Jiffy Lube, Franklin Street, Michigan City, Indiana 46360 I had an oil change on New Years Eve. Trying to get things done before the year end. Two friendly young men greeted me, took my car and I watched as they checked every area of the car. This was the first time I felt I was getting my monies worth. Through the glass window, I saw them check my lights, tires, treat my windshield with a substance that repelled water, checked the fluids, and vacuumed my interior....that's my kind of oil change. I was also shown the check list. And, surprisingly, they weren't trying to sell me extras....I really felt I had gotten a complete check up. I was leaving for Florida in a month, and was sure that the car and tires were up for the trip.... Good Value. Honest mechanics. read more

I was rolling down Franklin when I got a low tire pressure warning on my Range Rover. I whipped into this place right quick and asked them to handle it. They went to work immediately with no questions asked and no charge. I didn't even exit the vehicle in the rain. It was great to know that companies like this still exist. WOW. Never go here, so many horror stories. The worst lately was how they changed the oil on a customers car and never actually put the new oil in because they are too busy screwing around in the bays to actually care. Tried to take my truck there with my extended warrenty powertrain info and the manager straight blew it off like he never heard of the place, didnt even take the time to call the number on the card. Such violence with the employees and nothing is done about it the aggressor just keeps his job and continues to work. So sad!!!!! read more

It looks like this Jiffy Lube hasn't had a review in a while, and that's too bad. Managers and workers have changed I'm sure, but quality people work there. I just wanted my fluids checked because of a possible issue; they not only got me right in, but they imparted some car knowledge on me! Very helpful as we tried to determine whether I really had an issue or not. Mike and Nick were friendly, helpful and informative AND in no way condescending. I've talked to the manager there before and found him to be astute, friendly and helpful as well. Additionally, they appeared to be training a new person, and she already had a customer-first attitude. Of course, they are fine at changing your oil and checking out your car, but what a great experience to deal with people who know how to treat people. read more

Revised : After stopping back to talk to the maniger he was very tentative to my situationand did his best to resolve my issues. I will be visiting them in the future,to give a second chance. Previous review: have always had great service here untill last week. I took my work car in for over $900 worth of work. A couple days later i had to pullover and get it towed. It appears they forgot to tighten the radiator cap. Lost a gallons of fluid and a tow. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Stopped in for an oil change and told them I was in a hurry. Not only did they take 45 minutes to change my oil they broke two bolts on my air cleaner on my car and left the mass air flow sensor unplugged as well as a vacuum hose to the intake manifold. They were extremely rude and seemed to have guys working there that had ZERO experience. Will NEVER return. Not to mention the woman in the waiting room with me had parts replaced on her Mercedes and they replaced the wrong parts. Totally unkept and unprofessional business. read more

A few years ago, I took my 1997 Dodge Dakota to Jiffy Lube for a transmission fluid replacement. They noticed my steering shaft was loose (and it was, I was aware of this). The JL manager offered to quote a repair for that, so I said "okay". Unbeknownst to him, I could hear him on the phone in his office. I heard him get a price (his cost) of $90. He comes out and tells me, " bad news, that part is hard to find... the best price I could find is $600. And we could install it for $400." I declined. And, the next day, I noticed I was leaking transmission fluid from the transmission fluid pan. I climb under the truck to see what is going on. I tighten the bolts, and find one of the bolts could not be tightened, because the threads was stripped. I will never, ever go to this Jiffy Lube again. read more

Great facility and shop! The team members are very helpful and the shop is in tip top shape! Everything is very cleaned and organized!! Kane is an amazing manager and deals with guests amazingly! They have no idea what first come first serve means, and evidently none of the technicians can drive a manual transmission. I left my car there after they made me move it all around. Took a little walk, timed it at about what an oil change takes. When I come back the manager waves at me as he's having people who just arrived pull around my car which was parked waiting for the bay to be free..........having the nerve to think he is going to waste more of my time. I haven't been there in years and will absolutely not return. The Ricardo guy had my phone number, could have called, then he sees me and still lets people cut me. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

These guys went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did I get my oil changed but they greased my squeaky door, changed my headlight which was impossible to get to, fixed my cargo light and gave me helpful advice on my other vehicle. The manager Ryan and his crew were very attentive and took great care of my daughters car! I had my mother in law go there and she couldn't stop talking about how happy she was. THey went out of their way to make sure her misfire was diagnosed and it saved her hundreds of dollars. read more

They give you a whole inspection of your vehicle and let you know all kinds of things that you may or may not have known. Hmmm! What a shit hole! I came in for an oil change and was taken care of right away. Now a customer came in to complain about a previous serve that he had. It was suppose to be guaranteed. The kid helping me told him that he called his manager and there was nothing he could do. The customer asked to speak with the manager and he was told he wasn't going to be in until tomorrow and there was no way to reach him? Who did you just talk to? So on to my horror story. they took my filter out and it was charcoal black. But when I told him that I had a lease plan vehicle, they put it back it? I have had it changed before, all they had to do was ask me! Then they pulled my vehicle out of the bay into the front and left the hood open. Apparently, they had another customer that was more important and decided to finish my truck outside? WTH! When he was finished on his cell phone, he then thought it would be a good idea to get me out of there. When I was driving I looked at the oil window sticker. The mileage showed 1000 miles less then what was on my odometer for my next oil change! I'm going home! read more
