To be completely honest - I was so so so hopeful for this place. I loved the fact that you can schedule an appointment so you can plan accordingly. When me and my boyfriend arrived , they were very nice , respectful and had a joking environment which made it chill and comforting. A great environment while you're waiting for your vehicle. My appointment was an oil change at 1230pm - an appointment with an empty lobby .. and we got our invoices closed at 2:10pm.. with an appointment set after we were told to schedule an appointment because it's recommended - so we trusted the business and did exactly that.. while we were waiting I heard ALL employees in the garage gossiping about their family and wife's and what they do in their free time .. I can literally hear them , so I check to see if ANYONE is working at all , everyone was just having a great time while we wait in the lobby. We were really hoping to make this shop our go to .. sadly the personalities are great , but the service is horrible , don't waste your time or money , the discount for the wait time didn't help given the fact that they were literally just standing around like a bunch of girls at a brunch party. I understand y'all's need to take a lunch and a break .. but everyone at the same time ?.. and not even being discreet about not working .. just left it out for their customers to see, didn't care about the time of their customers. Deeply need some systems set in place and some foundation of how to run a business and handle their employees. I had an 830 am appt, for just an oil change. I got there at 8:15 am, Sam the Service Manager said there was 4 cars ahead. No problem. I got something to eat and came about 9:15 am. Sam eventually calls to the counter with all these that are wrong with the car and and do i want to fix them? If i wanted to have any fixed, I would have brought the car in for service. Sam goes to car bay and tells the mechanic, " no just oil change". They had been holding my car all this time. REALLY!. EVENTUALLY, I get my car after 10 am. 1.5 hrs for an oil change. When i go to pay he has someone's account pulled and has to finish typing and inputting in computer before he can get to.my account. I will never go back there! read more

Absolutely horrible business. I come in on Monday to try and get an oil change. They said wait time would be 1-3 hours and that I can make an appointment for a later day to bring it in. I bring it in for the appointment and the Asian man at the desk tells me that it's still going to take several hours and that the appointment only guarantees the car will be serviced that same day, but it's still going to take several hours! What is the point of making an appointment then if both a walk in AND an appointment is going to be several hours! Absolutely horrible business, and this is coming from someone who owns their own business that is based off of appointments. Next time how about you make it clear that regardless of appointment or walk in, you'll still have to leave your car for several hours! Very disappointed! read more

Groupon is honored but still charge $14 for disposal, like you thought I'd dispose myself?!? As if these two weren't enough every man all two of them were asked what their mileage was since they didn't know it was assumed I didn't know mine which of course I knew it bc you're asked each time you go. Sad to say I contemplated between a 1 or 2 but certainly not deserving of more. Why only 1 mechanic when you open at 730. That seems illogical on a Monday especially since the reviews you're getting are for the atrocious wait times. Figure out the service part of your name so you can attract and retain business. My son came in here last week when it was raining because he wanted a break inspection because he said his brakes felt off. They lifted his truck and told him all 4 (Front and rear) brakes and Rotors were shot. Then started to gather materials to replace them. My son called me and told me what they told him and I said gey an estimate do not sign anything until I know what is going on. So they quoted him $1750 to change it all out. Outrageous then when he said no thank you just wanted the inspection, the local manager tried to bully him yo finance them, then gave him a hard time saying he needs to come back Monday and gather the money to get them done. He had his phone in his pocket so I could hear the conversation He left after about a half hour of then trying to swindle my son. We took it elsewhere for a second and third opinion. Rotors were fine pads still had life on them. We bought parts at auto store and fixed them in 2 hours and cost us $280. Beware of this place, get another opinion. Mike is a rude, mad, crazy, ridiculous, terrible, dishonest, and unprofessional manager. I came in for tires rotation and air pressure check on my Toyota last Friday while Mike was the manage in the store. When my car was still parking outside of the building and before Mike checked my tires, he yelled at me that I needed to replace my tires because he saw the record on his computer that my tires were old. I told him that I had two cars and I worked 3 miles away. I only drive 500 miles annually on my Toyota and 5000 miles annually on my Lexus. The tread of my Toyota is very good, you only see half of the penny head and the tires still looked like new {see the attached pictures). He screamed at me that my tires were old regardless the tread or look. So he needs to throw away all tires in his inventory if they are old! Then a lady came in for tire's air pressure check, he did the same thing that he yelled at the lady that she needed to replace tires. After waiting for one hour my friend came in and we chatted. He said: buying an used car is a headache. it required lots of repairs and they were expensive, especially at Mountain View. I said: I agree but I shop around and compare the prices, if it is not much different, I choose Mountain View because of the convenient location. Then he said: Mike asks him to replace the Axile and cost $700, he will take a picture and ask his technician friend for an opinion. I said: Good idea! Two years ago I came in for my Lexus car to replace the hose, and Mike told me to replace the pump, then Mike said I needed to replace the Rack Pinion as well, The total amount was $2,300 including a free oil change but Mike was not honest, he didn't do the oil change until later I found out and came back to ask for an oil change. Actually I didn't need to replace the Rack Pinion. Lexus car's parts have good quality, I should have checked with a technician friend first like the way you did. The whole conversation was informational between friends and customers. Mike was mad and unprofessional, he shut at me to stop the conservation. You know friends and customers spread words. My coworkers introduced me to Mountain View when Henry was the manger and we all enjoyed Henry. After Mike took the place my coworkers left Mountain View for some other place. I continued to come to Mountain View because of the convenient location. I had replaced 4 tires on each car with expensive Good Year Assurance all season tires and they have 65.000 miles warranty with life time tires rotation and rebalance. I only come in once a year for tires rotation! If you want to have a good business, then you need to provide a good customer service and fair price, and be professional. We have about 300 employees and we spread words for good or bad. You can't stop it! read more

