I came in for a brake inspection and asked for a written evaluation with measurements. The employee initially refused, and only agreed after repeated requests. Once the inspection was done, he tried to charge me $89.99, even though he never disclosed any price beforehand. Their own website clearly advertises a brake inspection for $20. When I refused to pay the inflated price, he dropped it to $50, and finally down to $20 -- which shows they were simply trying to upsell me. At that point, I no longer trusted the service and declined to pay. I also never received the written evaluation I had asked for. When I asked for his name, he refused. When I asked to speak to the manager, he claimed he was the manager, then proceeded to kick me out of the facility. This experience was unprofessional, misleading, and feels like a scam. Refusing to disclose prices, denying written documentation, and hiding employee identities is not only terrible customer service, but also potentially illegal under consumer protection laws. I will never return, and I strongly caution others to be very careful with this location. read more

My mom is almost 80 years old. She spent 40 of those years as an attorney in private practice here in Chicago, Illinois. That did not stop the attendant here from treating her as a complete moron. Eye rolls and gasps and incredulity... this guy looked down on her and flaunted that behavior. They were loathe to answer questions and glared at me when I asked about coupons. I would have taken my mom and found another option if the car had not been taken in already. Mom and dad had frequented this location for ten years but it appears there have been many changes. She said "oh maybe he's just having a bad day! Be nice!" That argument was weakened when the next person was just about the same. It must be a corporate culture. read more

GARBAGE EMPLOYEES and complete scammers. 1. They tried to sell me brakes when mine were only 3 months old (Elantra). They changed my oil and didn't put the nut back on right. I didn't know at first until my wife said she had to go there to add oil because mine was low. I have a guard underneath so I couldn't see it draining but she smelled it. The worst? I paid for a cabin filter, and not only did they NOT put one in, but they took out the door to it. So not only did I have to buy a new filter, but the door for it too. I found all this out when my father in law took my car into his Toyota dealership to get me a new battery. These guys aren't paying attention to what they're doing and are ABSOLUTELY CROOKS! Not sure where the negative reviews came from. My sister and I came to get oil changes a few weeks ago. We both needed oil changes - Christopher was awesome, he was helpful, funny, cool, calm and collected. Mechanics outside were equally as nice. Christopher went the extra mile to show my sister what really needed to be replaced and offered recommendations on keep up etc. Christopher, thank you for the good experience here. Its my third time here at this location since moving to the area. They were pretty busy my first time but still felt like it was done relatively quick. Today i came in for an oil change and had a good visit. Felt really informed about my vehicle and didn't feel pressure to do anything i didn't want. my interactions here today made me feel very comfortable and i will make this my go to spot. Went here to get certified to drive for Uber. They were quick, courteous and economical. I got things fixed that needed to be fixed to qualify for under $35! I was a happy camper. They also washed my windows and vacuumed my carpets, what? yeah! awesome! I haven't used them for oil changes or tire rotations so I'm not sure where they would fall in that category but I don't see why they wouldn't work in that area. They just seemed knowledgeable in what was being serviced on my vehicle. read more

Do not go to this Jiffy Lube. I went in for a regular oil change and the next afternoon while I was driving my hood flipped open and cracked my windshield. Thank God I was not with my 4 month old and Thank God the lane was free of cars. I called the manger and explained what had happened. I had very little faith that they'd try to rectify what happened but then the manager Robert gave me some hope by saying he'd review the surveillance cameras and then take the next step. (FYI a guy named Oscar did the oil change.) My first clue that this was all BS should have been that he wanted me to look on the receipt for the time that I was in. I call him back with the time and he says he'll call me back. Second he calls me back to say he doesn't see my car and asks me again for my last name, and type of car, and again clarification of the time. He then calls me back again and says of course that Oscar closed the hood correctly. What a shocker! I did not expect them to fix anything but I wanted them to know that they're putting ppl lives in danger. Please just go somewhere else. If you ignore this, then just please ask for someone other than Oscar. read more

I have been bringing our cars to this Jiffy for years. They are always quick and efficient. Last week they they took their sweet time. i watched the tech pull my car out of the bay & wait to bring me my bill. The keys were left in the car, outside. I don't mind waiting, but they up charged me for the first time ever for extra oil (the dealer doesn't even charge me that much, they haven't either). When I asked about it, he rudely barked he used more. It never needed more oil before, same car. I asked & paid for a tire rotation & to check the psi. Each of my tires were either over filled or under filled by 5 psi or more. None were filled to what the tech even put on my receipt, or even close to it. The receipt even read the wrong psi to fill to. I paid 30% more then I would have if I just went to the dealer, and am not sure the tires were even rotated, let alone inflated correctly. Like I said, first problem in years for me here. This last text was just a problem. read more

Clean it since it wasn't like that when I came in. Supervisor comes out who looks like he's intimidated by other employees. Offers to clean my interior with Windex. Added pics of the condition my vehicle was left in. No compensation offered and the most insincere apology ever. Avoid this place at all cost. However, I was in the area decided to stop at this location the customer service that offer is amazing as well as the quality of service. I have visit many jiffy lubes in the past and workers seemed very lazy and just doing there job. At this location they actually interact with the customers offer popcorn, water and coffee. Went in this afternoon because a light came on my dash. Came to this location because it was close to Costco (my next stop). The oil light came on 3K miles before I was scheduled so I was concerned. After a quick disclosure of what oil type was needed and asking the right questions, Frank determined that my oil setting was not correctly reset at my last oil change --and reset it right then and there!! I AM DEFINITELY returning to this location and asking for him PERSONALLY..This type of honesty and integrity is refreshing read more

