My headlight dashboard notification went off so I dropped by the Jiffy Lube by my office, after work. I was made aware that my serpentine belt was so worn out that it was about to break. It could not be fixed at that shop but they referred me to the Lake Oswego Jiffy Lube, where it could be replaced. I called the LO store and the manager, Eric, reassured me that they could get it repaired the following evening (it was closing time when I called). I was on pins and needles for 24 hours, afraid it would snap and I would be stranded on the side of the road at any moment - but that following evening, Eric got the belt ordered and replaced in less than an hour. He also changed out the headlight, which the guy at the other Jiffy Lube could not reach. I can't tell you how relieved I am to be all fixed and everything was taken care so quickly, and for much less than what the dealership would charge! I am very grateful to Eric and his staff, for the great customer service! I am also relieved to know now that that do all kinds of services and not just oil changes. Great customer service is rare & so is affordability - these days - so I am very happy to now have a shop nearby that I can go to for future oil changes and issues with my car! read more

Zach said he could do the brakes on my wife's car. He had the car for more than 2 weeks. He could not source the parts. After bringing her car to a real mechanic I found he left the drivers side bolts loose and the sensor was hanging to the side. This level of negligence could have caused a major safety issue. I would not recommend any mechanic services from this location. Very unprofessional. read more

Had an oil change done, was informed they broke the oil pan. They told me they would order a new at no charge and call me when it was in in the next few days. Never got a call but stopped by. Was told to pull in and the would fix it....they never told me it would be a couple of hours.... Very frustrating when it totally ruins your plans!!! Went in for an oil change. I'm an older female on a fixed income. Person came to my window telling me my transmission fluid needed replaced, showed me the dip stick which had nothing on it. I didn't say anything as I thought maybe he wiped & didn't realize it. I explained I just got it changed but decided to get changed (believing him). When I got home & looked at past records & different in miles was 5,829. Just because they didn't see Jiffy record they assumed it wasn't changed however I have all auto work records. Also paid for brake flush & change however shows as "checked". No Jiffy logo on paperwork & shows Premium Velocity Auto. I definitely wouldn't go here if a female or older. Going to BBB about this. Online I got a quote for $67 for a regular oil change. At the facility on Boones Ferry Rd. in Lake Oswego the older man working there (who was a total jerk) said the price was $75. He said the online price was wrong and he would not honor it. I told him you just lost a customer and I would never come back. He said fine, move your car out of here. Please boycott this company. Didn't have the oil needed for my car so they had me wait over an hour while one of them ran to the store to grab the oil and come fill it back up. Then they charged $120 for a premium oil change when I didn't need it. I also lost an hour and a half that day. Very terrible customer service. Called to ask if Fridays 2-3pm generally are busy vs later. The gentleman responded with sass and said "I can't predict the future." Clearly he doesn't understand the idea of a trend and using it to make an educated decision. He then hung up on me. I took my business elsewhere where they don't treat people like crap. BEWARE!!! Don't go here!!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!! I went here yesterday because I needed my oil changed.. I normally go to the dealership or have my boyfriend do it but due to scheduling it didn't work out. I got my oil changed and afterwards the employee let me know that my rear breaks were completely shot and should be replaced immediately and unsafe to drive. He let me know he actually had all the parts in needed(which is rare since I drive a Lexus) and the proper technician in at that very moment. I called Les Schwab and made an appt for the next day to get my breaks done since I have an account with them. When I went to Les Schwab today they informed that my breaks are perfectly fine and still have half the life in them, they literally looked at me like I was insane. If I could give less than one star I would, beware they are known to scam single women in particular. read more

These guys (and ladies) are great. They are always extremely friendly and helpful. The are informational and don't try to upswell you things you don't need. "Your manufacturer recommends...what would you like to do." "Here's your filter. It looks like it could wait until next time, but it's up to you." "Yes, we do recharge AC, but it's probably OK to wait until spring." I realized there are a lot of things these folks can do that I don't need to get done at my mechanic. I went for an oil change and agreed to get new windshield wipers. They charged over $50 for the pair (twice what it would cost at an auto parts store - and most stores will install for you, I later found out) and they didn't even install them - left them sitting above the old ones on my windshield. I didn't realize this until they nearly flew off my car while driving. I also asked for the blend for 69.99 and was charged the full-synthetic price of 99.99. Overall felt very scammy. read more

