Terrible Service!!!! They put the wrong oil plug (not metric) on my Volvo and then said it was already damaged when I brought it in. All the oil drained in about 24 hours. I tried speaking to Dennis the District Manager but he never called me back. I thought they stripped the threads on the oil pan but it turns out they couldn't figure out the plug they put on was for another car. I lost over $200 repair/labor and $113 for the oil change. - Run from this place! read more

I would give 0 stars On May 29, 2022 my 20 year old daughter took her Prius in for an oil change at store #2085 2921 N 32nd St Phoenix, AZ 85018-6801 franchised by Robert "Bob" Bove. She has regliously taken her car in for oil changes and top offs at Jiffy Lube locations. She was driving home ( from Phoenix to Surprise ) and she heard a loud boom like a tire blew. She checked her tires and they were fine. She drove the rest of the way home with her car making a clunking noise. She is not mechanically inclined and she was alone so she did not think anything of it. She had it inspected by 2 different mechanics at 2 different repair shops. One of them being a Toyota speciality shop in Surprise. Both shops and mechanics told her and gave her written documentation that because that Jiffy Lube location did not put adequate oil in her car, that she has rod knock and her engine is blown. They were also putting the wrong oil in for the last 2 years so the sludge built up. Her Prius has 168,000 miles on it. Had they been doing what they were suppose to do as "TRAINED TECHNICIANS ", her engine would be fine. They are refusing to fix her car. They say it's not their problem. Do not take your vehicle to any jiffy lube especially this one. I thought they were a reputable company but after looking up all of the reviews on them on different websites and realizing how many people have problems with them I will never go to Jiffy Lube again. read more

Mid November (2023) I had an oil change done by this jiffy lube (32nd street in Phoenix, AZ). Today is January 2, 2024. My vehicle sticker from Jiffy Lube states I have 3000 miles before my next oil change is due!!! Today the low oil pressure indicators came on twice!! I have never experienced this in the last 13 years of service with Good Year Tire no matter the location!!! I will never again ever receive service from Jiffy Lube. I caution anyone to proceed with caution before using this location or any Jiffy Lube. If there were any underlying issues they would have been presented to me in my Nov visit. I called in to make sure they had the filter for my car as I knew it might be one they didn't stock, they said they had one so to come in. Well wouldn't you know it that once I arrived, they said that they just used it 20 minutes before me.....yeah, likely. So I came back the next day after they received in another one. they changed the oil and I was about my way. The next day on the freeway I heard this awful grinding noise and my skid plate had come off and was scraping along the freeway, they had not secured it back in place. I went back and they apologized and said that I really didn't need it, and they could just offer me a free oil change next time instead of replacing it. NO, I asked them to replace it and they agreed. He said to come back in 3-4 days and they would have it in. A week and a half has gone by now and I keep getting the run around about the manager not being in, and delays in getting the part. There were only 2 men working due to Covid illnesses however they got me in & out in about an hour. The manager, Shawn Wyble was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Came here to get an oil change while passing through Phoenix for a road trip. The oil change was a bit pricier than most places, but they were the only place that could get it done in 20-30 minutes, and we were able to cut costs a bit by looking for a coupon on the jiffy lube website! Not sure why the low ratings because I take both my cars here for oil changes regularly and have always been really happy. I have an infiniti and a Jeep and they have taken good care of both and even looked at my car and given me an honest opinion when I wasn't having a service done. Recently my car had low air in the tire and I took it by there and they showed me exactly what was wrong and that it was going to pop soon, probably saved me from a bad potential tire blow out and even though he didn't have my tires I needed in stock directed me to a place around the corner that did. I needed an oil change reeeeaaaally badly (i know, but i have a honda and those things can run on gas fumes for 30 miles and oil resin for months) and had had an OK experience at the danny's family on HIghland (free wash with a oil change, who doesn't love that?) But. I checked the Danny's site and saw no promotion of the wash and didn't want to drive out of my way for nothing. i checked yelp and this Jiffy Lube had the best rating i could expect for an oil change place and was up the road from work. Downloaded the coupon (thanks for the tip, Kym) and was on my way. Pull in and i tell the guy i want the "Signature" change which includes window wash and floor vacuum, mentioning my $5 off coupon. He said that they were already running a special that was $13 off the $35 price so i said a-ok, cowboy. i wait for about 8-10 minutes in the small waiting room (bonus for having a Phoenix Magazine in the stack of Muscle Car Monthly, Oil Today and Antennas Weekly - look, just because i'm getting routine maintenance on my car does not mean i'm INTO cars). I get pulled into the garage area for the "spiel" everybody dreads but it was surprisingly short and non-pushy. (i'm glad they don't drag you over to your engine anymore, that's totally lame). i do have to note that he tried to tell me my right front blinker, my left back blinker and my license plate lights were out. i had JUST gone to Checker to replace my left front blinker light and went through some extensive light checking and so found this news odd. i kept saying as much, and he kept insisting and i was about to ask to see for myself when he calls out to another worker "Hey, was that the honda with the lights or the jeep?" the other guy says "the jeep." however, there was no other car in the place. hmmmmmmmm. OK, so i pay up ($24 altogether with a tax or fee or something added in) and go back into the waiting area while they finish up. I decide to use the bathroom -- and this is where the they lost two stars (this was, up until then, quite possibly a four-star experience - wait, two stars for a bathroom, you ask? oh, you just wait...) the bathroom was filthiest thing i have seen in my life, and i've been to some raunch truck stop pee holes. literally, piss, in the bowl... i get in closer and i shit you not (pun intended) four shit smears in the bowl as well (yeah, i counted). two rolls of TP hanging out on top of the dispenser, each with one square left on them. realizing i need to sterilize my hands from just walking into this mess, i discover no soap or paper towels (not very surprising). as well, hair clippings all over the sink, like the guys are trimming their moustaches on their break. un-freaking-believable. i am still haunted by this bathroom experience. but car's running great! read more

