I decided to take my Land Rover to Jiffy Lube on Sunday because my dealer was a far drive and I had a lot of things to do. This place scams customers especially women. I knew and heard negative things about places like Jiffy Lube, but I guess I went against my own feelings and still went because I was short on time. I was first told that it would cost $126.00 for an oil change because they can only put synthetic oil in my car. I was ok with that since that's what I normally put into my vehicle. The auto service guy kept iterating, you have an expensive car. He must of said it 5 times. He said were not allowed to use any other oil for this car. He also said we only sell packages. I said, all I want is an oil change! he said then you have to buy a package. I told him that the oil rates for Jiffy lube were to high. The auto service guy said let me give you a 25.00 discount. He gave me the discount and had me look at his screen that said my car needed 9 qrts of oil. I will be honest, I didn't know how much oil my car took, so I went what he said ..9 qrts of oil. My total came to $101.00. I left after this oil change and after he applied this Ghost discount. The next day I went to my Land Rover dealer to have something checked out. I should of just waited to have services done at the dealer, but I was impatient. The Land Rover associate told me my car can only take 7.75 qrts.(8max) I was so upset because I paid more than an extra qrt to jiffy Lube because their bogus screens showed otherwise. I must of had stupid written on my forehead that day. I called Jiffy Lube spoke to a rude associate named Edgar that lacked asst. management skills he was sarcastic and demanded I bring my car to him. When pigs fly Edgar! Then I asked for the manager and was told he was gone. Approx. 15 min. later I get a call from the manager Jose who said he would refund me the diffrence. Really! so your admitting you guys are wrong and took advantage of me. How many more are there? Just think about this! if they add qrts. to each transaction that dollar amount can add up. Today, Im going to complain to the Better business Bureau and I also complained to the corporation which I found that Jiffy Lube is independently owned. I'm upset about this because I feel that I was taken advantage of because I'm a woman and because of the car I drive. A qrt. is 10.00 but I would of rather of given that 10.00 to a homeless man that needs it, than to a place like this. Yes, I'm Pist! I own my own business and I would never ever treat my customers this way. It's called business integrity. No women don't generally put car maintenance at the top of the list but, we should be able to know that when we go somewhere that's providing service that were being told the truth. So, I was out shopping yesterdy and I needed a oil change as well. I seen this Jiffy Lube in the area and decided to give them a try. I was greeted by a young lady by the name of Sarah.... I asked how much a oil change was and she went over all of the different types of oil they have and what kind of oil my car takes. I was skeptical at first because the pricing seemed a little high, but as Sarah got into more detail and explained that my car requires synthetic oil and showed me my oil cap, also let me know that they check all fluid and top most of them off, check your filters, belts, tires etc it was well worth it! My oil change was done in about 20 minutes. The manager Jose who worked on my car was super friendly as well. He pulled my filters showed them to me and explained what they were for, the cost of them, and asked if I wanted to change them. I didn't feel pressured at all. I felt very comfortable at this location. The staff were really knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable. I was surprised all throughout the service. When Sarah cashed me out she not only gave me a oil change coupon but one for my filters as well.. Sarah then went on to explain the free top offs between services. Over all I had a great experience and props to Sarah for making other women feel comfortable when we pull up to a facility expecting to deal with all men (no offense guys) but it's nice to see women can be knowledgeable about cars too. I'll definitely be back and if you're ever in the area I highly recommend this place. It beats waiting at the dealership all day, plus you have the perks of In N Out, Panda Express, Wal Mart and many other shopping facilities. You can get a lot done in the area. I came in during later half of March for a transmission fluid replacement and oil change. Shortly after the service I noticed that the acceleration in my vehicle wasn't the same, there was a jitter to my acceleration that was not present before the service. I took it back to Jiffy when I realized my problem a few days later. When I did take it back to Jiffy the manager there told me that the work they did was all good, and that the car was fine, it was probably my splash guard causing the jittering. A week or two later my car dies on the highway, busted transmission. I find it very strange that my transmission died after I had just service the fluid, and after I had taken it back to make sure it wasn't on their end. I am out the cost of a repair for a busted transmission and the warranty person who contacted me has gone completely missing, and does not return phone calls or emails. They tried to send someone to see the transmission but took way too long to coordinate any kind of effort. I need my vehicle and so I proceeded with repairs post haste.The warranty people wanted to see the inside of the transmission to inspect it for damages and check liability, so I was just supposed to wait on you guys with a non operating car or have my mechanics wait on your people before I can do anything? That's unacceptable. Bordering negligence. I had 0 problems before the service, and always followed maintenance schedules. Avoid this company and this location the best you can, I will be opening a case with the bureau of consumer protection if nothing is done. Never again!! So I love using Groupon because of the convenience and discounts but never again will I buy it for this location. This was my third time using the Groupon and never have they charged more than what I've already paid through the app. This time the guy who "helped" me was adamant that I had paid an additional $5 for the disposal fee. He even asked me for my previous receipts which I had to prove it. Instead the receipts backed up what I said. He would not back down, he even sent over the cashier (Sarah), who by the way was even ruder to show me the fine print on Groupon. I tried as the customer to tell them that I understood what the fine print said but I was also sure that I had not paid that before and the fact that I had proof of that meant nothing. Sarah proceeded to tell me it was entered in wrong and maintained her position and attitude. In my opinion it was the principal and not about the $5. What ever happened to plain ole customer Service? They literally had attitudes and David even said at one point "so I'm a liar?". I mean seriously?? Then Sarah came over with her attitude and I said at that point, so you all suck with the customer service I see. She replied, " I guess so". Wow to top it off the Mgr Jose never came over to speak with me and he just let them them speak to customers like that. Poor service...Smh!! read more

Just got my oil changed here and I was so impressed with the service here in Jiffy Lube Rancho Cucamonga, CA Hugo and Angel were fantastic and very professional I asked Hugo if I could have my tires rotated and he told due to the size of my truck they might not be able to do it, but Hugo didn't give up he went out of his way to get it done and for this kind service from whole crew I will recommend this location to all my friends and my local family. thank you Hugo and Angel for all your hard work. I visited Jiffy Lube today, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. During the service, the technician named Juan accidentally spilled oil on my engine, and they didn't top off my windshield fluid. To my surprise, when I went inside the waiting room, I noticed Juan in my car, seemingly preoccupied with his phone and swiping on Tinder. I had my oil changed at this location yesterday. I was approached by a woman named Sarah. She was very deatailed on reccomend services and what type of oil was required for my vehicle. I feel Sarah was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was offered a $15 coupon for the services performed and I was surprised to have my fluids topped off, tires checked, and my car was even vacuumed.