I really don't like when things are inconsistent across the board on Jiffy Lube. I initially gave them pretty good scores on the review, but that was before I realized that they forgot 2 key things, 1 which I was able to rectify right away. I stopped by here on the way into work as it was conveniently on my way and there was no wait. They went over the normal things that they are supposed to during an oil change. What was minor is that they forgot to change the sticker on the inside of the windshield. I ended up going back before the end of the day to get that done. Within a day or so, my Maint Req'd light came on. (Check Engine light also came on, but that is a different story.) I took it over to Auto Zone and they said it was indeed for an oil change (which I had JUST gotten done less than a week before. I went around the corner to a different Jiffy Lube and they were able to reset the light right away. I will steer clear from this one for future oil changes and just get it done near my house in the city. If I do move, then I'll check Yelp for reviews on the other locations. read more

These guys made my day. They really made me smile:) I came to replace en oil and they recommended me to do differential service. Counter guy told me that I have two differential and charged me for two services $59 each. I agreed. Later today I went to Toyota dealership to change transmission oil and they told me that because I have 2x4 Toyota Tundra so I have only one differential:) I feel like a blond from jokes. I called them 4 times to clarify why it happened but nobody picked up the phone. Invoice #18119 Update: Nobody called me. The only thing they acknowledged on Yelp the fact that I was charged for service they never did. They have my address, phone number. This place got worse over the years due to newer employees not knowing how to run a business. Their customer service is sloppy and they are not respectful even after the mistake was made on their part. A customer before me had a big argument and waited 40 minutes only to leave in disgust because he was tired of waiting. Then the employee wanted to stand in the rain to argue with me because I told him that "they used to be better that this".... his response was basically I can go elsewhere. I went to this Jiffy Lube for a regular oil change on 10/29/10. Everything seemed to go well. I drove to Iowa the next day for a wedding. By the time I got back Monday my car was making a weird noise and I could smell fumes in my car, my eyes were literally burning from the fumes. I didn't drive my car again until the following week. I took it to another oil change place on my way home from work because the noise was scaring me. Here is where I found out my car had NO OIL in it because the oil filter was put on wrong and leaked all the oil! So I had been driving around with no oil. You can go ahead and criticize me and say I should learn more about cars so I would recognize this sort of thing, but I don't, which is why I take my car somewhere, to a business I thought I could trust to do the job right. I could have blown my engine! Anyway, I then took my car to Jiffy Lube after the other place put in a few quarts of oil, which I paid for, because I wanted a refund from Jiffy Lube so I could take it back and have the other place finish the job. I didn't want them messing with my car anymore, but they refused to give me a refund. They were nice to me and all, but I was/am so mad that I really don't care. I came to this Jiffy Lube a few weeks ago for a basic Uber inspection of my vehicle. Its a basic outer and inner visual inspection that would have taken no more than 5 to 10 minutes and cost me 20 bucks. This location is in my area and a few minutes drive. I pull up to their location and wait for a "tech" to come out so I can explain why I brought my vehicle here. He tells me that they have a "tech" that solely does Uber inspections but he has gone home for the day. As I stood there trying to shake off my confusion as to why they would have only one guy who does nothing but Uber inspections, the "tech" then proceeded to tell me that the other "techs" were too busy doing oil changes for other customers and they wouldnt have time to do my inspection. I looked over to their 3 car garage. Only one car inside and one "tech" working on that car. Another guy inside not appearing to do much and the guy outside with me. Ok, grabbed my keys and took my business and money to another location. Why offer a service that you dont want to perform? And if none of the other "techs" are trained to do a simple vehicle inspection, why would I then trust them to do a proper oil change? read more

Joined Yelp specifically to comment on my experience at this location. Service was quick and friendly. The manager and crew were very polite. Despite being a weekend, I was in and out of the store in a very reasonable amount of time. Would definitely come back to this location for my needs in the future. By far the best experience I've had at an oil change location in several years. Though this isn't the closest location to my house, I'm happy enough with my experience here to come back. I wish that zero stars was an option. They broke the windshield wiper reservoir on my 5 month old car during an oil change and simply lied about it. I found out as the next day while trying to use the windshield wiper fluid and none came out. I purchased some, put it into the car and it immediately came running out from underneath the car. This was one day after the oil change in which told me that they topped off all of the fluids. They simply cracked it, lied about it and gave me my car back. Mistakes happen and they could have simply said what occurred and fixed it versus lying. I would not recommend this location. read more

Bought a groupon for an oil change here, the groupon said "show the voucher on your phone or print it out and bring it with you" when I got here they refused to accept the version on my phone, and said I had to print it out. Jiffy Lube sets the terms of the groupon, unbelievably frustrating to have them refuse to honor their own terms and conditions. Not going back. read more
