Things I like about this jiffy lube location (Broadway and Prudence), they have good customer service and they are fast, I rarely have to wait. I see people complain "its not 15 minutes", have you gone anywhere else? The last place I went took an hour and a half. At jiffy lube I was in and out fast, plus they offered services that my car was due for but didn't make me feel like I'm being forced into it. The technician that helped me today was named Autumn, professional and helpful, I would return again. The down side to jiffy lube, the price. Even with a $15 off coupon, my synthetic blend oil change and air filter replacement ran me $88. I wish they would have better deals on oil changes. So if you have some extra cash to spend and are in a rush, they have good service, they're fast and they know what they are doing. read more

I have been using this location for the last couple of years and have been satisfied until the last few visits. On my last visit I wasn't greeted for 30 min and at no point was I asked what I was there for. Eventually somebody asked if I wanted the same oil and tried upselling me on a service. I was there for an oil change and a few other services but was so disappointed with the customer service I just wanted to leave as soon as possible with just the oil change. I usually take my car to the dealership when she was like 6 years younger & although dealership check-ups & oil changes are always a worry-free experience, they're pricey so now I opted to do oil changes at Jiffy Lube & today they diagnosed I need to change radiator coolant & air filter as well. After explaining what my car needs & me going back and forth, we agreed on what needs to be done. Very patient crew team here! Went to the Jiffy Lube at 7443 E Broadway Blvd on Monday December 2nd around 3:00 P.M. A gentlemen who appeared to be the manager came out to see which option I wanted. He mentioned the 100,000 mile high mileage fee, which I told him wouldn't be necessary since my car only had about 17,000 miles. No problem; he was just giving me the options. I told him I just wanted the basic oil change for about $21.00 and change. When he came back in he turned the computer monitor around to show me "what they had done". He said it was and extra charge of $4.94 because my 2012 Dodge Journey took 5.9 qts of oil instead of 5 qts. As I looked at the screen with him I noticed there was a charge for the oil filter and another charge of about $10.00 for a "special oil filter charge". I asked him why there was a charge for an oil filter and another $10.00 for a special oil filter that I knew he hadn't done. He got that ooops look on his face and tried to be smooth as he said, "Oh, that charge shouldn't even be there. I'll take that off." Ya think? If a man were to send his wife in to get an oil change they probably would have got away with it. I can't help but wonder how many times this has happened and they did get away with it. Inquiring minds want to know. There was a young man, a woman and a young mother with her baby in the waiting room at the time. I suggested to them that they look closely at their bill. read more

I am very disappointed that I'm even writing this review. I used to work for jiffy lube and I'm not sure what has gone wrong. Lack of training suits it best. I came here for a simple oil change that I should have just done myself. I live in an apartment so it's not the easiest. My husband and I stopped here for a quick service and I ended up having to get my car fixed and I have spent $1,031 that I'm waiting to get refunded from corporate. We came by on a Sunday(11/3/19) afternoon and spent $63.60. Once I left my car was fine, til Monday morning. I get to work which is about 30 min away and it was cold(11/4/19) once my car got up to temp it started to over heat. I had to pull over and I freaked out and opened the hood.. to find that my radiator cap was COMPLETELY left off on the reservoir. All my coolant was gone and I was certain my car was trashed. I added some water and got to work right down the road and ended up taking it to a place nearby to get a coolant flush which was $100. Then my car ran out of coolant again on Wednesday and I found out that due to my car over heating my water pump took a dive and I had to get that and the thermostat replaced at a Chevy dealership which totaled out to $931.00. And the whole time I've been in contact with jiffy because today is the 14th and I have yet to receive word from management on the update of my refund. Not saying this is a bad place to go to, but it seems they need some more training. If you do get service done here. Open your hood and check real quick that "all your caps are tight". read more

I agree with Jack C. -- a pleasant experience, as oil changes go. Cushy chairs, nice people, corny jokes (that would be the very sweet Dan), and fast service. They checked with me about everything they were going to do ... they recommended a high mileage oil for my 87,000+ mile car. Sounds right. They found the radiator fluid was almost all gone. Gulp! Recommended flushing and refilling. Okay. Then they discovered the a crack in the radiator cap that may have caused the fluid to evaporate. They replaced it for $10. Check! Could I have paid less at Kragen? Of course! But, it was done. That mattered to me. Altogether, my bill was about $150. Higher than I expected? Yes. But I felt well and fairly taken care of -- not at all bait-and-switched. Will be back. read more

