I went to Midas first and was turned away by the staff telling me that they were overloaded today since they had 12 oil changes lined up for the day(Really; 12!) so I left to Jiffy Lube; this place is cleaner and the workers rock! I wasn't even out of my car in the parking lot and a service worker was already greeting me and took my keys. He showed my son and I where the lobby was and told us there were free bottles of water and coffee; help myself. While inside the service writer gave my son a coloring page with crayons and actually interacted with him like he was a human(he is 4) and not an inconvenience like most business'. Went there for an oil change! It was a little hard to get to coming from depot street, but two u-turns later I was there. Before I even fully unbuckled, boom! A guy was right at my door. While normal people wouldn't be startled, I was thankful my insta-ninja chop button was off. Still, it was a friendly gesture, he walked me in, offered me coffee and water, and started to service my car! To be completely honest, my car needed more maintenance.. I knew it needed maintenance, and I was hoping that maybe they wouldn't notice so I could continue to live my life in ignorance.. Alas! They pinpointed my need to change my transmission fluid, my wiper blades that have been poopy for awhile, and my disgusting filters! A+ for that alone! Aggh alright, so I caved and got it done. ] Compared to other shops, this place is definitely the friendliest, by far. However, it will cost you. I was lucky to get a military discount of 15%. Woohoo! But I do know another shop closer to my apartment that would've probably done all of this for a little less had I made the effort to call. Sigh. For what it's worth, they did complete their job a lot faster than any other place I know. Said it'd take 1.5 hrs.. I was out in honestly 40-50 minutes. Everyone was nice. Sara, who was at the front desk, was very personable.. Honestly I never felt creeped out or judged by anyone there. If I had said no to a product they wanted me to buy, I honestly don't think there would be any push and I *LOVE* that. That alone is the reason I will be back! I infact rejected getting a tune up on my spark plugs because I had just replaced them when I got my headgasket replaced, and they took that into consideration and didn't just treat me like a dumb customer that didn't know better. They let me see how it was at the end and decide (even though it would've been easier for them to just do it while they were doing everything else!) At the end of our appointment, I was walked out to my car, visually shown the work that was done and all the fluids topped off, and I was off! My car works like a champ now. I think they might've fixed my hood release latch that's been broken for a year too which I didn't see on the papers. That or cast some magic spells on it, because it works now! I'm glad I listened to these yelp reviews. Sometimes I feel misleaded by the reviews I read on here, (coughVacavilleAutoprocough), but this place is legit. The extra couple of bucks to be treated well and have an honest conversation with the people treating your car is well worth it! If anyone goes up to me and says, "Yo, K.T. what's your favorite place to go get preventive maintenance done in the Fairfield/Vacaville area?" Um, here! Duh! Do it! WOW! Is all I can say about my experience at this JiffyLube. They might as well have rolled out a red carpet for me since that's how important that made me feel. I was greeted very promptly as soon as I rolled up and shortly after they inspected my car and called me up to go over recommended services. This establishment is professional and friendly. They met me in the drive and asked what they could do for me. They had me in and out in only 20-30 minutes. They did a tire rotation also. I was permitted to observe their work through the plate glass window. If you have seen the movie "Back to the Future", and recall the service station seen in which Marty observes the fleet of men service the customer in only minutes, doing the windows and tires as well as pumping the gas, then you will feel as though you've been transported back in time as well. I had been going to this Jiffy Lube for a while and built a repoire and trust with them but that was a MISTAKE. Bought a new car and I took it to them for its first oil change due to the convenience factor even though the dealership will maintain it for free for two years. When I picked up my car and went to pay...... MAJOR STICKER SHOCK!!! due to the fact that they had to use synthetic oil (which I didn't know) I get that it is my responsibility to know what kind of oil and how often it needs to be changed, however given the established repoire I feel that it would have been good business practice for them to have extended me the courtesy of a phone call to say 'hey Jennifer you're at 4,000 miles and this vehicle does NOT require an oil change for 6,000 MORE MILES. $77 is a lot of money when you're on a budget!!!! I let them know that I felt WAY OVER SOLD and very unhappy with what happened. This oil change happened on 8/23/2013 and it is 8/28/2013 so apparently since no one has contacted me to even attempt to remedy this on any level, THEY DON'T NEED MY BUSINESS nor the business of my family and friends. read more

