I've been to this location a couple times for an oil change. Sometimes they are very fast sometimes very slow. It's kind of hit and miss. The people that work there are always nice. If I don't have a coupon I'll Google one and the have always applied it. Oil changes have gotten crazy expensive. They sometimes offer to take money off if you do a 5 star review on google. Which I'm not a big fan of when people do that. read more

Came in for a change of brakes, they told me that I had to change the rotors too and quoted me 500 to which I agree. Fast forward 1 and a half later they tell me that they got one of the wrong rotors and that I had to wait another half hour. After that, they come in again and tell me that's it's 200 dollars MORE than the original quote. So not only did they have the wrong rotors and made me waste 2 hours of my day, but I had to pay 700 DOLLARS, 200 more than the original quote!! I try to not let stuff like this bother me, but 700 DOLLARS?! I'm honestly very upset. And they mention this after it's all done. Like it's no big deal. Like everyone has 700 dollars in their pocket. Life is expensive enough but to get this thrown at you is outrageous. Don't waste your time coming to this place. The unprofessionalism and slow work is insane. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Had some coupons for an oil change so I figured I'd save some of my own time and have them do the oil change on my 2019 Tacoma since it's kinda a pain. Service was costly and took forever because they broke two parts while taking my oil filter off then charged me to replace them. If your techs aren't qualified enough to take parts off without breaking them why am I responsible to pay for THEIR damages? I've been to other locations and have had 0 issues with past locations. absolutely dogshit I had absolutely nothing wrong with my truck for the 4 moths I had it till I went for a oil change and these cucks spilt transmission fluid all over my engine causing it so smoke up my truck then the day after all the sudden my truck wont start because of a unplugged starter cable. Then the next week my engine light comes on for the air gas ratio being off often cause to a unplugged hose this dicks are the most incompetent group of money hungry morons the staff is constantly as smart as a waffle iron which is what I wish to be lobotomized by. I'd rather be stuck in a time loop where I am constantly brutally murdered than go here again. I went here last week due to a tire pressure alert. Pulled in at 6 thinking they closed at 6:30. Turns out they close at 6 during the winter. The assistant manager (Caleb I think) asked me what I needed and once I explained my situation he checked my tire pressures and filled them up without hesitation. Great customer service. This location was a lifesaver today! First of all, they are open on Sunday which is a great thing to remember. My tire had a slow leak in it. The guys at this Jiffy Lube found the problem and patched my tire with no problem. There was no one in line in front of me and my car was fixed in no time. Jiffy Lube stripped the oil plug on my  2016 Ford Explorer. This Jiffy Lube location is the only location that has serviced it for oil changes since I bought it. I had noticed after the previous change that it was leaking a bit of oil. No one said anything to me, and then, during this last change that was taking longer than usual, the manager let me know "that the drain plug was stripped and that they had sent someone to an auto-parts store to go get a new plug to put in." The manager told me that I would need to get the oil pan replaced. I then asked when I could bring it back to take care of it, and she let me know that they don't do those kinds of repairs there. I then asked how they would pay for it, and she told me that they wouldn't. That drain plugs strip all the time. So I decided to take it to the dealer I bought it from because I still have a warranty with them. They said the only way this happens is by over-tightening the drain valve, usually with a power tool, and so it won't be covered by the warranty. Now I am in a situation where I have to pay $1200 to get it fixed because Jiffy Lube, despite being the only place that has changed the oil refuses to take responsibility and fix it. Now I've done some research online, and it looks like this is a common problem for Jiffy Lube. They generally hire in-experienced mechanics, give them power-tools and poor training, and then do anything they can get out of paying for mistakes they make. DON'T TRUST YOU CAR WITH JIFFY LUBE! read more

I have always gone to Jiffy Lube. Sometimes I get charged a little more. Sometimes I get charged just right. Sometimes I get lucky and have a coupon. Point is, I go back bc of the service. I originally had gone to the location in Sandy off of 700 S. However, I was also looking for tires and I was referred to THIS location in Midvale. Caleb helped me, and the service I received was outstanding. He asked me what specifically I was there for, asked what concerns I had, etc. I specified that I was on a budget BIG TIME but I needed tires in a bad way. Caleb came through for me. He found tires within my budget, and the ONLY draw back was that they had to be special ordered. Definitely recommend. read more

I've been to many Jiffy Lubes. I get an oil change every few months and am usually in out in a matter of 15-20 minutes. Came into this Jiffy Lube and I've been waiting for 45 minutes and they have not started. This is by far the worst experience. There's about 6 staff members walking around here doing nothing. The only person I see actually working is Brooke (I think I read the name tag correctly) the manager. Everyone just keeps pacing back and forth. I think maybe they are all in training? Who knows, but I shouldn't be waiting a whole hour now to get an oil change. read more