1. On 1/22, I had to tell Daniel six times I dont want anything other than conventional oil change using the correct weight of oil as per vehicle specs. While he insisted on ordering me non-conventional oil five more times, he got increasingly hostile each time and wouldnt listen to my request. On the seventh time, I told him to just put in conventional oil with the correct weight as per specs after he bragged about having 10years experience. 2. On invoicing, I gave prepaid code to Joseph who insisted I pay additional $11. I showed the prepay terms and he said it doesnt matter. I showed him that the store was listed as participating store that accepts prepays, and what is included, he said it doesnt matter. I asked him if he intends to honor the terms he said it doesnt matter. He kept trying to convince me I have some sort of gift certificate, but it is a prepay. In the end, he failed to bully me into paying an additional $33 for the Up-Sell to the PrePay. (See photos). 3. I was saddened and disheartened to watch Joseph write down hostile notes on the final order, which I took pictures of. He insisted that I no longer come to this store. 4. I asked Joseph if his store was incorrectly listed as a participating store. He said it doesnt matter. 5. My wife sitting and watching this exchange became distraught and asked why we continue to come here. I shrugged. I am used to nonsensical hostility because of how I look, but she is not. There was one time in recent memory where they (yes, I did not say I) just signed my credit card with a pen swipe (yes, it was just a line) to an invoice with a price that didn't include the discount coupon I got in the mail and presented to them when I came in ... they didn't honor the coupon and I didn't notice until I was well on my way down the street. I let that one go since I needed to move on with my life. But over time, this is the kind of thing that I don't think is good budget management to just let your money leak away like that. I saw it as dishonest. Sloppy at best. And certainly lacking due diligence. This was before I started using PrePays which I am so glad for because now it takes a lot more effort for funny-transactions to just 'accidentally slip-by' unnoticed like during today's experience where I was able to keep both Daniel's and Joseph's attention strictly to my order, using their company's own advertised prices, and without deviation. But with that being said, I am concerned about what would have happened if my wife came in instead - she would have been totally taken advantage of. This makes me wonder how many others were exposed to this bullying up-sell and simply gave-in. I will contact their headquarters at Doorknob Ventures LLC to find out if they truly want to continue bullying customers and writing horrible notes on their shop system for customers who refuse their up-sells, and whether they will be correcting their list of 'participating stores' for the Jiffylub.com 3-pack prepays! I bought my tires at Tire Rack and selected this shop as the installer. Ahead of my tire delivery, I called the shop to check price quote accuracy and best day to come get my tires installed. First call, a saturday, I am told the manager, the only person able to install tires says the rep on the phone, would come later that day and call me back to confirm the price for me. No call back. Great job, staff. You don't know the price of services offered by the business you work at. I call again on Monday. This time I am told the manager doesn't work that day but that he'd be there on Tuesday and would call me back. Tuesday, no callback, so I call again in the afternoon. I am told the manager didn't show up because of unforeseen circumstances. Okay, that happens. I had also received the email confirmation that my tires were delivered that day and tried to ask the rep to confirm if they indeed received the tires, but he had already hung up on me, no bye nothing... Wednesday, I call again. I finally get a hold of the manager. Nice guy. He confirms the price quote, which was $8 more than TireRack's estimate, and tells me I'm clear to come before the end of the week. Friday, I drive two hours from the coast to get my tires installed, arrive at 9am. The manager, who' again is the only person qualified to install the tires, hasn't arrived yet. I leave the car and go wait at a coffee shop nearby. One hour later, the rep calls me to tell me the manager won't come today in the end, that he isn't the most reliable guy. No kidding! Tells me to come back Saturday. What the hell. Granted it's not his fault, it's a terrible customer experience. I go run errands in the area then decide later to come pick up my tires from this shop and bring them to another Jiffy Lube. When I arrive, the rep points me to my tires at the front of the store. I bring the car in, he then attemps to load the tires in the car but my trunk is full, because I was planning to get my tires installed that day, not come back home with them in the trunk. Upon seeing that the trunk is full and that he can't load them, he says he "was hoping that my trunk would be empty". I respond that I was hoping they'd install the tires that morning. He then drops the tires, walks away and yells at me to not come back as he shuts the shop's gate. What is wrong with that crew? What a terrible service and waste of time. I was woefully beyond time to get my oil changed and finally went to Jiffy Lube. I have gone to several different Jiffy Lube shops and this one is my favorite. As usual, they were polite, efficient and worked as a great team. I usually like to wait in their waiting room which is always clean, tidy and has a working TV but in these Covid-19 days I stayed safe in my own car. The place was busy and the new manager Gary was so nice and professional The guys had been really really really busy even though I was in line for 20 minutes. It was well worth it because I've been there many many many many times and every time it seem like nobody knows what they were doing. Gary was trying to teach talk to customers, they even have a new rule. They have to greet a customer within 10 seconds. I went in for a simple oil change and came out with a bolt in my tire. When I approached them about it, they didn't even consider it opening out their location. My tire pressure I had no indication of any issues until I turned my car back on to leave Jiffy Lube. I know 100% that I got a screw or a bolt in my tire at their location and when I called to discuss it with them all they said, was we keep our floors clean. And totally wrote me off. read more

