They charged $76 for the oil change for my 10 years old Camry which wasn't necessary at all. Will never go back.

I never really trust these places but you get a car wash coupon and the engine has never burned out. In the end it's ok. The waiting room is clean and you don't usually have to wait long. Since I'm sitting here on a Sunday afternoon when nothing else is open then that alone is a plus. read more

Horrible customer service waited about an hour when they said 20 min. NOW this man is telling me some BOLT in the oil area is broken adding on another charge. They can't get oil changes right for the life of them. This is the second time jiffy lube messed up my Nissan maxima, and the last time I'll hive them my business. Do yourself a favor and use Tomco info Bethpage. They'll do right by you and get it done right. Don't waste your time or money with these jerks! read more

Just went in to get an oil change and tail light fixed. After they mentioned everything was done, I was about to pull out and noticed that my tail light wasn't fixed at all. I informed the rep and he told me they didn't have the part so they didn't work on it. So....thanks for not telling me. I've gone to this place a few occassions in the past for a car inspection and each time, they say "our machine is broken" ... well... too many strikes against this location and enough negative experiences to write a not-so favorable review. read more

Went there for an oil change. They asked me if i wanted to top off the coolant overflow tank. I said no (the tank was 1/2 full and didn't need to be topped off). They charged me for it anyway and I had to have them remove it. The oil change was done in less than 5 minutes after i specified what oil i wanted. It seemed strange and when i got home i checked the oil and it was black. I don't believe they changed the oil. Made an appointment at the dealer to get an oil change and will never go back. If you're going for an inspection, and have window tints, they will neglect to tell you that they can't pass the car with tints, take the car and charge you the full price for a failed inspection. I understand it's illegal, but when the tints are obviously too dark you can have the courtesy to warn people. read more

He walked me through everything they did so I could explain it to my hubby. He accepted an old coupon and gave me a new one for my next visit. Apparently last time I came here my drain plug was over tightened. I went in yesterday and Stephen the manager was extremely apologetic and told me about it. He was honest and told me how they were responsible for the problem. Since I couldn't drive it, he offered me a ride home. He replaced the pan and plug which took all day. It would have cost me a ton, but he paid for everything. He could have easily lied and told me they had nothing to do with it. But he was so honest and took full responsibility. He wouldn't even charge me for the oil change that I came in for. read more

Came in on thrusday with my mom's car. I was greeted by a sweet employee named "Jeffrey" he wrote me up in no time and walk me to a waiting room. After he looked over the car he noticed me what was going on with the vehicle. He was not pushy or force full usually i would go to jiffy lube because some of the employees can be pushy. After I payed we talked he was a really sweet and cute guy. I will most definitely go back if he's there. Best service I ever had. read more

