Terrible service! I took my car in for an oil change at the jiffy lube down the road from this location. I was told my oil was fine but needed a new filter which they didn't have. They sent me to this location. The guy st this location was arrogant and rude to not only me but his coworkers. He bait and switched me on a coupon I was told I could use. He tried to tell me I needed new wipers, I had just had them replaced two weeks prior. Claimed they checked my brakes and brake lights. They did not, I watched the entire time. Told me I needed a new filter, my filter was almost spotless. Never again will I use any Jiffy lube. Absolute scam artists. read more

Don't buy any parts, they over charge and when you point it out they become hostile. Don't trust the people here, just do an oil change and get out. 19.99 for a radiator cap that you can buy for $6. Sketchy place. Manager came back with air filter and cabin filter, claiming they both need replacement - opening filters was not authorized He offered "deal" to replace cabin filter for about $100 - cost of filter is $10.99 in O'Reilly across the street. Much later I found that the air filter cover was loose. It turned out that both screws, holding the cover, were undone - it was held only by the hinge! I went to check cabin filter housing and found that they bent the pin holding storage compartment cover dumper and itself was not put back properly. Stay away from them!!! read more

I've been going to this location for years. They are helpful and polite. The price seems like it's going up, but they offer service.

At first I was very impressed with the service I was provided that was until two days after my visit. My car was making a funny noise like it needed power steering fluid( funny they said they checked that). I watched them the whole time while servicing my vehicle. I looked up online how to check my power steering fluid and in order to do that you have to remove the plastic cover that is on top of the engine. They never did that while I was watching them. It was bone dry!!! I had no problems whatsoever until I visited them. No it's leaking power stering fluid and I have to take it into the dealership to have it fixed. When I called the denied it was there problem and said they couldn't do anything and had no notes that it was leaking when i brought it in two days before. I like 1 miles from work so it's pretty impossible that magically happened in 3 miles. So not going back ever again! read more

I had an oil change today and yes they tried to sell me stuff I didn't need but that's not my complaint... The manager, CHRIS at the Tigard location, is a total jerk to his employees. I opted to stay in my vehicle and while my service was taking place I observed Chris yelling orders and pointing at his people to do things ... a totally disrespectful manager and as I was pulling out I told him he was a disrespectful jerk and explained why... his response was "have a nice day"... I'm sure he's been confronted about his attitude before but I'm guessing this angry man will never change but I for one will NEVER return ... wishing everyone there would walk out and complain to management for having a hostile workplace, sad! read more

I pulled up to several young men working about the garage. One hurried over and asked me what I needed......my license plates put on. I know I know. Shut up... Anyway, the guy kinda giggled at how easy it was and how fast it was and let me laugh and myself instead of feeling embarrassed. When I asked how much, he just waved me off and opened my car door for me, like a gentlemen. This was a super young kid that conducted himself as though he owned the shop. I recently took my GL 550 to the jiffy lube closest to my house for an oil change. I was doing it to save time, but they seemed knowledgeable and it was so much cheaper than the dealership I go to. So I took a chance and went back for brake pads and rotars all the way around. It was at jiffy lube half the time and was about half the cost. And yes everything was done perfectly. I am stoked. I went in to get my front headlight changed. The attempted to change it in the parking lot, and weren't able to replace the cover. They asked me to pull into one of the garage spots, and didn't inform the man below that I wasn't there for an oil change, so he proceeded to change my oil. They stopped him and he was upset saying this miscommunication happens frequently. They also reassured me that they would top off my oil. When the headlight cover was replaces, I pulled out of the garage and the strangest noise was coming from my car. The man below didn't replace a part correctly, causing the noise. Once that was fixed, left. Fast forward two weeks and my car is experiencing a ton of issues. A mechanic takes a look at my oil saying it is extremely low. I wasn't due for an oil change for another 3,000 miles. Coincidence? read more

I used to go to jiffy lube with my dad as a kid. It was always real fast, in and out no hassle. I don't know if times have changed or if it's because I'm a woman but every single time, this time almost aggressively, I'm treated like I don't know what I'm talking about and the upsale pressure is just so disgusting. I mentioned I was going to have my mechanic look at my transmission fluid, I knew it was a dark pink/brown color and I was asked by the technician or whatever you want to call these people why I don't just have my mechanic do my oil changes too. Well I guess I will now. I trust him not to try to sell me things I don't need. "Your brake fluid is bad." "No it's not." "You want me to show you?" Listen. I know when my brake fluid was replaced. It's not bad. Just because I have ovaries doesn't mean you can talk me into a service I don't need by being condescending. And then they asked me to leave a Google/yelp review. Felt so safe here during Covid, and they got me totally taken care of for a longer car trip that I needed to take. So friendly and professional, didn't try to oversell me anything, but also made sure I got everything taken care of! And personally saw them disinfecting areas, maintaining social distancing, and wearing masks. read more

I'm not rating their quality but rather the experience. I came in for a brake inspection as I thought I was hearing the distinctive sound of the brake indicator letting me know it's about that time. I said I was in a rush and had no time for the brakes but they insisted they could do it in time and went ahead. The guy was pretty pushy and insistent. I wish I would have waited because midas across the street is much cheaper and they even resurface rotors. I feel kind of jipped. I gave 2 stars because they did get me out in time for my next meeting. read more