BEWARE AT THIS MOUNTAIN VIEW TIRE & AUTO SERVICE. DON'T GO TO THIS TIRE SHOP. This is the worst tire service I've been through. Besides from the skinny tall guy at the counter had an attitude, the warranty of my tires wasn't honored. I bought my tires over 2 1/2 years ago and the 2 tires were almost bald. THe warranty states that the mileage warranty was 50,000 miles. My car had driven 27,000 miles only in less than 3 years. This guy at the counter kept given me excuses not to replace the tires. He said that it depends where you've driven it to me, how fast and how slow. What the .... I said I drove it on the street. Before he checked my tire, he said that the thread has to be 3.25 to be considered bad tire. My tire's thread has 3. After he checked my tires, he said, oooh your thread has to be 2 to be considered bald. When he checked his computer, he gave me this excuse that your tire has to be rotated every 5,000 miles. I said I did at the other shop that my tires were rotated at the other shop. I can bring you the receipt. He said that my tires had to be rotated at their shop. What a scam... They promised this warranty with sweet talks but at the end, they won't replaced them and they'll give you these excuses. I never had this problem to any shops except Mountain View Tire & Auto Service. VERY BAD SERVICE. read more

Beware Beware this place double charged me on my credit card and I've been super patient with them trying to get my money back for 2 weeks. Sunny calls me and he was the guy who double charged me and said to just file a claim because Mike the manager can't get ahold of the corporate offices. Like wtf you double charge me and now I have to do the work to get my own money back what absolutely horrible customer service. I'm beyond furious next time I need tires I will look elsewhere because this company proved they beyond suck and don't care about the customer service at all. I would give a negative rating if it were possible. I scheduled an oil change at the Mounview Rancho location for 9 AM on 11/04/2024. When I made the appointment, I informed them that I had purchased a Groupon voucher, and they said that was fine. Today, I had to work, so my husband took the car in for the oil change. Since his English isn't very good, they told him our car needed better quality oil and that we should go for the $67 package, even though I had purchased the $32 package on Groupon. My husband agreed to pay the $35 difference. After waiting for two hours, they told my husband they had replaced the cabin filter and air filter without his consent, charging a total of $195. This is absolutely ridiculous; they changed the filters and charged us without obtaining his approval. My husband refused the filter replacements and asked them to put our own filters back in, which made him wait an additional hour to get the car back. A basic oil change ended up with him waiting three hours. To make it worse, at checkout, they overcharged him by forcing the $67 package fee instead of the agreed-upon $35 difference. Since my husband's English isn't strong, this is fraudulent; they completely disregarded our wishes, took advantage of his language barrier, and unjustly overcharged us. This behavior is unacceptable as it constitutes consumer fraud. I demand that they refund the overcharged amount and issue an apology to both me and my husband. read more

Do not come here! I spent 1500 hundred bucks here and they made the problem worse. First, I was the first customer of the day and had to wait 45 minutes after closing to get my car back and was told it would ready no later than 4pm. I went for 100k service and they told me my oil pan was leaking. When I got the car back it made a strange noise that sounded like rushing water every time you took off and the car leaked worse. I had to take it back again the next day to get it fixed again and waited another 2 hours. Now it's 3 days later and the car is leaking oil way worse than it ever was before, these people are incompetent !! read more

On January 13th I paid $1586.56 to order four "new" tires for my car. When I ordered the tires I specifically requested fresh tires. I was assured by the Assistant Manager that the tires would have DOT Date codes no earlier than 2024. The next day I took my car in and they installed the "new" tires. After I drove home I checked the dates on the "new" tires. The oldest was Jan 2022 and the others were in early 2023. Basically, they sold me two to three year old tires as new. Considering most tire manufacturers recommend replacing tires within six year of the manufacturing date, the tires Mountain Tire sold me were already 1/3 into their lifespan. I've talked to the Assistant Manager multiple times trying to get this problem resolved. He was polite and told me he reordered the tires, but they were old as well and that the distributor said they have no fresher tires. I explained that this is akin to going to a donut shop and paying full price for fresh donuts only to discover they are three day old stale donuts. I feel that if they cannot get fresh tires, they should reduce the price of the stale tires they sold me to compensate for the reduced life span. The Assistant Manager told me that the Corporate headquarters refused such an offer. Our household (5 cars) has been customers of Mountain View Tire for decades. No more. Beware of Mountain View Tire. They will sell you old tires at a new tire price and refuse to resolve the issues regarding their actions. Don't trust them. As an update, I've called the customer service dept. Given in the cute autogenerated block below. It's a useless exercise. I've called them 6 times, and got disconnected 5 times (bad phone system, or just rude?). Anyway, they do not return calls as initially promised. When I finally got to a rep, she told me that they had declined to adjust the price to compensate for installing stale tires. She did offer a $50.00 discount coupon for further services. But, considering how they treated me, why would I trust them to properly do anything? read more

I had great experiences at the Mountain View Tire and Auto locations in Norco and Eastvale. My truck wouldn't turn over so I had them towed and they took it to the wrong location- Rancho by mistake. I thought it should be fine even though I don't know these guys. I don't think they are affiliated with the other locations because I wasn't "in the system" even though I had been twice to Norco and once to Eastvale. The mechanic called me and said that I just need a new battery and it should fire right up. I told him I don't think it's the battery since it was relatively new and I didn't notice any battery issues. He argued with me so I thought, they are the experts. He replaced the battery and told me my water pump was leaking. $1000 to replace both. I drove it home and the next morning it again wouldn't turn over. I want a discount to bring it back to fix the real issue but I don't feel like these guys are listening to me. I'm pretty sure it's a fuel injection issue.
