I had my oil changed here multiple times and each time something would go wrong with my vehicle after. From fluid leaks to engine issues after changing my oil here... it was not great. The cost may be good, and the speed serviced is great, but there doesn't appear to be an attention to detail when servicing the vehicle that ultimately will lead to a shortened lifespan of the car. read more

This location cross threaded the drain plug on my daughters VW Jetta. Obviously did not know until the next oil change interval and she had moved. We had the location she was getting the oil changed at call to let them know of the issue and they said if she was in Missoula they could fix it with a heli-coil (which would have been a temporary fix at best). Other than that they offered no help and said it was only a 3k warranty. Who changes their oil at 3k when you pay 100 dollars for synthetic? Spoke with the manager several times and the owner said they would not cover it. Big financial hit for my broke college student daughter. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I had to come in to get my car checked after driving in from out of state due to a dashboard light coming on. From the moment we go there, the mechanics were welcoming and took care of the car as soon as they could. Much better than the Germantown, MD Jiffy Lube, but that doesn't take much. They did a nice job with my car, got the car in and out. However, a district manager took their credit card machine earlier in the day. The manager had no idea how to process a credit card without the machine. It took forever and in the end he still couldn't get an approval code. I am guessing I will be double billed, or worse, guess we will see. The staff was nice, seem to know what they were doing. Big concern about the overwhelming stench of gas that was in the waiting room. Something wasn't right with something they were doing, thankfully not on my car. They did find me a coupon so I got 50% off my oil change. Gotta like that, hence the 3 stars. read more

Brain on Brooks talked so fast and tryed to over sell the most expensive oil change on my car. Con artist tactic! I told him that my car didn't require the most expensive synthetic even at the dealership or at the other Jiffy Lubes. He refused to give me a cheaper one and told me over and over that they provided more services than anyone else and I could leave if I wanted. Since I had a coupon for $15 off, it brought it down to $85, so I decided it wasn't worth looking around. When I got my car, with all they're special services, the washed windows were streaked in mud (they were clean when I went in) and they did not vacuum anything. It was checked as done on the sheet. I have been going to Jiffy Lube by Larchmont for yrs and I have never been treated like that. Brian is nothing but a rip off artist!!! read more

Marvin appeared annoyed at having to take my information and attempted a shady up-sell on the oil change. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They always try to up sell you on services your vehicle does not need, they treat my husband different when he goes in, very sexist place. They also do simple vehicle inspections and show you there concerns when you leave. One of them was my air filter (I looked at it later to change it myself and it was still new looking, so they showed me someone else's filter...) they marked that my tires looked in good condition. I trusted that for some reason, go on my road trip and have two tires blow out because they were nearly bald. NEVER GOING BACK! read more

Jiffy Lube on Brooks in Missoula put a 5 year old oil filter on my car and didn't even put the right amount in. It was over a quart low. Lube shops do this a lot. Most people that frequent Jiffy Lube don't look under their chassis, so they don't know they're getting ripped off pretty bad. Absolutely a terrible way to spend money. If you can't watch them every step of the way, don't take it in. read more

We had 3 different automobiles serviced at Jiffy Lube on Brooks on a single day. All of them read at least a quart low on oil. No oil registered on one of the dip sticks. The wiper washer fluid was not filled. I am not certain what service was actually performed. The chief operations officer requested we drive a vehicle devoid of oil to the station to verify that we are not lying. Go anywhere else to service your vehicle. If you have no other options, verify that oil was actually changed and filled to the appropriate level. read more

This location ruined my oil pan by stripping the threads and all of the quotes I've gotten to repair it are $400+. I called this location and they said it's not their responsibility since I drove more than 3000 miles... I have full synthetic oil and my manufacturer's recommendation is 9500 miles. I had my oil changed at the location on Brooks in Missoula recently. I asked for my air filter and a headlight bulb to be replaced. The total cost was $133, which seems extremely high, but the main reason I'm leaving a 1 star rating is due to the poor customer service. After driving away, I realized that my headlight still wasn't working. I turned around to double check that it had in fact been replaced. The response I received was "oh yeah, we noticed there were some electrical issues which is why it probably doesn't work. But we did replace it anyway". After realizing there were electrical issues and that my headlight still didn't work, I would have expected them to be honest and transparent and 1) tell me about the electrical issues and sayit still doesn't work and 2) to ask me if I still wanted it replaced before I left the shop after paying $133. read more