Took my girlfriend's car in for a basic oil change. After I saw it finished, it was pulled forward like all the others that had finished. Apparently, nobody told the guy who bills out the customer that it was done. In the waiting room, I was out of sight, and apparently the car sitting by itself didn't get noticed. Within seconds, I heard a few employees come back inside behind the counter, and begin talking in obscenities as if they were alone. When someone finally noticed I was still in the waiting room, there was no apology for the wait or the conversation I overheard. The driver's side window was left down, and there were smudges where the reminder sticker goes in the window. Reaffirms why I prefer to change my own oil. read more

Great place to get your oil changed! Staff is friendly and informed me of the promotion they were doing for a 50/50 blend synthetic oil change for my car. I had Blaine help me out and he was great! He had my car ready in under 15 minutes and only paid $59.99 with the discount. My boyfriend and I left very satisfied with the service we received. They didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need, which I really appreciated. Waiting area is nice offering complimentary drinks and television. read more

We visited on 06/16/2020. My husband and I, along with our 6 year old child, went to this location (HWY 99 in Tigard) to get an oil change. There was already a customer's vehicle in the bay, getting serviced. The manager Chris was arguing with the customer about the fault of an employee giving a wrong price quote. The customer wanted the service done with the price he was quoted. But, when the manager found out, he flipped out and said absolutely not. 1) the manager Chris, did NOT have to be rude to the customer. 2) Chris did NOT have to raise his voice to the customer. 3) The manager Chris did NOT need to argue with the customer. 4) Chris did NOT have to use cuss words when speaking about the customer to his coworkers, INFRONT of the customer. The manager kept saying that it's NOT his problem that the customer got the wrong price quote. The manager kept saying, and I quote, "I really don't give a f**k if the guy thinks I'm an a$$hole. I'm not a f**king a$$hole. But he can think that all he wants." The manager Chris kept saying that he isn't going to give free services. And the customer kept insisting that he wasn't looking to get free services, he was just wanting what he was quoted. The manager was so loud and angry, he made my daughter scared and she cried. Never will we return to this location. The customer did nothing wrong. He was being very calm when he was being yelled at. This was very disrespectful, beyond disappointing, and very uncalled for. I felt that this was a racial situation. My husband agreed as well. The manager, was beyond nice to the caucasians that were around, and this particular customer was Hispanic. They helped get a lot of work done that my car needed and even helped me save some money because I didn't have a lot. Went in for a simple oil change, I thought everything was fine, my husband drove the car to work and it started to smoke, we ended up taking it into a shop the next day to see what was wrong. Come to find out that Jiffy had not tightened the oil filter and oil was spilling all over the engine. Now we get to watch the car smoke for the next week while the oil burns off from the engine. Will not be going back to this place anytime soon!!!! read more

Absolutely horrible place! I came in to change the oil in my Chevy Tahoe. I know that they will typically provide some recommendations on what items need to be serviced, etc. I told them that I was just there to get my oil changed, but if there was anything else that they recommended to be done, have it printed it out, along with an estimate so i can discuss with my husband and come back when I had more time. So, they did that, they changed my oil and i thought everything was great. Well -- they drive my car out of the changing area, i get in to start it and the battery is dead. I talked to the tech, he runs out to get this tester -- hooks it up to the battery then tells me that the other tech made a mistake and that my battery needed to be changed ASAP. Naturally, I was upset and i thought it was highly suspicious as well. They were going to charge me like $130 for it or so, and I said, well, this is important let's get it done now. After thinking about it, i thought -- this doesn't feel right. I immediately told the manager that i had changed my mind -- so they jumped the car and off I went. Well, i visited Jiffy Lube in June and it's October -- we haven't had any issue with the battery at all. I think they drained it while they were changing the oil in my car and then tried to use some scare tactics to get some additional sales from me by forcing me to change my battery. I will never go back to this place again. I was there with my infant and i'm absolutely convinced they just thought " oh, here's a sucker that we can scare into spending more money." read more

I had a rock chip in the windshield. I saw a sign that read rock chip repair at Jiffy lube for $19.99. The service man told me if I paid cash it was $19.99 but tried to talk me into using my insurance. I sat in the waiting area for 15 minutes before another service man told me the price went up to 49.99! Wow price jump of 30 bucks in 15 minutes!! But tried hard to have me put it on my insurance ?? This used to be a great place but has gone downhill. The owner Tim doesn't seem to want to fix his employee issues. I have been a customer of this location for years. Today was the second time recently that I have had a problem there. His employees have a bad habit of laughing at customers, talking badly about them and just plain goofing off. Today I wanted an additive added with my oil. Usually not a problem the employee that did it shook his head no the entire time and made me feel like I really put him out. I think this store is making the Jiffy Lube brand look really bad. read more

I was pleased. Friendly, quick and thorough service for $19. My dad was pleased with his oil change as well. Though he did have an issue. He came to pick up his car after the oil change and noticed the GPS was missing. He asked them about this. Now he didn't accuse anyone of anything, he just asked because he was rather confused. So they go upstairs where they have cameras and they show that he drove in....without the GPS! He thanked them and he drove off, scratching his head. It wasn't till many many hours later, he realized he forgot he had put the GPS in the other car. He's always putting it in his car then my moms and vice versa. Then he forgets! I think it's time a 2nd GPS be purchased, don't you think? read more
