Went here the other day to take my girlfriends car to get an oil change. First thing they said is they're only doing synthetic oil changes that are $130 which I think is kind of crazy. Anyways these guys were making fun of the car and could not keep their comments to themselves about the girlie stickers on the car which I find is kind of annoying and unprofessional. And to top it off they don't do any of the other services as far as tire pressure checks, vacuuming etc. This jiffy lube shouldn't even exist let alone get 1 star. Terrible. read more

I brought my 2019 RAM 2500 in for a routine oil change today at the West Simi Valley location. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was greeted, how fast the service was done and how attentive the staff was. Getting the oil changed is usually not a pleasant experience, but Anthony and Mikey made it much more tolerable. I will definitely be returning with all my vehicles in the future. read more

Sorry but This jiffy lube is a complete ripoff. Synthetic oil change with 4 quarts of oil is $130 plus tax. My dealership doesn't charge that much nor have other jiffy lube locations. The people I interacted with were nice but that price tag is just beyond ripoff. Especially no window washing (according to the invoice customer declined ... which I did not) no vacuuming (also states decline on invoice) no tire pressure check. Good thing is i always check my car for issues. Yes it only took 15/20 min. So very fast and no wait since nobody was at the location but sadly all that does not justify such price tag. read more

Went on Sunday morning for a standard oil change. There were two cars in the lane ahead, but things seemed to be moving quickly. You'll wait in your car, and stay in your car while they do the service. You'll get out to pay. There are hazards all around so be aware that it's a working mechanics bay (i.e. don't be an idiot). Fantastic service from Angel and team! Appreciated the kindness, attention to detail and expertise. They are very busy and work hard to accommodate every customer. We came in during a Friday lunch rush with a wait time of about an hour. Angel was very helpful and let us know we could make an appointment if we didn't have time to wait. Got me in and out fairly fast. Having had a lot to do this day, that was appreciated. Got the older car oil and service and was happy I had a coupon. They checked nearly everything and the car felt happier when I left. Castrol motor oil is best for your engine; no doubts in my book. Decent service and everyone was really polite. Only one guy here who knows how to properly do an oil change, the master tech. But overall the staff is nice, although extremely lazy. They messed up my skid plate and asked their master tech to do all the work for them. All they eventually did was take the whole thing off. The order is behind because the staff choose to not tell the master tech. I'll change my review once my skid plate is replaced from all the damage of them not properly putting it back on. read more

My car was leaking oil and I had just had an oil change at a Valvoline shop 2 days prior. I needed to find out quick what was going on without driving 20 miles away where I had it done. I pulled in to Jiffy Lube and greeted by Anthony. I explained the problem and he had Sam take a look. Anthony showed me pics from under my car and identified the problem. He was courteous, friendly and professional. They did not charge me for the quick fix and problem solved. To say I was relieved is an understatement! Thank you Anthony for your help and attitude . I came here to get my oil change. My regular spot was closed, due to the pandemic. I'm glad I gave them a shot. They worked in tandem. They were concerned for my well being. They used protective face coverings and gloves. They opened the door for me. That way, I didn't have to touch too many surfaces. The service was top notch. They went over the potential problems, that were coming up. (My car is 10 years old and has high mileage) They took excellent care of me and my car. When I got there they said it would take 30 mins to get me in. Then pulled me right in cause someone left. Then they told me they don't have my oil filter for a Lexus so they can't do an oil change. Seemed scetch to me. First you tell me 30 mins then you pull me right in 2 mins after that. Then tell me you can't see me cause your out of Lexus oil filters. Hmm maybe I'm wrong and it just worked out like that but seemed off to me lol read more

A family member recommended this place. Took my little old car in this morning and I got a bit of attitude from a gal named Delilah. She told me to stay in the car after pulling it in over the open spot with the man inside. Then when she asked me to pop my hood, I did, but she didn't know how to get the hood up. I had to get out and show her how to lift the hood and pointed out the latch so she could pop it open. I almost tripped getting out to show her and she never warned me about the trip hazard until I got out to pay. Thanks for the late notice but I saw it when I got out initially to show her how to pop my hood. It was frustrating since the dealership has done my oil change with no problem, and for less money (half the price). Plus the dealership replaces the air filter for free during the oil change and always knows how to pop the hood. read more

These guys are honest! You can get good service almost anywhere but you cannot find honest service around much.

