yelp Ratings" and "the Pasco stores are all about customer service". I asked him if he was familiar with my case and why I was upset. He explained that he wasn't. When i mentioned this to D'Evelyn Bartie (who i assumed was the one to get in touch with him) she stated that her email to him was very detailed and explained the whole case, so just like everyone else (outside of Ms. Bartie) in his company, he claimed he was "all about customer service" but couldn't take the 5 minutes to read the email he received and just wanted to get the call out of the way so he could clear his inbox. So outside of Ms. Bartie, I'm still incredibly disappointed in a company that really had been pretty good to this point. Her work however has put Jiffy Lube back on the map in terms of "if there is no-where else for me to get an oil change, and i'm in desperate need of one, i'll use their oil service (and only that, as this problem came from their break service and treatment of customers). read more

Took my wifes daily driver there a while ago for an oil change and everything was fine until the oil plug fell out last night. We have had that vehicle for over 3 years and never had an issue with the plug. Thinking the massive oil leak was something more serious we had it towed to our mechanic who took care of it. This was the second chance I have given Jiffy Lube, the first one used an air gun to put the plug in and completely stripped the plug. Two things are certain 1) I have a driveway for of oil to clean up and 2) I will never go to Jiffy Lube again! read more

Would never go back to this place! About a week ago I came for oil change and knowing of their sales practices I changed air filter and filled up coolant fluid right before I went there. You should see sales person's sad face when he pulled crystal clear white air filter :( and of course he asked me if I want coolant top-off for 4.99 I declined. I did not check receipt before leaving shop, but when I got home noticed 4.99 on it coolant top-off charge! WTF??? I filled up my coolant before going there and also declined coolant service! Yesterday, I went in and got an oil change for my vehicle. I have gotten oil changes before here, but, havn't in awhile. I feel that the employees have to push so many products or repairs on you. I hate that. I get why they have to do it, because theres probably not alot of profit in an oil change. But, anyway, I asked how much it was going to be and after going through his computer, he said, around $55.00 plus Tax and I said, whoa thats a bit high. And I said, You have a sign out there that says, $15.00 off and he says, its already been deducted. And I'm thinking, well I'm never coming back here. $59.00 plus some change, no way! Anyway, since they had already started the process of my oil change, I just thought, won't be back. I'll pay for it today, but won't be back! But, when I went to pay it was a bit over $38.00, so that part I was happy with. But, they didn't vacuum my car like they said, they were, and when they checked my wipers they unclipped on of them and didn't clip it back. I feel like they have the potential of doing a good job, but they don't go the full 100%. They go 90%. I just don't feel that comfortable with them. I was told that All fluids would be checked. My brake fluid was about 3/4 empty when i showed up. The check list stated brake fluid was full. When i asked about that false statement the tech said they don't do brake fluid. I wonder what else was not done. i don't know why I paid but i did. There price ended up higher than any place i have ever been. I would not use them again for sure. read more

10 I took my truck in to Jiffy Lube on 10th Ave, Kennewick. I asked upon arrival if they were busy as I had an Dr. appt. in 1 hour and I JUST needed an oil change. They told me I would be out in 20 minutes. Great. Within the next HOUR they hounded me to change everything on the truck. NO. just oil change, they said I needed more oil, better oil and that would be an extra 20.00. My husband usually takes care of the truck. They told me I needed a new air filter I was getting bad mileage, how much? $22.00. I said okay just to get out of there.The next morning I showed my husband the sheet from Jiffy Lube. They charged me 29.99 for the air filter, ($5 Walmart), 20.00 extra for oil upgrade. Total to have my oil changed at Jiffy Lube was $94.18! My husband checked the truck this am and there is no power steering fluid in the truck. Completely empty. Personnel at this Jiffy Lube are trained to scam you not maintain your vehicle.