I had a flat tire while delivering packages for UPS 3 days before Christmas. I went to Les Schwab with my car loaded with packages to get my tire repaired , but was unable to get any service that day even though I bought my tires from them and it was clearly urgent. Fortunately, there was a Jiffy Lube down the street. I called Jiffy Lube and the general manager Nick said he could help. I pulled in and Nick had me back on the road in 20 minutes. If you are in Lake Oswego, Oregon and need tire care don't bother with Les Schwab on Boones Ferry Road. Go to Jiffy Lube down the street instead, you'll get far better service. Used my $29 oil change coupon. They cleaned my windows and vacuumed the inside of my car with this oil change service and showed me some early signs of wear on my tires along with showing me my air filter's. They replace my turn signal light for 10 bucks when other oil change places have asked for $30-$55 to do the exact same thing. They weren't pushy and didn't lie to me about anything which is good because I know my cars maintenance schedule and what an old air filter looks like. From now on I won't be getting my old changed anywhere else. Can't beat the price and the level of service. They use protective covers for my driver seat and steering wheel which is something I don't always see happening at an oil change place and a lack of doing this has left my car seat oily and stained. Free coffee and hot chocolate are not very good but they are free so how can you complain? Only complaint I would make is that the waiting area videos were pretty loud but I grabbed the remote and turn them down so no biggie. read more

I'm giving two stars because the woman who accepted my payment was excellent. Unfortunately, at least one of her coworkers was anything but. I brought my 2006 Prius in for an oil change. After they did the usual checks, one of the mechanics came into the waiting area to tell me that in addition to the oil change, I also needed four new tires, my 100,000 mile radiator service was never done, and I needed all new spark plugs, which would bring my total to several hundred dollars. This seemed fishy to me. I just replaced two tires barely a year ago, and with lockdown going on for months, I'm barely driving. So two of my tires are close to new, with very low mileage, but somehow also completely bald? I have eyes, and double checked them myself when I got home. My tires are not bald. Not even the two slightly older ones. He also claimed that my 100,000 mile radiator service was never done. I've owned this car for 5 years, brought it to several different Jiffy Lube locations for regular maintenance, and somehow this guy was the first notice that my radiator service is 80,000 miles past due? I checked my records when I got home. I bought the car from a Toyota dealership certified pre-owned at about 140,000 miles. Yep, the dealership serviced the radiator before I bought the car. The guy was just flat out lying. At this point, I'm thinking the spark plugs needing to be replaced is also a load of crap. He might as well have told me my blinker fluid was low. I did pay for a new air filter, as the old one had a hole in it. Allegedly this was rodent damage, but after everything else I'm not convinced that he didn't just punch a hole in the filter himself so I'd have to pay to replace it. I've been taking my car to Jiffy Lube for years, but this was my first time at this particular location. I definitely won't be back. read more
