Recently I had the oil in our 2017 Subaru Forester changed here, and the next day the car overheated and sustained engine damage after the oil leaked out. Our regular mechanic examined it and took pictures showing that the oil filter had not been re-installed properly in the oil change -- there were two seals under the filter instead of one, causing the oil leak in our mechanic's opinion. read more

I was told they did inspections until 3:30. I drove down and around 1:30 I was told I was in line for the inspection. They had a 30 min lunch and I was next, so I waited. After 20 minutes of waiting they sent someone else out to tell me they weren't going to do my inspection. No explanation just they weren't going to do any more inspections. We were out of town when our check engine light came on. The technician informed us that the spark plugs would need to be replaced. Only after getting that work done did the engine start stuttering and misfiring. It appears that the spark plugs that were replaced were faulty or installed incorrectly. When trying to call this location to discuss the work done and get proof of the warranty the technician said we had on the work, the call went immediately to the voicemail inbox, which was full and therefore we were unable to get in contact with anyone. Im leaving a 3 start only because the workers was very nice and seemed professional however I don't think I'll be coming back to this place due to feeling like I was promised something that wasn't followed through with. I feel like I got way overcharged I understand it's a business and they have to make money but for what I needed done it was ridiculously pricey and I was told that since my parts for what I needed was expensive and it's right at Christmas time I was told that the general manager approved to wave Labor fees however when I got home and looked at my recipe I noticed for spark plugs alone $170 I've never in my whole life seen spark plugs even get close to that so I had to be charged for labor. I don't really ever take the time to write reviews but they are rude ! I pulled up and three employees looked at me and didn't come to my car to ask what service I wanted nothing . I literally just sat there for two min . One guy smoking the other just walking back and forth . No other cars were in the parking lot or in the garage . Finally I start to pull my car up some more thinking because it's raining they didn't want to come out in it. Understandable. But even then, no guidance on if I was good to pull forward or not. Then I get in my car and they scrape off the old jiffy lube sticker halfway and left the residue on the floor . What's the point of vacuuming my car just to scrape it and leave that in the floor of my car . I didn't notice that until I drove off and I was beyond pissed. So I drive back to speak with the manager . And he smirks the entire time I'm speaking to him like it was funny or some kind of a joke. He says he doesn't have the scraper because it's locked up somewhere and the girl used her nail . I would rather you tell me you can't do it because you don't have the tools than leave that mess on my Window. He offers to fix it but how will you fix it if you didn't have the tool before how do you have it now ? A few months back my boyfriends car had issues with the turn signal we took it here and they informed him that they didn't know anything about it to take it somewhere else. Then yesterday his clutch started going out he had the replacement ready to go and they quoted him $570 for labor. Expecting that it would be done TODAY we took it and left it overnight. At 1:28pm they call and inform him they didn't even start it because he was misquoted. On Tuesday I got my oil changed at this location. I smelled a burning smell that Wednesday and Thursday I thought was my surroundings as I drive 45 miles each way to and from work near big rigs. HOWEVER the smell was terrible today to the point I felt light headed. Even my partner noticed the smell when I pulled up home. On 09-24-2022 I went to Jiffy Lube. I've been noticing that when turn my wheel, my car makes like a popping sound. They told me it was my CV shelf they let me know how much it was going to cost me as well as when to come in. after the assistant manager walked away one of the employees name Jamie i believe that his name. He came up to me saying. he can fix my car the same day on the side. That was my biggest regret moment. After he fixed my car not even 6 days later my car was leaking transmission fluid. He came back to look at it he called himself fixing it. which he knew for a fact he f***** u*. when he put in my CV. Now my car is sitting at another shop I took a loss of $500. So I've been to this jiffy lube a number of times, was always treated fairly well, the staff courteous prompt and helpful. Today I show up and stop before pulling in as I typically do waiting on a verbal queue from staff to proceed. I got my verbal queue in the form of being shouted at a a staff member I've never met before screams "Pull it over on the side of the building", actually it was surreal enough I didn't realize he was actually screaming at me. Then another worker came over to greet me and ask what I needed, than proceeded to politely ask me to park it next to the building. It was at that moment that I realized the other dude was screaming at me. No problem, I did just that. Meanwhile I wonder how bad someone's life has to be to feel they have to lash out at complete strangers. Hmmm, as I was waiting to checkout, I heard someone say to a Co worker, well you can go home too, and thirty seconds later I heard tires spinning, rocks flying and engine racing as the employee obviously ended his workday abruptly. I don't even know if it's the same employee, just know the whole experience started mildly stressful, ended with a bit of excitement and thought someone might appreciate the story. Went for a regular oil change and asked mechanic when I pulled up and he said $39!! I didn't really like the price because it was more than anyone else but said ok and when they was done they charged me $52 for a regular oil change!! They said that my car took a special oil filter!! It was a 2001 Ford Focus and it's a standard oil filter!! What a con!! Called corporate office and they told me that someone from that station would call me in a few days and nothing!! Tried back after 3 days and corporate office said they would send them a email and have them contact me!! We will see what happens(probably nothing since they have their money) read more