Beware!!! Do not go here! I went in and got an oil change. They over filled my car with oil and it messed up my plugs. took it back in and watched them as they had to take it back out. The oil was also straight black and the wrong kind! I ended up having to take my car to the dealership to get another oil change and plugs after I had just spent $59 at Jiffy Lube. I have never been angrier at a company in Missoula EVER. I showed up to Jiffy Lube in a 2010 Toyota Camry that I had just bought from someone that day, and it had been running and starting perfectly. The people there started out by telling me that this vehicle required synthetic oil in it (spoiler alert, it doesn't.) They saw a short blonde woman and thought they could rip her off. But wait, it gets way better than that. They worked on my car for a while, then came out to me saying they couldn't start my car and asked if I had any issues starting it before. I told them no, that I had just bought it but it had been starting and running perfectly before I showed up there. They said it had something to do with the fuel pump or the fuses connected or something around there. They proceeded to "work on it" for a while longer, but about 40 minutes later they told me there was nothing they could do, and they were going to charge me for the oil change. I then watched as they pushed my car out of their shop. I have never been angrier at people in my life. Lucky enough for me, the person I bought it from is a family friend and he is fixing it for me, but they caused hundreds of dollars worth of damage to my car in their shop. Can I prove it? No. But how else would my car that had been running perfectly, that the family friend had just a few hours before and he had running perfectly, just magically stop working? I don't think it's a coincidence that THEY drove it in and then THEY pushed it out. They also barely explained the situation to me, but when my family friend came to help get the car to go work on it in his shop, two guys rushed out to explain the situation to him, and they had changed their story from what they had been telling me. I think they saw me as a dumb blonde who wouldn't understand if they actually explained it to me. When my family friend asked if they had accidentally tried starting it dry, they said no and he could even check the cameras to see, which to me makes them sound like they are guilty of something and trying to cover it up. The family friend said he thinks they completely fried the computer system in the Camry, he doesn't know how they managed to do it, but he says it's the only thing that kinda makes sense. I ALSO FOUND THAT SOMEONE ELSE HAD A VERY SIMILAR EXPERIENCE HAPPEN. So, Jiffy Lube, what the hell are you guys doing in there? No one in my family or friends will ever go there again and I'll make sure of that. read more

In the past, I had my 4Runner serviced at my Toyota Dealership. However, being new to the area and thinking of saving some time and money I decided I would establish a service center for my Toyota. I scheduled an appointment at the Brooks Street location for an oil change and brake inspection/replacement as needed. The Service Writer, Matt spoke very quickly and was hard to understand. They proceeded with the service and inspection. I was then told they could only provided a free brake inspection as long as they did not have to actually take off the wheel and inspect. They could only insect as far as they could look through the wheel for what they could see. Upon completion, Matt said it was recommended that the front brakes be replaced but the rear brakes were still good. At that point, the technician walked in and said both axles were still fine with signs of normal wear. I was shown the cabin filter (which I replaced about six months ago) and without thinking, I agreed to have it replaced. When the bill came, I became painfully aware that they had charged me 50.00 dollars for a Fram filter that cost 15.00 dollars at Walmart. In addition, as they pulled my car out the invoice reflected that the wipers were "Ok". Seconds later, the technician came in and said one of the wipers was torn and they missed it on inspection. Although Jiffy Lube is a major brand, I left there with very little confidence that my vehicle was taken care of. Not to mention how angry I was at myself for trying to save money and letting them rip me off for a 50.00 dollar CA35667 cabin filter. I have learned my lesson and will certainly not return Jiffy Lube. read more

Took my car in for oil change & tire rotation. I always remove any valuables before getting my car worked on. When I got my car back, the antibacterial wipes I keep in my glove box were scattered on the floor and the envelope with my registration & insurance was missing from the glove box. It had been in there before I took it in because I saw it when I removed my CD 's from the glove box earlier. I called Jiffy Lube & spoke to someone who said they didn't get in my glove box & there was no envelope with my registration & insurance in the garage area. He suggested that I had lost it & they didn't get in my glove box, which was an outright lie. I searched my car & ended up finding the envelope shoved up underneath the passangers seat. So I'm guessing some idiot thought it would be funny to hide my registration/insurance card and dump the antibacterial wipes all over the passenger seat floor. Those are some steller people you have working for you I will never take any vehicle to a jiffy lube again. read more
