I went today to get an oil change, the person who helped me with the oil change was really nice and provided good service. However I'm confused because the synthetic oil change was $79.99 plus tax and included free top off fluids and vacuum, but they didn't vacuum anything ? Nor mention anything about the other fluids so that was a bit confusing. Once done another man rang me up and I told him I had the $15 off coupon, once I gave him the coupon I also told him I had a gift card. He responded by laughing in my face? Which was completely disrespectful and unnecessary! He told me we can't combine coupons, I said this isn't a coupon it's a gift card so what's the issue. He began to argue with me about it till finally he called someone else and ended up taking my gift card. I won't be going back to this location because it is really unprofessional for someone to 1 laugh in your face when you tell them you have a gift card. The last time I checked a gift card is still considered money.... this place needs to practice customer service skills! read more

First of all I'm deeply disappointed in the service that this corporation offers. I understand that we all need to make a living but don't take advantage of me because I am a woman or I'm not as knowledgeable in auto parts. If I come and bring you my business it's because I trust you will provide honest service. Jiffy Lube needs an ethics class and how to treat people with respect. I also want to let you know that your people at this location over price everything. You have a sign that reads 28 for an oil change but tell your customers it's 39 when they show up at your location. I will tell you that trying to charge 45 dollars for a cabin filter is disgraceful and the people in charge of this location need to seriously find out why these people continue to do this. Teach your employees to utilize all their knowledge instead of telling customers" I don't know the other guy knows but he's not here". Wrong answer, specially when a person counts on using a gift card or coupon for payment purposes. Cross training would be wise of these people to get. I'm forced to give this location a one star. I will not be coming back here and I find it difficult to think Jiffy Lube is trying to STEAL from people who trust their business. YOU READ RIGHT 45 FOR CABIN FILTER AND THEY WANTED 25 FOR THE AIR FILTER. Googled both and under twenty online. Shame on them. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. I came here to get my oil changed a while back, and the experience I had here was really great. I don't recall the name of the guy that helped me, but he was real professional. I told him what I needed, he gave me the price and the oil change was done speedy fast. They have a waiting room with tv and coffee. He didn't pressure me to buy any other service. Customer service here is above average and so was their work, very clean. I will recommend this place to friends and in the future I would return if I'm in the area. read more

I usually change my own oil but I had injured my shoulder so I stopped in after work for the 1st (and last) time. I parked my car (1st mistake) and walked into the office... oh wait, they don't have one, just,a small waiting room. While 3 tech's took notice of me I didn't want to bother them while they were actually working so I watched from the doorway. Once theater of the 3 wasn't busy, (and wearing a uniform) I tried to get his attention. I assume that saying excuse me while standing to his left appoxemently 3ft. wasn't sufficient because he walked away, spoke briefly to another tech who glanced directly at me then went back to work. After 20 minutes and 2 cars pulling in I called it quits. My wife needed an oil change and our mechanic was busy so we came here. Service was fast. We were in and out in about 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful, suggesting synthetic oil because her car has turbo. They vacuum and clean the windows when you upgrade to synthetic. I went to Jiffy Lube for the first time yesterday. I normally go to Valvoline for my Honda oil changes and when I found they were convincing me I need filters and certain fluids topped off when I really didn't, I chose the Jiffy Lube in Montebello. They guys were great. They were fast, efficient and very friendly. The prices were better than Valvoline as well. I would recommend this location to anyone and I will be going there from here on out for my oil changes. read more

I DON'T RECOMMEND! I noticed when I accelerated the drive after having my oil changed at Jiffy Lube wasn't as smooth, it felt almost rough and wasn't accelerating smoothly. I took my car to the dealer concerned it was my transmission. I paid extra to get it diagnosed, my transmission was fine. I did my research and the wrong oil may have been placed in my car, my car uses synthetic oil. I researched about getting my oil tested I spoke to the dealer, several other auto shops, and auto stores. No one could tell me where I can find a lab or a test kit to test my oil. I had a trust worthy auto mechanic change my oil. The oil was BLACK!! Keep in mind it was one month jiffy lube changed it. After doing my research I was told by several people Jiffy Lube uses recycled oil. I experienced it first hand. And what an expense, spending money to get my car diagnosed and another oil change. My car drives back to normal after I had my oil changed. I hope this helps you make the right decision on where NOT to get your car serviced. read more

I called today to hear their specials. I inquired about their discount and wasn't told the truth. I got there and was refused an oil change by the most disrespectful manager:owner in my life. He told me that I wasn't going to be able to use any discounts because it's already cheap!!! WTH!!! Waited an hour and twenty for an oil change when I was told 15 to 25 minutes. Then I was charged $76.21 when I was under the impression that its was only 27.99 like the sign says and a little more than the for synthetic. I actually had to ask what's taking so long as the forth car that came in after me left the bay. They never even bothered to tell me they didn't have my oil filter and were going to get it. read more

The customer service was decent and the time frame was decent as well. The price and the labor performed were not all that great though. Was told that my oil change would costs 74.99 and that he would give me a $10 discount but when I go to their lobby they have a price list and my service says that it goes for 64.99...not really a discount...on top of that I had a coupon that was mailed to my home for $15 and he didn't want to take it. They were supposed to check my brakes but they just went of of what a computer told them and the vacuuming and window cleaning well were actually bad. Very bad customer service and employee forgot to put oil cap back on I had to go back next day for it. Then the oil was leaking out like crazy I took my car to another place and found out that jiffy lube incompetent employee did not put a gasket in so most of the oil leaked out. I called them and they just brushed me off. Don't take your car there. read more

the guys at this location put a $40 filter in my car that was the wrong size. it was way too big. they shoved it in and charged me anyway. i didn't find out until the next oil change. my new mechanic said they really pulled one over on me. never again! read more
