They also put a 3,000-mile reminder sticker on my windshield while telling me verbally that the oil could actually go 5,000 miles, which was confusing. Most importantly, immediately after the oil change, my instrument cluster display changed. My vehicle no longer shows the distance-to-empty information, and the INFO button no longer cycles through the display like it did before. I returned right away, but the manager simply said they didn't touch the instrument cluster and didn't know how to fix it. Whether or not the issue is related to the service, I expected more effort to investigate a problem that appeared immediately after my visit. Unfortunately, I left without any solution. I won't be returning to this location.

I came into the store last Saturday because my check engine light was on, and I need to get it taken care of before the end of this month as I need to have the car inspected and registered. I was given an appointment for Tuesday at 9am, as Monday was a holiday. I arrived at the store at 9 and gave them my keys, and was given a ride home. Later in the afternoon, I stopped in to see what progress they had made.(I was passing by the store after running an errand, so I decided to stop in.) The person at the desk was looking for the work order, as the car had not been taken in yet. After a few minutes the work order was found. It was at the bottom of a pile of other work orders. I was told that they might not get to it today, but would first thing in the morning. I let them know that I was not pleased with that, but I had no other choice. (the associate was starting to give an excuse that they were busy.) I left and was assured that it would be looked at first thing. Wednesday morning came and went without hearing from them. At about 1:30, I called and told them not to bother with it, and that I would be coming in to pick up my keys. At that time I was informed that they were pulling the car in to the shop. I again told them not to do any thing and that I was on my way to get my keys. At this point I was beyond being extremely annoyed ( I am thinking of another word to express my feelings, but I want to keep this "G" rated.) When I went in to get my keys, the associate at the desk sensed my mood, and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, which I did. The store manager name was Lou Lattray. Before I said anything, he started saying that they were busy, and that I shouldn't have expected the car to be looked at right away. I told him that I had an appointment for yesterday, and he started to say that appointments are not always followed. Before he finished whatever excuse he was trying to come up with, I cut him off. I was not going to get into an argument with him. ( I was once told that arguing with an idiot makes you an idiot.) I took the keys and asked him for the name and phone number of the district manager. He refused to give me the name (as he either didn't want me to have it, or he doesn't know it.) He gave me a phone number, saying it was the corporate number. When I got to my car, I noticed that it had not been moved from when I had dropped it off. ( so much for the lie that they were pulling it in when I called to tell them not to do any thing.) After I got home, I called the number that Lou had given me. All I got was the recording directing me to either the corporate personnel list, a list of the store locations, or some kind of help desk. I left the information that was requested, and the recording said that they would call back. I did not hear from them yesterday, or this morning. At 2:05 this afternoon, I called again. It is now 3:14 and I have still not heard from anyone. I had been going to this store for at least 7 years, with 2 cars. But I will be finding another garage to use. STAY AWAY!! SG

Part of that was due to Kevin, who was always straightforward, honest, and good about explaining options without pressure. Since he has retired, my recent experience hasn't been the same. I brought my son's car in because the blower motor had stopped working. I was charged $160 for an evaluation and then quoted over $500 for the replacement. After looking into the repair myself, I learned that the blower motor for this model is easily accessible through the glove compartment and the part costs around $40 online. The job also does not require removing the dashboard, as I was initially told. I understand shops need to charge for labor and overhead, but the estimate I received felt significantly higher than expected given the actual complexity of the job. Because of that, I chose not to proceed with the repair. I'm sharing this so other customers know to double-check estimates and ask questions. My past experiences here were positive, especially when Kevin was still working, but this visit didn't reflect the level of transparency I had come to expect.

However when I brought my vehicle back, they denied me service stating they actually can't fix the problem at all and recommended a few places. I reached out to the store as I was very unhappy with this resolution and was informed I should call the 1-800 number on the back of my receipt. The number didn't work, but I googled it and found the actual phone number. I filed an initial complaint with Jiffy Lube' Customer service and the store did reach out, but when they realized who I was, they said they can't do the repair. I asked to speak with a manager because I felt like I was being double charged for nothing. He stated that the store manager Gary would be reaching out within the next day or two. I did not hear back from Gary or the store so I called the customer service number once more. But now I'm even more disappointed with their customer service support as I have not even had a response from Customer Support, Gary or Tom the district manager. I feel like I deserve a full refund due to this inconvenience.
