As usual I had a great time visiting the Jiffy Lube on Dorsett. I was able to meet the new GM Dennis, and had the pleasure of meeting the other staff; Kobe and Rob! Everyone was very friendly and the service was quick ! I love coming to Jiffy Lube for my routine oil changes! They always inform me on car maintenance I should have at full service locations. Customer service was good Tires checked they didnt put caps back on. Topped washer fluid, broke cap off new van and left it by windshield. I found it a few days later lucky i didnt lose it. Kinda dissappointed now im wondering what else they forgot. read more

This is the best Jiffy Lube I have ever been to! The employees are so hard working and so kind. I had an oil change and something must have not been tightened fully and when I got home there was a giant oil spot in my new driveway. I came in the next day and the manager took care of everything, fixed it right away, and even took care of the spot in my driveway!! These are literally the kindest people I have ever met and they truly care about their customers. Don't waste your time anywhere else. read more

The swiftness of this location was incredible! The manager was very sweet and had great customer service skills, something a lot of automotive shops lack. I got an oil change from this place for my car on 9/6/2014. These people, as it says in their oil change package,checked my tire pressures too and increased the tire pressures in car over 40 psi (as against 32 which says on the car placard) and also unlike what they mentioned on their receipt (35 psi). A couple of miles after I drove away from the service center, my tire pressure warning light came on. And few hours later on my way back home while driving on freeway (@65 mph) my rear tire blew up. I had to come to a stop in the service lane within 5 seconds. Me and my friends narrowly escaped a fatal accident!! I called the place the next day, and they told me to get my tire fixed somewhere else. And I had to pay $ 135 extra to get my car running. And today when I went to speak to the manager about how he is going to explain/compensate for this, he blamed it on my car tires being old and he has nothing to do with it. I haven't had a problem with my car tires since last 4 months and just the day I get it "serviced" my car tire blows up. That guy even asked me not to try any further to talk to the "Store Manager" as he wont do anything as well. Also, when I told him I am going to write a bad review about the place and never ever choose to get oil change here, he said 'you can do whatever you want'. GUYS! DON'T GO THERE! If I could give this Jiffy lube zero stars I would. I had my oil changed on 3-19 and less than 200 miles after the oil change I had a knocking noise in my engine. I went to the manager of the store and I asked him if they could re-do the oil change. He told me that he would have to charge me for the oil. I asked for the district managers phone number his exact words "you don't contact him, he contacts you" then at that point he offered to redo the oil change for free. I said no. Jiffy lube towed my car to a shop in south county to review my "claim" after having my car for over a week they denied it leaving me in the dark with a busted car. I will NEVER take another vehicle to these people. I hope that you reading this will do the smart thing and stay away from jiffy lube and anything associated with heartland automotive their parent company! I am horrible dissatisfied with their service and unwilling to make this right! read more

Charles did the best he could to help me. I will never take my car to Jiffy Lube again. Shop guy broke the lug nut off my car while rotating the tires. Then proceeded to tell Charles he didn't do it. When they found out he did they told me there was nothing they could do and I'd have to take it to another location to have it fixed. When I got to that jiffy lube they told me It would be 2 hours before they could fix it. This is a complete cluster and I'll never use this company again. Charles and Will are always very helpful. They usually have me in and out for an oil change in 20 min or less. I suggest going in on Sundays since that seems to be one of their least busy times! read more

Apparently, I have to give it at LEAST one star. If I had the option, it would be zero. So here's what happened. We took my wife's car to this Jiffy Lube location for her safety / emissions tests. They told her she needed to have her battery changed. We agreed because we knew that was coming up and figured we'd get it out of the way. The guy comes back in and tells us the car is ready. As we're paying the bill, I notice a bunch of the Jiffy Lube guys are hanging around my wife's car outside. They've got the driver's door open and the fuse box open. I'm not a car guy, but I assumed that wasn't a good sign. After we finished paying, we were told it would be just a few minutes. We watch for about fifteen minutes while they all work on the fuse box and mess around under the hood. Finally, someone comes back in and tells us the car won't start. They think whoever installed the battery did something wrong and shorted out a fuse. And they didn't have the fuse in stock that we needed. They told us that they'd get the fuse, fix the car, and have it ready to go later that afternoon. We gave them our number to have them call us. We didn't hear from them until we called them somewhere around 5PM. Turned out that no one had the fuse they needed, so they were going to have to try to find it the next day - a Sunday. So we waited until about 1PM on Sunday and called them. No update, they were still "working on it." We called again around 4 and were told the car still wasn't running. Whether or not the fuse was the problem was no longer clear. When we asked, we were told by the man on the phone that he wasn't the person working on the car and therefore he didn't know what the problem was. Again, we were told we would receive a call later that day. We never did. The following day, I drove down to the location during my lunch break to find out what was going on with the car since I was tired of playing phone tag. Surprisingly, I was told that the car was being towed to another body shop to be repaired. Not surprisingly, the man behind the counter had no idea what was wrong with the car or what repairs were being done. When he told me he didn't know where the car had been taken, I demanded a manager. The "manager" came in and told me, "Look, this isn't even my store. I'm here from another location, so I don't know everything that's going on." I said, "So you're telling me you've lost my wife's car?" "No, we just don't have the name of the body shop it was sent to." "We never gave you permission to send it anywhere!" I yelled. "How can you send someone's car somewhere, not know where, and expect me to just be OK with that?" I figured there had to be something in their system with the latest status of the car, but I was told over and over that we'd receive a call. After so many broken promises regarding calls, I didn't believe them. But I had to get back to my job, so I had no choice but to leave. Later that day, my wife was finally contacted and told that the car was back at the Jiffy Lube and ready to go. Her father drove her down and she picked it up, and we assumed our troubles had ended. Not so. We've had routine electrical problems with the car since then. I know that I should be fighting with Jiffy Lube to get them to fix it and compensate us for the damages, but frankly, I refuse to leave the car in their hands again. No auto care shop that LOSES A CUSTOMER'S CAR is going to receive the keys to mine again. It is worth noting that we were refunded for the battery installation cost and were offered a rental car. And while I appreciate those gestures, they were completely overshadowed by the fact that they lost track of my wife's car and were never able to really tell us what was wrong with it. To this day, I don't know what they "fixed" to make it work again. But whatever they did, it has caused more harm then good in the long run. If you want a reliable car service center in the area, take your car to Meineke on St. Charles Rock Road in Bridgeton. read more

I'm not really sure how the line system works here. Apparently 3 people can work on one line of cars while the other line just waits. They also don't have safety and emissions inspectors every day but couldn't seem to tell me when they would be here. I was the first car waiting and 2 cars got out before me. Stopped in on my lunch hour for an oil change. They changed my oil, checked and topped off my fluid levels, cleaned my external windows, and vacuumed my front seat floors. I was in and out in 25 minutes. With an $8 off coupon from a coworker, the total was $35 (standard level oil). Very satisfied. Also, they're running a special right now if you go in between 7-10am M-F, the basic oil change service is $27.99. I'm definitely going to be going here again. read more

I had oil changed there today and they got my window down on drivers side after I told them it was broke and leave it alone. Now I have to get it fixed because it is Winter and I park my truck outside. This is a repair I wasn't planning on paying for since it wasn't bothering me rolled up. As I was leaving, one of the younger boys carried my paperwork, he opened and held the door to lead me to the garage, he opened and held the door to go outside and he opened and held my car door for me!