Do not go here! I support Jiffy Lube like you would not believe but I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO NOT GO HERE (NOT THIS JIFFY LUBE)!!! They purposely damaged my tire to spite me!!! Yesterday morning, when I got an oil change, I was encouraged to upgrade to a higher quality oil - I declined. When I was encouraged to change my air filer - I declined. When I was encouraged to change my cabin air filer - I also declined. It came to a point of forced upgrades where I literally said, "I just want an oil change and I have to go." This morning I noticed my front tire was WAY low of air (they checked it yesterday). I filled it asap but noticed air seeping uncontrollably through the valve. I took to to a Goodyear (on Indian School) and they said, "The only way this can happen is if someone loosens it. There is no way it can come unloose by itself. The pressure is too high." They even asked if I, "...had any enemies." When I told them, "No, but I did get an oil change yesterday at the Jiffy Lube on 32nd they replied, "This isn't the first time dude. About once every few months someone comes in with this issue from that Jiffy Lube." Enough said. I know corporate people at Shell Oil and jiffy Lube. They are great people and they have supported my business. I will always support Jiffy Lube but never (again) this franchise or their staff. They put my family's safety at risk for juvenile redemption because I would not buy an extra air filter. Do not go here - ever! P.S. I went here today for a basic oil change. Service was good and I had no problems. They did all of the initial "checks" and whatnot and then they brought me out to go over the results. My only issue here is that when they were recommending something, they just assumed you wanted to have it done and didn't ask. I need a new air filter - they even brought it over to show me. He just added it to my virtual "cart" on their system. I had to tell him that I didn't want to have it done right now. He gave me the look like, "What are you thinking? This needs to be done." No thanks, I'll do it myself. The oil change was $34.95 and I had a $5 off coupon. I was there on a Thursday and there was no $10 off deal so maybe that's a discount of the past... I went to Jiffy Lube recently and I decided that I like it. I used to never go because I felt like they ripped me off. They say that they check all levels, tires etc. but you never really know if they do, do you? Well I had my boyfriend check a few things after going there and guess what? They actually did what they said! Shocking! It cost me around $37 for the oil change and all the accompaniments, but they also vacuumed my car and washed my windows. Nice. If you go on a Thursday, they will give you $10 off too, so that's always a bonus. Just don't go during lunch or you will be waiting in looong lines. read more

I came into the location at 12th St/Northern in Phoenix on Sunday July 8th, at 1:10 PM. I asked about time/cost for an AC recharge for a 2007 Focus. The service rep told me "about $105" and "about" an hour. That all seemed very reasonable. I checked into Facebook a few minutes after I went into the waiting room. I am a reasonable man, "about" an hour is a little flexible. However, when they hadn't touched my car by 2:30, I started asking a few more questions. Again he said he should be able to get to it in "about" 20 minutes. At 2:50, I asked again, and this clearly irritated the same person. I asked him why he had so grossly underestimated the time; had he just been honest, I wouldn't have wasted his time, nor mine. I am on a short schedule today, but there is NO occasion when I would be willing to simply double the wait time I was told, so that the clerk could give a more favorable estimate, regardless of fact. The local franchisee posts information in the waiting room, and since it is Sunday, there was no way to contact them, but I will forward this message, and reach out to them as well. I spent an hour and a half in a stuffy waiting room for absolutely nothing. There are too many businesses out there willing to take a consumer's money, to put up with one so grossly misleading, then insolent to boot. In short, the guy was a d*ck, and I am going to do everything I can to make sure people know it. read more

I've gone to this location for simple oil changes for years. Two out of the last three oil changes I've had here have left a pool of oil in my driveway. You've got to be joking. Based on how quickly they were able to stop the leak without issue the first time, I can only hope that they're just idiots who don't know how to do the job that's in the name on the sign on the building. I'm a guy that doesn't play with my time or other people's time so I got there maybe 20 minutes before they opened and sat there, walked in at exactly 9am as it says that's the time they open at to ask for prices and time to be received by a guy with bad attitude saying that are not open yet so I asked at what time they opened and he said when the doors are open which is about now, keep in mind it was already 9 so I walked out, waited for the doors to open which should've happened before 9 but they were open a minute after I walked out, he could've easily helped me when I was there. I then asked for prices and was surprised when I was told that for an oil change they charged $98 + taxes which is a high price for an oil change and although I could afford it I decided not to pay that much for something I could get a lot cheaper somewhere else and also be treated with an attitude, I wish I would've asked for his name, all I can say is that he opened, he's African American, long hair and wears glasses. Quick and helpful service for an oil change. I have an SUV and I get the recommended synthetic oil upgrade. I also opted to change the air filter since they were running a special. I was in need of a quick oil change for my 2018 f150 eco boost twin turbo with 54k miles as I want to leave for my Road trip NOW. 1:45pm 109 degrees out.... I pulled in and Shawn the manager was johnny on the spot. While they were writing down my info I googled 20$ off coupon and that was applied. 10 mins shawn informed that my air filter may need a change next go around and that my truck was In great shape. Not attempting to up sell me They topped off all fluids checked tire pressure and cleaned my mirrors. Then at the end he mentioned any jiffy lube will top off any and all fluids for the next 90 days. First of all, I can't understand how a service center has hours that close at 5:30 and are closed on Sunday's. Most people work. However, if you list you're open until 5:30, you better honor it. I busted it from the office, pulled up at 5:28 and two guys were standing in the bay's talking. They looked at each other, one walked to the doors and started rolling them down.