Started having car issues after I got an oil change here. They try to upsell you on everything, which is annoying. Went in for an oil that came with the free "inspection." I now have a car that wont start a day later and I dont think it's a coincidence. Never going back. Edit: Turns out they never tightened the battery connections during their inspection. Thanks to that, we had to pay for a tow. Definitely don't recommend. read more

This is the Jiffy Lube to go to for all your car needs. I always get my oil change here and everyone is always nice and welcoming. They offer water or coffee. They also make suggestions, but don't force you. They give their honest opinion and make sure you are taken care of. You are given the choice to choose their opinions for your car needs, but at the same time they do not force you to do it. I always sometimes pass on a new air filter and they tell me I can wait until next oil change and that it's still good enough to wait. I appreciate them letting me know the situations and helping me out. I never wait too long or too less. This is the only place to go to for oil change, tire rotation, etc. I highly suggest the E. I have been here about 3-4 times and they are always professional and friendly. For example, a rude customer walks in on a Saturday and complains about the wait time. Every consumer knows that if you walk in to any store on a weekend, expect to have a bit of a wait. The receptionist was still professional and gracious. Everyone in the waiting was rolling their eyes at the lady's entitlement.Anyways, the wait is around 30 mins to an hour, but that depends on how many people are there. Took my 2016 Honda Civic there to get the oil changed. It uses a high viscosity oil because it's turbo-charged. I was told the best would be their synthetic oil..OK I thought, I do a lot of driving on my commute so why not. Quoted $99, I thought it was high, but I wanted the convenience of having it done now rather than waiting to go to Honda ($79.) and have it done. Immediately after the oil change my gas mileage which had been steady at 39 mpg began to fall. Within a week it was down to 35 mpg. I took it to Honda to see what was wrong. They said I was sold the wrong oil for my car, not the oil my engine calls for but a standard 10W 30 which will ruin an advanced engine like mine. I was told by Jiffy Lube the high price of the oil change was because my engine needed a special oil...I guess they just decided to charge me for the special oil but give me the cheap stuff! Jiffy Lube can't be trusted. read more

My wife recently took our VW Passat to have the check engine light checked and also to get an oil change. they treated my wife with respect and wee very helpful with all of the questions she had. Not only did they check the code on the check engine light , they saw a few bulbs were out replaced those , even vacuumed the car , cleaned the Windows and even topped off the windshield wiper fluid ! I let them know I needed an oil change and my tires rotated, the mechanic I was talking to, walked me inside, opened the door for me and keep the know it would be about 20 minutes. You can watch them perform the work from a monitor in the lobby and I can tell you they were very thorough and speedy. Went here for a quick oil change and ended up spending $100. My center brake light was out, I needed a new air filter and I had my coolant topped off, as well as the oil change so I guess $100 isn't too bad. The oil change itself was about $60 because I decided to use to recommended "high mileage" oil. As soon as I drove up the driveway, the staff was very attentive and nice. Getting my oil change is beyond a chore. I avoid it as long as I can. It's not an enjoyable experience in my mind. Being short on time but having to do it I headed over there after my sons hockey practice. Much to my dismay there was a line but due to my long commute it was unavoidable. From the time I pulled up till the time I pulled out the customer service was EXCELLENT. Ryan was friendly and you can tell he really enjoys his job. He was the only person I was in contact with today due to the fact all the others where hard at work getting people in and out. Really appreciated the service by this particular location. We are actually from New Mexico & here temporarily taking care of a relative with dementia. Needless to say very trying times. We have always had our oil changes with Jiffy Lube in Rio Rancho New Mexico on numerous cars with no issues. However it seems the New Mexico location had stripped out the oil drain plug on our Mazda CX-5 & this location at 1st was not able to remove it. Told us it would need to be drilled out & plug replaced. Well they did manage to get the old one out & replaced it free of charge. We are very appreciative of the service provided to us & would highly recommend going here to get your oil changed. I had an incredible experience here when I got my oil changed. There wasn't a wait, which was nice, and I was greeted quickly. Inside was fresh coffee and a free toy basket for my 2-year-old to pick out a free toy (hooray for monster trucks!)
