Came in for the Signature Service Oil Change, which apparently doesn't exist anymore. The guy said they changed it to Value Oil Change, which isn't on their website. Unlike the Signature, they only do the oil change and wipe the exterior windshield. That's it. They still let me use the coupon which gave me $20 off the synthetic, but it still cost me $70 not including taxes. Not sure why they'd switch up the services without telling me beforehand that the Signature Service doesn't exist even though I showed him the coupon before driving in. The service was fast, but I'm annoyed I didn't get all the services the website said I would be getting, like all exterior windows cleaned and interior vacuumed, or tire pressure filled, liquids topped off. read more

My dad recommended this Jiffy Lube to me, and I had taken my car here once before. I wasn't a Yelper at the time but thought I would pop on and share my most recent experience. I loved the COVID safe feature of being allowed to stay in your car while the technicians performed the services. Everything was COVID safe. I came in for a routine oil change. I had waited way too long to come in for an oil change and they gave me a few options rather than just trying to get me to spend more. I felt the freedom to completely made my own choice and not feel pressured one way or the other. They changed my oil, topped off my coolant, refilled my tires, checked my basic engine operation/electrics, and let me know that I was going to need to replace my air filter soon. They offered me the option of going to a place like Pep Boys or buying it online and bringing it back to install it for free. It is always very important that no techs, mechanics, or specialists talk down to me because I am a woman. I have experienced this MANY times over the years with anything relating to car maintenance. There has never been a hint of that at this location. I believe the shift manager was named, Tony, and he was awesome. read more

They were patient, kind, and went above and beyond to figure out what was wrong. As a woman, I'm used to being treated like a child who can't understand anything but these guys were respectful and explained everything clearly. They even offered to refunded me my money from the initial visit because it bad taken a few visits to finally pinpoint the issue, but they never gave up and were always happy to help. There is something shifty about this place. This is second time I have come here for an oil change and had problems. The first time, when I started to drive away, I noticed that the mileage sticker that they put on my window to come for the next oil change was way off- by tens of thousands of miles. When I pointed it out to them, they were nice enough and changed it. Honest mistake, I thought, and didn't think any more of it. I also asked them to rotate my tires but they told me they would do it the next time. Now I come in for the next oil change and the same thing happens again! I go to drive off and I notice the mileage is obviously not from my car and it is wrong on the invoice as well. When I pointed it out to them this time they went through a whole rigamarole giving the wrong bill. Swiping my bank card twice and giving me an invoice that belonged to somebody else. They then charged my card again- now at a higher price and assured me that the first charge was refunded to my bank. When I look at the receipt that they gave me for the refund, it has somebody else's name on it! When I pointed that out, the guy said, "it doesn't matter, this is your proof that we refunded your card" (!!!!) I drove off feeling irritated and confused and not even sure if they put the correct synthetic oil (which is more expensive) in my car, or put conventional oil (according to the first charge which was less)??? I drove back to double check and the attendant who was helping me was not there. Instead, another guy who witnessed the whole thing acted like he was doing me a favor by answering my question and was not at all friendly. I still left the shop feeling unsure what oil they had given me. Then when I checked with my bank- sure enough I was charged twice and no refund. I have filed a claim with my bank to have the charge removed. As for not rotating the tires, the second time I come in, he tells me I need new tires. When I went to the tire shop they told me - well you really should rotate your tires more! LOL!!! Jiffy Lube wouldn't rotate my tires even when I asked them to and would have paid for the service! Don't ever go to this place!! Not good, according to all the other bad reviews as well! read more

I love coming to Jiffy Lube because it's quick and efficient! As soon as I got there they attended to all my needs. It was super fast and seamless. The team was amazing, all I needed was an oil change but I did mention my air conditioner started to give off a weird smell so Tony checked to see if they had it and they didn't but he saw another near by jiffy lube had it. He went the extra mile to drive there and pick it up for me and brought it back to replace the filter. That is A1 service right there, which you don't get everywhere. Amazing service and people. I had gone to a Midas for an oil change initially. A couple of days later, a giant pool of oil had leaked from my car. This was a Sunday and of course Midas wasn't open. I took my car to this jiffy lube location. I was helped by Frank. He and his associate Tony took a look for me after I explained the situation. Once they popped the hood and looked underneath my car, they knew exactly what had happened. Frank explained everything to me. They made sure my oil wouldn't leak anymore and even told me what Midas should do for me when I take my car back to them. They even topped off my oil and coolant as I had lost a significant amount from Mida's mistake. It was an extremely dangerous situation for the engine. Although the staff was nice, the quality of service seemed to lack detail. I know the place is about fast efficient service but as I drove off, my glove compartment fell of it's hinges (that's how they reached the air filter). I drove back and they sorta fixed it but I pointed out that there appeared to be a gap when closing. They said it was missing a piece and was like that before. Unfortunately for them, I took my car to a full mechanic for my next oil change and pointed out the glove compartment. There was a time in my life when I had a schedule that facilitated me changing my own oil. A trip to the automotive store, an hour in the driveway, and a couple of cold beers was all I needed to get another 3000 miles out of my Dodge. These days, I am both empowered and humbled by the combination of additional income and a complete and utter lack of time, such that a trip to an oil change business is how I get the same job done. This Jiffy Lube, close to Pasadena City College, is one of the better locations in my book. They rarely try to upsell you on an air filter or a rear differential, and simply - - get this - - change the oil while you sit there drinking their coffee. Granted, it used to cost me about 15 bucks to do it myself, and Jiffy Lube's retail price is about 60. While you're sitting there in the lobby, you can usually find a coupon online to save $10-$20 off the job. I used my $10 off Yelp check in and they did not even bat an eye. As a bonus, you don't have to figure out where to drop off your used oil, or feel that pang of guilt for throwing an old oil filter in the trash... And eventually, a landfill. Art, one of the techs, is a good guy, and does an honest job. On my last visit, I had my one and a half year-old son with me, and they got the job done in 10 minutes. I had such a great experience at this locations simply because the gentlemen who helped me wasn't trying to push me to pay for the most expensive oil change option since my car is old. More importantly, I was able to use a coupon without being told I need to print it out, which is bogus that I was told that at another location. The waiting room was comfortable and I was out in record time, which is nice. I did have to replace my oil filter and it was need to see that it was actually dirty as they brought the part to me so I knew what I was paying for.
