It's not often a jiffy lube gets a 5 star review, is it? I went in for an oil change; knowing I needed a lot more work on my car. Filters were offered, rotation was offered, brakes were offered... At a cost. I went ahead and had it all completed. The cost really want to bad. I had an alternator issue... I thought if nothing else they could provide a mechanic. These guys too the times to check and figured out a connection was loose. They didn't have to do this, the time and energy meant so much. Thank you Joseph and crew!!! Love this place man, Daniel such a great guy. I always requesting one because he's always there. He's always working and he's great at what he does. I even asked him why he knows everything about cars and he straight up. Told me it's because he's passionate about them. That doesn't say he's good at his job. I don't know what does pretty pretty before and Daniel's always there. I've never had any issues on my car that he's worked on and I've always requested him. Jiffy Lube is definitely my right hand man first place I run to when I'm having a car issue. The team is great, but Daniel has definitely become someone we trust with our car even when we had broke something on our car trying to fix it. Daniel didn't judge us. He fixed it with a smile on his face and told us to come back whenever we really appreciate that man. BEWARE!!! Took my groupon that I paid 35.99 for and he added 16.99 Charged full price. He said it doesn't cover everything. I didn't get an air filter or any extras, just a conventional oil change on a 2009 ford escape. Then he couldn't print out the sticker because machine was having issues and he said he had the same problem with the last six customers. This was at about 0900 in the morning. He said next time he could get me a better deal without the groupon coupon. He kept addressing me as bro. Never again.. bro I did check the oil level after I pulled away and have piece of mind that it was at least full. read more

I like this location of Jiffy Lube. The employees are very friendly and the service is usually fast. I know how to change the oil in my car, I'm just too lazy to do it. I also know about most of the maintenance schedules for my truck and I don't like some locations that are very, very pushy on other services. This location seems to get that and when I say "just an oil change" I get just that. The only downfall I have seen here is that you cannot pre-pay for your service. If I want to drop my wife's car off and pick it up after hours (it's not conducive to sit there and wait with a 2 year old) it would be nice to be able to pay and let them lock the car up in the lot to pick up after hours. read more

BEWARE of unnecessary services/charges!! I had an oil change here on10/21/20 and the service technician informed me that my front brake pads needed to be replaced. He said new brake pads are a 12 and mine were only at a 2. He offered to add that to the service so my truck would be safe for winter at an additional cost of $149.99 for brake service and $40 for labor. I passed on the additional service that day & I'm glad I did because he was not honest. I took my truck to Les Schwab for brake service and when they got my truck in they informed me that I do NOT need new brake pads for at least another 25,000-30,000 miles. read more

My mother in law had a terrible experience at this car mechanic. When she picked up her car, the hood was not closed properly and they did not bother to let her know. As a result, the car hood flew open while she was driving on the freeway, causing significant damage to the hood, windshield, and front roof of the car from the impact. She immediately went to go talk to them to let them know of what had happened and at first they told her they were going to own up to the mistake and help fix the issue. They asked her to get multiple quotes from body shops and that they would take care of it. After getting multiple quotes to get the damaged fixed, they completely changed their minds and said they were not going to fix the car anymore since it was a salvaged title car. How does that make a difference? The negligence was done by their tech for not closing the hood properly. Don't go here for any service because they clearly do not care about their customers safety and are negligent. Also a previous review from months ago shows another customer had the same issue with them not closing their car hood properly. Beware of going here. read more

If you bring your vehicle here (it does not matter how severe your issue is) they will bring you a list of problems, and basically convince you that your car will fall apart if you don't get every one of them taken care of. Not only that, when I asked how much something would be they told me a price that seemed high but reasonable enough, and then when it was time to pay it turns out they were charging me TRIPLE what I was told it would cost. Don't give in to these scam artists. Take your money literally anywhere else. read more

Fastest Jiffy Lube I've personally been to. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. I think it's under new management because when I came here over a year ago it wasn't the best. But I had to get oil change, emissions and brakes and I don't regret coming in at all! read more

Trust is GONE! Went in to get my radiator fluid topped off along with a lube and filter. I was told that my battery was bad and needed to be replaced. They also talked me into an oil system flush (tried to talk me into a bunch of other additional services, which I turned down - luckily). When they were "finished", I was charged $275.03 and my truck was pulled out the bay doors so the tech could try and talk me into the other services. That was when we noticed that the $150 battery hadn't actually been replaced. I could tell something had been done on my truck because there was oil all over inside the compartment (it stunk as it burnt off going home!). After chasing the tech back down to find out about the battery, I ended up just getting a refund (LUCKILY!!) and left. I went to an O'Reillys down the road and they said my battery is just fine!! While at O'Reillys I noticed that my coolant reservoir was bone dry and bought some antifreeze also (I had just paid an additional $7.99 at Jiffy Lube to top this off!!!). I got the service on on 02/29/2020 and the invoice number is 28100828 if the owner wants to make this right. You have to trust the people that do vehicle service and Jiffy Lube in Riverdale, UT lost mine. read more