I am a female & was treated like I was stupid. Employee showed me an air filter & told me it was "dirty & needed changing for only $50". I took it from him & blew out the mequite leaves & handed it back & said "there all clean". MY AIR FILTER WAS CHANGED LAST WEEK AT MY MECHANIC'S SHOP! It was nice & white! My mechanic told me I needed a transmission fluid flush. Guess what? My truck needed the "upgraded fluid". I told them not to perform the service. On my way home my check engine light came on. When my husband got home he asked where I got the oil changed it was leaking on our driveway. Took it back & guess what they forgot to tighten the oil filter. This is an update about my previous review. Jiffy Lube did try to contact me through Yelp but they made quick resolve of the issue by contacting my mother (the car owner) sooner. I'm grateful they were able to resolve the issue immediately. She received a call from Jiffy Lube on August 12th and they were apologetic to her and offered to send a refund. She accepted their apology and agreed to the refund. Yesterday, a check was received from Jiffy Lube in the amount of $90.39. I have to say it's very professional of them to apologize to both me and her. I think they have integrity for fully resolving any previous issues. read more

-5 if I could Attention Ladies! Beware of this shop. Shady characters (Alex) and tech with chops on his face, if that is even his name. I went there to get an oil change and to top off my transmission fluid only. Back story on myself, I worked at Jiffy Lube and Valvoline Instant Oil Change when I was 16. I am a female and barely 5 feet tall. I was a hood tech and pit boss. So I know the system. But of course they didn't know that. He wanted to charge me 39 for a full service. Meaning they would check all the fluids. I wasn't willing to pay that much considering I just wanted the transmission fluid topped off and oil change. The 25 dollar price was reasonable. So I changed my mind and just asked for them to top off my oil. This is were its gets shady. Alex told me they put a quart of oil in. I asked him what kind, and he stated 5w 30. And he told me that they tighten my oil filter since it was loose. How nice of them. I knew that grade of oil is only recommended for cars under 100,000 miles. My 1991 jeep has over 200,000 miles. I only put 10w 30 in my jeep. Wasn't the end of the world so I waited for my jeep to come back around. Something told me to check my oil myself. I lifted the hood only to find that they left the oil cap off. Went back in the store and told Alex the tech left it off. Went back out and checked the oil. I had no oil on the stick. It never got topped off. So of course I went back and told Alex I had no oil. I saw the tech outside and was like WTF! There's no oil in my jeep. Go check it yourself. You were suppose to top it off?! So the tech tells me he didn't know of course. I guess they assumed since I'm a female I wouldn't second guess/ check. He checks my oil and says he getting a quart right now. My engine was completely empty. I needed at least 4 quarts. Of course at this point I don't trust them. But since they wasted my time, I watch him get the 1 quart of oil and waited for him to walk out. Who knows what they would put in my jeep at this point. I told him I wouldn't let him touch my jeep again, but since he wasted my time I wanted to waste his. I had to complain. I would have drove off on an empty tank causing major engine damage had I not checked their work. And I went and question Alex. I wanted his name. He wouldn't give it to me at first. He wanted to know why. I told him I wanted to write a complaint. Then I asked why would you put 5w 30 in my jeep if you're suppose to use 10w 30 with vehicles over 100,000 miles. It was like seeing a deer in the headlights. I didn't get an answer. I guess they thought I was just another female driver. I ended up driving half a block to the gas station to add the oil myself. I had smoke coming out of my engine block after removing the oil cap. I ended up paying 26 dollars for 4 quarts. Had they just did their jobs with integrity, you would have had my business. You know, even at 16 I had more integrity than these guys do in their 30's. I'm not sure they know what that word means. So this is what I assumed happened, they pulled my jeep in, dropped my filter, and let it drain. Since I change my mind, they put the filter back on and said it was loose and did me a flavor by tightening it. Didn't bother to replace the oil lost from dropping the filter, or put my oil cap back on. Figured they said they topped it off just to get rid of me after I wasn't willing to do the full service. Unbelievable. Don't go there ladies! read more

I've been here a couple times and haven't had an issue. The AC in the waiting room is fine, and they have some new cushy leather chairs in there. People were nice and gave discounts on just about everything they did to the car. They showed me prices before doing any work, so no surprises when I had to pay. Also the guy at the counter made some pretty great corny jokes when I was checking out. I know oil changes aren't real thrilling, but nothing to complain about here! read more