My car requires full synthetic oil so anywhere I go will be near the $100 range. I had a bad wiper blade and burnt out blinker bulb that I had planned on fixing myself because I figured I'd be up-charged. To my pleasant surprise, only $6 for the bulb and $10 for the wiper blade installed. I can't remember the guy's name, but he called me to keep me updated on what they were going to do and asked if I wanted to proceed with their proposed work. He also called to let me know once my car was done and told me I could take my time since he knew I was out shopping. When I got back, I had a coupon for $18 off, used it with no problem and then they showed me my oil level. When I got back in my car it looks like they washed my windows and vacuumed the inside. Not sure why this location has so many negative reviews. My experiences have been mostly positive. Yes, they always try to up-sell you over priced items, but you have to be firm at such places. Also, be aware they have some flexibility in their prices so don't just pay what they ask.. negotiate. Here are a couple of my experiences to share: 1) One time when they changed the oil on my car something was not done properly. A half day later I was on the freeway when my instrument panel went haywire. Something was wrong in the oil system. I immediately pulled off the freeway and onto a side street. Oil was coming out the bottom of my engine! Obviously I was quite angry about this and called this Jiffy Lube immediately. Long story short: the manager came out personally and worked on the car. They then brought it back to the store to double check everything. He also gave me a free oil change coupon. Was I thrilled at the obvious incompetence? No. Was I happy that the manager took care of the situation and stood behind their work? Yes. That's why I still get my oil changed here. 2) Today I was at this location to get my wife's oil changed. I was already out and about when she called me to say we had a $20 coupon for a Firestone oil change. When I stopped at Jiffy Lube and told them, they knocked the $39 oil change down to $29. Wasn't worth driving home over $10. Nice of Jiffy Lube to do that. 3) Also today, they showed me my wife's cabin air filter was DISGUSTING. It definitely needed changing. However, the normal price was $39 for this. A FILTER! The manager offered to do it for $29 but a quick online search showed Pep Boys had it for $15. The install took me 2 minutes. Saved $25 (off the normal Jiffy Lube price) by doing it myself. Don't let them up-sell you! Final comments: 1) Cleanest bathroom I've ever seen at a car maintenance shop outside of Mercedes. 2) Free K-Cup coffee and 2 TV's to watch while you wait. read more

This place definitely changed management or something. I've always went here for my oil change, always super friendly. So kind and helpful. I recently came back after some time and what I noticed first was, nobody is wearing a mask. Ok, fine its no problem because I am and thats all I can do. But the guy helping me already seemed irritated. After 5 minutes of checking my oil and what is needed, a group of men came to my window to tell me they "don't have oil that is going to be good enough for me." Which I replied, "oh ok, well do you know where I can go that will have what is needed for my car then? (Land rover range rover)" he said "No we don't tell people who our competitors are." And I just said "ok, thank you anyway." And left. Then realizing, wow that was so weird? I've never been rejected as a paying client here. I went to a different shop C & M Automotive down Los Angeles, and they even said it sounded like they flat out rejected me after knowing exactly what oil my car takes- which isn't anything crazy at all. Giving this more thought and gut feeling, I think I was just rejected because I wore a mask lol. Long story short, how backwards is that. Listen, I take care of myself as far as masks go. I never made a single comment about it. But I just think that's so interesting I'm not the only one in the reviews who feels this way. So if anyone is reading- its not just you. "Sir, you need a new air filter". I've been hearing those words from every single Jiffy Lube I've ever been to since the age of 18. I'm no mechanic, but I do know how to change an air filter, tire, batteries and other small things on a car. So I was surprised to hear that I needed to change my air filter when I recently changed it myself. I had to tell the guy that I would change it myself, but unlike the high-pressure tactics I received from previous Jiffy Lube's this one actually didn't push back or tell me how much my car would deteriorate if I didn't do it RIGHT NOW! In all honesty, this particular location was fast, the staff was friendly and I didn't feel like I'd been taken out ripped off after leaving. Do not go here for an Uber inspection. 1 hour wait. Right off the bat they tell you you pay even if you don't pass. Very shady, so if I pay and they find way to not pass me, so you can go and pay them again. Miguel approached me, he was nice, but that's not professional. Needed to get only an oil change for my car and was so happy that this Jiffy Lube was nearby and open on Sunday! It's been awhile since I took a car to a Jiffy Lube so wasn't sure what the experience would be. The entrance to this location was a bit difficult to get to if you were on the opposite side of LA Ave. I ended up going thru the old movie theater in the back and cam around the block to make a right into the shop. I didn't realize you were supposed to drive up to the area where they service the car, so was thrilled that the technicians guided me in with patience. (LOL! Good thing I had all those drive-thru car washes as practice.). Dalton was very professional and explained what service/oil grade was best recommended for my car year/model. I did not feel pressured at all in any way to choose a specific brand/type. He also pulled out my air filter and recommended that to be replaced (I agreed, but told him I was expecting to do that with the next big service. I also declined the tire rotation, since that was also planned at the next service). He estimated 15min turn-around for the entire service, and completed all service check-list items under than time.
