Had an oil change on my 2018 Golf last week, went home and saw oil pouring out from under car…read more.. went back and was told that they noted it on my paperwork...never told me in person, re-checked it, and said it was from the timing cover, went home again and saw old drip areas, thought it was reasonable... but still pouring out... took to another shop... they replaced the mangled drain plug and fixed the issue... $145 at Valvoline for the oil change and another $130 for diagnose and repair at another shop.... ***note*** also said my air filter and tire pressure good, yet never actually looked at the air filter or set tire pressures... the drain plug and the oil pan are plastic on this car, the drain plug could have been worn out, just tell me.... Luckily I looked under the car after the service or I'd be replacing an engine....called the manager and let home know what happened, did ask what it would take to make it right, I declined, I'm not looking for free stuff, just that it was right the first time.

I didn't mention his shop name at all, I just needed to come up with a backup plan since this seemed to be going nowhere. Well Jack saw the FB post and called telling me to come pickup my car and he was refusing to work on it. Not once did I mention his shop but after this experience I decided to actually speak about how I was treated as a potential customer here. He called me, scolded me for "bad mouthing him" even though I not once mentioned his business, told me to come get my car, and then hung up on me without giving me the chance to say a word. I was honestly in tears after the phone call.

There was someone else waiting who also had an 8am appt. I realize things come up but when you take someone's phone number when they make an appt, the least you could do would be to call them to inform them you will be closed and apologize for the inconvenience. My husband took off work to have the work done on his truck, so it was a completely wasted day. No work and no front end alignment. I can't recommend this business if you want reliability or common courtesy, but if you like to waste your time, feel free to make an appt.

After not being called back, I call them to be told they couldn't get the part until about the time they close. I explain I can't wait until then I have to work at 8pm and I would pick the car up by 1 before they closed. I was told to hold on she would call the mechanic. I again get no call back, so I call at 1245. This time I get told that they have another vehicle to work on and the mechanic is gonna stay late and work on them. Assures me they will finish and call me. She also gave me a "Mike's" number I could call. 630 I call the number and get no answer or call back. Go by the shop to see my car hasn't moved. Now I need a ride to work at 8 and a ride home at 3am and my car is stuck at shop until Monday when they open. Showed up first thing Monday to be offered no explanation or even a sorry. They hadn't touched a single item on my car in the 3 days they held it hostage
