We went in yesterday for an oil change, fluids check, brakes check and tires check. We pointed out that our check engine light has been coming on from time to time. Alan the mechanic was extremely thorough and soon found that our brake linings were heavily scored because of a broken brake caliper. They replaced all the associated parts and charged low prices for their very professional service. We were very impressed with the three men we dealt with, Alan, George and Edward. Went here a cpl months ago because ... well ... the obvious ... I needed an oil change quick. Unfortunately I got what I paid for - an overpriced-sub-basic oil change. These guys forgot to replace my coolant cap. My husband checked things out that night, noticed it was missing and I called to speak to someone. I was told they would call me back after checking the cameras. Needless to say they ended up being unresponsive after that and I never got my cap back. I had to pay $20 to get a new one ... so add that to my total Jiffy bill. I will not return. Sharing my incident so it wont happen to the next;) read more

After the service they let me sit there for an extra half an hour because they couldn't get the service light to turn off, (It wasn't on when I got there) then they told me to drive to La Quinta Jiffy Lube because they couldn't figure it out. Once I got in my car there was oil on my steering wheel, Later saw oil on my door, hood, and side mirror. They didn't have the air filters needed on hand for the engine or the passenger compartment. Overall pretty poor service, they need to communicate better internally, no one seemed to know what was going on. (Or cared to ask) read more

I took my mother in laws 2015 Prius, with 50,000 on it, for an oil and filter change back in June of 2023. My son ended up with the Prius in Jan of 2024. At the beginning of Sept 2024, after about 1500 miles, he decided to do his own oil change on the Prius. This model has a metal canister with a paper element/filter that goes inside. After removing the metal can, he saw there was NO paper filter inside. THAT is not an accident or a mistake. That's simply criminal FRAUD. FORTUNATELY we found this fraud out before too many miles we're put on the motor. read more

Came in last Monday to do an oil change. Service and staff were amazing, just one small issue with a staff member smoking on the job. Maybe he was on lunch but why on earth would you work on a vehicle under any influence? I was waiting inside with my partner when we saw a tall young gentleman with glasses outside just smoking like nothing is wrong with this. Do it on your own time at home or car but not while working. I went into this jiffy lube for an oil change on a Saturday and since then I've been hearing noises from my car, but I didn't think much of it. Until this morning it was louder and I pulled over to look under and apparently the bottom of my car has been dragging. They didn't put it on correctly. I was on the freeway this whole weekend , that could have fell completely off and caused an accident! So I go back this morning and I let the guy know and all he said was oh ok well look at it, then he starts helping the lady that came AFTER me . That upset me so I left. Came today to get my oil changed. My truck/trailer combination has been to this locations multiple times with no issue. Today I was told they had a NO trailer policy. Then Daniel(assistant manager) said, "well, if you want you can pull in but would have to back out". I told him it would be more risk backing a short wheel base trailer than pulling straight forward like I have several time before. He said it was back it out or nothing. The absolute nicest team at this Jiffy Lube. This was my 17-year-old's first oil change experience. They were fast and efficient But the thing that struck me was when they found out they were servicing the car of a young person, they took extra care and gave her a deal. Worse customer service I've ever experienced. The staff is poorly trained and they surely will damage your vehicle. They have hundreds of complaints through the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and I don't know how they're still in business. They've been charging me nearly $100 for an oil change and I went to my actual dealership the other day and they charged me $35. Save your money, save your vehicle, and do not come here! Due to Jiffy Lube's employee's negligence, damages of around $1,000 occurred to my vehicle after a routine service at this Palm Desert location. After Abran Donnell, the regional manager, promised to compensate me for the damages since the Hyundai Dealership deemed Jiffy Lube as ultimately responsible, he conveniently went ghost and has become completely unresponsive forcing me to file a formal complaint with the BBB. DO NOT GO HERE! Save your vehicle and take it somewhere else. They do not know what they are doing, their staff is undertrained, and their management is blatantly unscrupulous. I've done business in Los Angeles for the past 15 years, and these employees of Jiffy Lube Palm Desert including the regional manager Abran are the shadiest characters I've ever dealt with. read more

Had called the day prior to inquire about a oil change for my daughter's KIA and spoke to Joe who answered all my concerns and when I inquired about any promotions he told me about a coupon on there web site for the synthetic blend. The next day I took in my wife's New Mercedes for its first oil service that the dealer quoted me 500.00 plus... Joe and Daniel quickly attended to the car and with my 20.00 coupon my full synthetic six quarts and same fluid top off service and misc inspection was under 100.00 bucks! I told him that my first transaction was successful and they said no it would've showed on their cash register so I gave them another card and they charged me again a few dollars less $595. Visited 5/6/24 to get an oil change only to discover that this location was out of non synthetic oil. Seems odd that an oil change service would run out of oil on a Monday afternoon. Went in there Thursday morning. Full synthetic oil change, they said. Only one other customer but still took 20 minutes! Then they tell me they can't give me a receipt because they have no printer paper. They said they would send it by email. Never received. I called him and said he does not have access to check if my email is correct. He said that I should have the emails receipt within an hour. Receipt never received. Now I have to call them back again and waste a bunch of time. I paid cash. Think about that. How hard is it to give somebody a goddamn receipt! If they can't even figure the receipt system out how do I know the even changed my oil with the correct synthetic oil? Also it took way too long. Valvoline oil center in Redlands: I'm in and out in 10 minutes. Not impressed at all. Also even if you tell them you have the online coupon they will charge you full price without the coupon, $20. Double check your receipt if they give you one and make sure the discount is applied. read more