I took my girlfriends car and was greeted by Nick. He was very friendly, and he laughed when I said, "Nothing special. I don't want anyone to try to sell me anything I don't need." He also said, "We don't sell you stuff you don't need, and I won't do that. I'm here for you, and that's a good thing." Anyway he tells me about some great promotion, and he explained the benefits of the synthetic oil, and I believe him! (Later on, I realized he was telling the actual truth and the internet backed it all up what he said!) I'm SAVING MONEY! Wouldn't you believe that guy Nick (besides pouring some water for some little kids) actually comes in and says to some lady, "It's way to hot for you to come out there, so I am showing you your filters in here." He then shows an AIR FILTER and says, "You don't need this changed, it's still fine, and I've seen worse." So, the lady was amazed. She told him, "I've never heard anyone at Jiffy Lube say that. They always insist I buy a new one every time I'm here, and then my husband gets mad at me." I heard Nick say, "Not me. We do things differently around here. We are here for you. It isn't all about the sale, believe me." So, even though I didn't want to spend any money, he came in and showed me my in air cabin filter, which was filthy. I had no intentions on buying anything besides the oil at that place, but this guy, and you could hear him yelling out all instructions and getting the other workers to move along he was in charge, he cared about us, the customers. He insisted the Heartland corp which apparently bought the Jiffy Lube there CARED about their customers and the way he handled things, I'M a believer! And, not to be believed, another customer actually tried to get Nick to leave Jiffy Lube and come work for him at a BMW dealership in FREEPORT! I'm sure Nick will be gone soon, because he knew his stuff and obviously gave a crap about all of the customers sitting in the waiting room. Someone like that can't possibly last long in a place that normally gets a bad reputation. It's too bad. When the transaction was over I was happy for the first time at a Jiffy Lube because it was apparent they were not trying to just take my money, but they seemed to have my interests at heart. Nick rang me up, and somehow we got to talking about other services. He brought up an interesting point too, because he said that unlike the dealerships or other auto repair places, Jiffy Lube didn't charge a labor rate, that it was kinda cut and dry, like if you needed a light bulb replaced. On top of that, he was INSISTENT that I send in this rebate I got for switching to an oil blend! I am getting $15 bucks back! Nick actually took the time to CHECK it off for me, and circle the address for me to send it to. Then he stapled the rebate to my invoice because, in his words, "I don't want you to lose out on $15 bucks...you won't lose it this way!" I was very happy. I asked Nick, "Are you the manager?" He said, "No, I'm not." I quickly said, "The way you ran things out there you sure looked like it." He just kind of smiled and brushed it off. I swear, he definitely took over in that place, and I don't know who the heck the manager really was that day, but manager or not, Nick ran the place. Some of the guys there were just standing around, and I saw him in action. I didn't hear exactly what he said to the employees, but whatever it was, they started moving a little faster for him! That was evident! I hope heartland, or Jiffy Lube, or whoever runs the place, realizes that this guy Nick really motivates those around him. That guy Nick, ran the show, was honest, and I have to say, if he tells me that I need something the next time, (or, my gf car, really) I am, without any hesitation, going to buy whatever the heck he says I need. And, I Know this won't mean anything for Big Nick, but, anyone reading this, ASK for him! Find him. He knows his cars. It would be in YOUR best interests to not be taken into some stupid sale of all the crap you DON'T need from someone there. Nick, I can assure you, will take care of you. His interest are in his customers. And yet, somehow, he applauded Heartland as well. I'm not sure who this Heartland is, but Nick seemed happy that Heartland took over, and really, in the end, I am Happy that Heartland took over too. And you know why? Because this guy Nick said so. And, he not only made me believe they were helping me and my car, but after this wonderful experience, I can tell you that, I'm sure Nick won't be there much longer because he clearly isn't like all the other sales people at Jiffy Lube. Nick actually asked another customer if they were too cold sitting in the waiting room because the AC was set for very cold! Who does that? Who? I will def recommend this Jiffy Lube. ! Very honest. My kudos to the Jiffy Lube in Seaford. I will definitely be back next time. I just hope Nick will be there too. read more

Been going there a very long time without a bad thing to say. I give them a lot of business paying over $100 for synthetic oil changes more often than I need them and every inspection along with the rest of my family, but just had my first questionable experience after they charged my mother over $30 for a $3 license plate bulb they said was needed for inspection and failed her inspection anyway for a more obvious problem. The guy was not very happy when i asked if he already knew it was failing when he said it needed a bulb to pass but the money I've spent there has earned me the right to ask questions that can impact where I go in the future, and people don't spend $30 on a license plate bulb without the threat of losing $35 on a failed inspection. It is possible he replaced the bulb before noticing the other problem and they are pretty friendly but it's probably safer to stick with my mechanic in the future. The wait sucks but he seems to realize going after the little things costs him the big things later on. read more

I went to this location today it was the most outrageous experience. I get there they tell me to bring my jeep around the gentleman was nice told me there was coffee and water in the waiting room a short time after another gentleman came out asked me to walk to my jeep I told him I was just here for a basic oil change he tried to sell me everything under the sun I told him I was not interested I just needed the oil change he proceeded in telling me that the cost for the oil change was $89 because I had a hundred and fifty thousand miles on my Jeep. I told him never in my lifetime have I ever paid that much money for an oil change I've never paid more than $40. Then he proceeded in telling me that I had a brake light out and interior light out and a license plate light out I told him thank you very much I would take care of it myself please give me my keys because I'll go to the local station to get the oil change done. To boot I just had my Jeep inspected and just as I expected I didn't have any lights out so they were trying to charge me for items I didn't need. So if you need a good place for an oil change I suggest you go to gulf on Newbridge Road in Bellmore the owner there Gus is amazing. He told me all my brake lights interior lights and everything was intact just as I already knew and he charged me $40 for my oil change. I would never recommend this place they're Shady with their prices and obviously they like to take advantage of women. Not this woman not today...