Nice guys and fast oil change service. BUT they took my cabin air filter out to do the standard "this is dirty and you should replace it" spiel aaand i said no thanks. When they were done with my oil change i left and arrived home to see they had left the filter on my passenger side floor and hadn't reinstalled it. Greattt. So wouldn't recommend them for much, that lack of attention to detail scared for what else they may have forgotten. Eek. Positive note is because the shop was closed i learned how to reinstall my filter thanks to youtube. Would not encourage anyone to go to this location. read more

Was asked if I wanted to upgrade my oil change service and that it would be an extra $20 (usually $25 service ) and ended up getting charged $30 for it and lied that my transmission fuel was low to try and get me to pay for that service as well. thankful for the quick oil change but not happy at all for the ripoff. read more

Went in for a regular check up/oil change/fluid refill/etc. The next day I get gas and decide to check my oil despite having it just changed. Noticed that there was ZERO coolant in the container. Went right back over to them and their initial response was that it "wasn't part of their signature service and it's an additional $$"...... well that's fine but you need to charge me for it and let me know I was not only low but empty! Got my receipt to check to see if they checked it and they had marked it FULL. I also noticed they had put 5W-20 in instead of 5W-30 like my Jeep requires. To their credit they were very nice and immediately fixed both things in about 10-15 min. But completely leaving the coolant empty?! No thanks, I'll find somewhere else next time.... read more

My wife brought her Jetta in here because her rear breaks were grinding. She was told that she needs all new break pads, all new rotors, and all new break calipers. The quote was around 700 dollars. When she got home I took the tires off and breaks apart myself. All rotors and calipers were in great condition and all that needed to be replaced were the rear break pads. Cost me around 30 dollars. If you want to be lied to and swindled come to this jiffy lube. I would highly recommend going anywhere else. read more

I used to really like this location, they had competitive rates and were conveniently located. However, my experiences with this location particularly have pushed me away. This weekend I went in for a tire service. After leaving, I hopped on the highway and noticed the hood of my car shaking violently. I had to pull over, which is not safe, to check on it. The hood of my car was popped!! They forgot to close it and I called them to see what had happened since it was a tire service. They accidentally popped my hood looking for the E-brake (I have a pull up e-brake in the center of the car). Then they forgot to close it. They apologized and told me the manager Brooke was to call me the next day. I didn't receive a call. I'm disappointed in the negligence of the staff and will no longer be bringing them my business. Its sad, but my safety is more important. read more

I drove into work last month and my car began overheating as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. This Jiffy Lube location is in the general vicinity of where I work and I didn't want to drive the car very far for risk of it overheating again so I took it over there to get checked out. I was told that my coolant was low and one of the caps was a little warped but they confirmed that there were no leaks. They topped me off and fixed the cap and sent me on my way. About 4 days later my car overheated again as I pulled into work, so I took it back over to Jiffy Lube to get it checked out. They confirmed again that there were no leaks and that it was just low coolant again which could've been a result of a "burp", getting mixed in with air when they topped it off the week before. They sent me on my way. I got about 300 feet away from Jiffy Lube before my car just shut off at the light. After a few attempts it finally turned back on and a car next to me told me that I had fluid spewing all over the place in the front of the car. I pulled back into the station so they could recheck it a 3rd time where they determined that there actually was a small leak from one of the hoses. They switched out the hose and sent me on my way. On my way home from work that same day the car overheated again. I took it to an actual mechanic where they were able to determine from their first diagnosis that the water pump was broken and needed to be replaced and that's what was causing the overheating. This was determined by a simple pressure test. Jiffy Lube had looked at my car 3 different times in the same week without being able to determine the real issue which could cause major damage to the engine after the car overheated on a few separate occasions. I spent money fixing items that weren't even the root issue of what was going on. I'd be cautious not to take your car here for any reason other than to get an oil change. They seem to struggle with diagnosing other issues. read more

I'm writing this review in hopes that this helps others not go to another Jiffy Lube again. I'm incredibly displeased with their lack of professionalism, honesty, and loyalty to their customers. I just took my car to get an oil change, and when I returned to pick up my vehicle they stated that the previous vendor placed my bolt in too tight, to which Jiffy Lube broke my oil pan, and then stated I needed to pay for it. After a long discussion on the matter Jiffy Lube continued to place the blame on someone else, even when they stated they had broken the oil pan while taking off the bolt. I asked them kindly to let me have my car so that I could take it to my mechanic for the mistake they had made, since they weren't making an effort to fix the mistake. Once I got back in my car the cab smelt of cigarette smoke. I then went back inside to ask them why this was the case, and their only reply was, "We could give you an air freshener." So now I need to go get another oil change, replace my oil pan, and get the awful smell out of my car. I do not know how you are still in business.