This place is ridiculous! Told me I had two bulbs burned out on my upper break light making it to fail inspection. It only had one out. Got it fixed and returned today to get it reinspected. Guess what, no inspector today. What kind of jiffy-pop joint is this? Really? read more

Worst service of any Jiffy Lube I've ever used. Been here 30 minutes, so far, and they haven't finished any of the cars that were in the bats, when I arrived. After 45 minutes, they finally finished the cars that were in work, when arrived. It only took 10 minutes to complete my car, once they started. So: Wait time was a 0. Time to finish my car was a 5. But the wait time and customer interaction during that time dragged my experience down to an overall rating of 1. read more

This place is close but very slow. It's were the kids that dropped out of mechanic school found a job. I just got my oil changed in my brand new work truck (literally the first oil change) and now I have an oil stain on the driveway. They said it is because it's a Ford. One other time they cleaned my battery on another work truck and they ended up cutting my battery cable. read more

I came into get an old change the staff here are amazing they said my oil was fine and did not need to be changed. Also I was getting new wiper blades the gentle man did not try to upsale me even gave me a discount on my tire rotation. This was a very hard process for me because my dad used to take care of this stuff and he passed away four months ago. The staff made it alot easier by being so friendly. read more

I've always gone to Jiffy Lube in Riverdale for my annual inspections and registration. This year, I tried going to the Jiffy Lube on Harrison Blvd in South Ogden, since it's closer to home. I stood at their service counter for 15 minutes, no exaggeration, without anyone making an attempt to help me. So, I left. I decided to go to my trusted Riverdale location and of course, received the best service possible. Not only did a technician WALK over to my car as soon as I had parked, but he quickly gathered my information and immediately pulled my vehicle into the garage. Although they are technically the same company, the Jiffy Lube in Riverdale is easily the best. Always providing above-average customer service and leaving me pleased with my decision to come here for my needs. Thanks boys! read more

Really awful customer service. I bought a Groupon for this place, and called ahead to make sure they would accept it. They said yes, but when I got there no one understood how it worked and they ended up billing me a full oil change on top of the Groupon I'd already paid before they would release my truck. I called later to get a refund and they said they had no manager. I called corporate a few days later and they finally admitted it was their fault, but couldn't issue a refund because it was a new month? I finally argued with them until they agreed to send a refund check in the mail. They also billed my truck as a 4x4 even though it is not. It's been a month now and I still have not received the refund check. Absolute incompetence. Save some trouble and cash and do your own oil change. read more

I've come to this location many times without incident. Something has changed. I clearly was an inconvenience to the technician that finally helped me after I walked in. He could not have cared less if he helped me or not and was abrupt in questions or answers. They misquoted me on some light replacement and the person at the desk (didn't catch her name but she was the only bright spot in the whole place) talked to the manager. He pretty much grunted and fixed the price and walked away saying "no big deal". Not sure what happened here but doubt I'll darken it's doors again. read more

Awful awful awful, slow slow slow. Came here on a Friday around 4. There were cars in but mine would be the next up. Guy came out to greet me. I asked him how long and he said about a half hour. He opened my door for me to get out, I asked if I should turn it off (wasn't sure if he was going to pull it up). He said whatever. I didn't but then went back to. Good thing, because it was an hour before they even pulled my car in. I guess it takes 5 guys over an hour to do 2 cars. This place is terrible. read more

They gave us the run around. Told us to buy stuff for the battery like the bungee cords, then tie downs, then ratchet straps, then the usual battery bars that hold it in place then did our emissions and didn't enter it in the system. Avoid this location at all costs. I waited about two hours for them to complete a safety and emissions inspection. They tried to up charge every single person in there. I watched them try $7.99 for low coolant on one guy and $69.00 for power steering fluid on another. Yet another guy was charged more for extra oil that was not disclosed prior to the work being done. There were others. The technician didn't even wipe off the oil left behind on my front left quarter panel from his soiled clothing rubbing up against the paint. I also overheard them talking to the guy they up charged for the power steering fluid as I was leaving. They failed his inspection after the up charge, but they knew it had failed before the up charge without telling him so they could get more money out of him before he found out. I wouldn't send my mom, wife, daughter, son or anyone else I know that may not know better to this place. You've been warned. read more
