I had a bad experience with the Jiffy Lube in Fairfield, but after speaking to the owners of the company, I agreed to try them again. One franchise location does not dictate the atmosphere of the others. Although I am loath to go back to the one in Fairfield, I decided to try the one in Vacaville due to the high ratings for this location. I'm incredible happy that I did. The guys were friendly, professional, and efficient. I want to particularly give props to Ryan, the manager, for his outstanding customer service, professionalism, and upbeat personality. It's clear that he loves his job by the way he operates and makes all the customers feel appreciated. He took me through the entire process and let me know what all the fees were going to be. They were honest about what my car needed and what it didn't need (such as my car doesn't need a tire rotation, it needs new tires). Ryan also showed me everything under the hood once my oil change and engine cleaning was complete to make sure that everything was in order. It was a great job all around. read more

I just had my oil change and tire rotation here the other day. I have been to this location a couple of times and I have always received good service. I did have an issue on my recent visit where my coupon wasn't applied to my bill even though the employee whom rang me up said that it was taken off my bill. I was also charged for a service that wasn't disclosed by the same employee. However the reason that I gave this business 5 stars was the service that I received from Don when I brought up my concerns. He refunded for the service and took responsibility even though he had nothing to do with the issue. I like to judge business not on perfection but when an issue does arise how it is handled. This was my first visit to Jiffy Lube and was pleased with the customer service. I liked how I was greeted as soon as i drove up and someone walked with me to the lobby and offered water or coffee. The oil change was a reasonable amount of time. They also changed my burnt out license plate lights. When I left though my car was running very rough and almost died on me. I took it right back and they were very appologetic and wasted no time hooking it up to the computer to find out what was wrong. I waited about five minutes while they checked it out and fixed it. Must have just been a fluke because it ran fine after that. I plan on making this Jiffy Lube my new place for oil changes. Great customer sercvice and communication. read more

Ive been to a lot of places to get my car serviced an the mechanics weren't very nice and told me things were wrong with my car that didn't even need to be fixed, which is very frustrating but i had a great experience at jiffy lube! Vince and Ryan were extremely nice , and very helpful the customer service was great ! I went in for an oil change and left in a little over 30 minutes ! I was so impressed with the customer service here. As soon as I drove up I was greeted by an upbeat technician named Vince. He walked me in and explained the process. There were several people waiting but he was able to juggle everyone with no problem. You feel welcome and well taken care of. When it was time for my car to be serviced, Vince was very helpful at explaining what needed to be done and I felt comfortable with what he was recommending. Another technician was in and out but always offering drinks when he would see customers waiting. This is definitely a place I will be returning to for my next oil change. A little late, I know. But I got my oil changed there in October 2011 (I also got the tire rotation and battery terminal protection) and it was the worst experience I ever had anywhere. When they were "done" the guy was about to hand me my key but realized they didn't rotate the tires so i had to wait about 15 more minutes. When I got home finally I was about to take out the quarters I had in my cup holder when I saw they were gone! (It was only about $2.50 but still) so I called right away, which was about 10 minutes after I left. The guy I talked to sounded "surprised" and "concerned" but it sounded fake, whatever, he said he'll find out what the deal is and call me right back. He never did. I was so pissed that I just didn't even want to call back just to get another sorry excused for a response so I definitely decided that day to never go back to the Vacaville Jiffy Lube ever again. THEN to make things worse, I looked under my hood a few days after that and I still have a bunch of battery acid around my terminals! Never Again. read more

I have been coming to Jiffy Lube anytime I was living near one. They have lost a customer and I won't ever again recommend them to people. I came here last November to get my oil changed before a big trip. I got there about 45 minutes before they closed which is probably why they did what they did. They got me all set in and went to work. Then the guy comes in and says that the oil plug was almost impossible to get out. They said they would be able to do it but didn't know if they could get it back in and the mechanic had already went home so they didn't want to risk it. Then they asked where I got it done last time and to go back there to get it done because it was either going to need to be re-tapped or I would need a new oil pan. Too bad I live too far away from there now. So I freak out, had to change plans to go on my trip, call around to other places and waited months until I had money in case it was an oil plan replacement. Then I took it to Petrillos where they told me there was absolutely nothing wrong and they were able to change my oil quickly and with ease. Ridiculous. I will now be a loyal Petrillos customer :) read more

Terrible, this is my third time and there is always new staff. Turn around seems very high at this location. Every time I have had to be there for at least 1:45 minutes. I have visited other jiffy lubes and they are more efficient and customer service driven. Extremely disappointed for the third time. read more

I've been to Jiffy lube one other time for an oil change and both times they've been really quick and the people helping out are always super nice. Seriously, one of the best customer service I've had. They also don't pressure me into doing stupid shit that I don't need like getting grade A oil and paying for coolant. read more

I literally just left the shop and have never been more disappointed. In my car owning life I've generally gone to Jiffy Lube for tune ups and oil changes. Yes my car was smogged this past week, and yes it failed due to timing. I came in to get the tune up done so it would rectify the issue and because it was over due anyway. My bad I left the smog stuff in the visor of the car. The mechanic so plainly saw the paperwork (when I got in the paperwork was NOT how I left it) and came back into the shop to tell me he couldn't work on a car that was due for smog soon. It was just unreal I've had my car tuned up right before a smog dozens of times with nothing like this happening. All because I left the paperwork in the car and they rummaged through it. Almost as bad as the 2 instances of my car being broken into and having people rummage through my stuff. I won't be back to Jiffy Lube Vacaville, well I may just not go to Jiffy Lube at all. read more

I take my car here every 5,000 miles or so and because I commute, it equals out to about every 2 months, for the last 4 years. Every time I come to this Jiffy Lube, I am welcomed by friendly people who are outgoing. Today, I was helped by Tiffany who is the complete opposite of everyone who works here. She gave me attitude, had no personality, and did not seem like she wanted to help me. The rest of the service was fine, even though I didn't feel like the lady (Roxie) knew very much when explaining the services done on my car. I ended up here when the shop I had scheduled an oil change at was CLOSED when I arrived, (that's a different story!). From the parking lot of THAT place, I Yelped the closest place for getting the services needed only car. Jiffy Lube was the top choice, with great reviews, so I drove straight there. Before I even finished parking, I had a Jiffy Lube employee waiting outside of my car to greet me. I explained that I needed an oil change, plus my air filters changed. He was very nice & explained that there was currently a 20 minute wait, I told him it was no problem, as I had set aside my entire morning to get this done. I waited & before my car was serviced, I met with another employee to discuss what needed to be done, as well as pricing. Because I checked in on Yelp, I got a great discount! I'm so glad I ended up here. The services I needed done on my car were done efficiently & in good time! Friendly service was a plus, too! read more

I had the best Jiffy Lube experience ever. I came in with an emergency transmission leak, 100 miles from home and it was 45 minutes till closing time. I tried three Jiffy Lubes before stopping at this one and none of them could help me. The three workers actually took time to listen to what I needed and looked to see what they could do to at least get me home. They were so respectful and kind, I could tell that they take pride in their work. I had a stressful day with car troubles and they made me feel taken care of. I was in today for an oil change. The staff was extremely nice and more than eager to help. My only complaint is that once I was greeted in the parking lot I was told to have a seat in the waiting room without any explanation as to what or who I was waiting for. I had never been there before... So I was a little confused. They didn't know my name... What I wanted... And I had no idea what the cost of this oil change was going to be. After watching a few customers before me I began to understand their process. I believe the greeters need to have better communication with their customers. Today was my first time at this location and it's my last. I went in for a quick oil check and tap off... I was told it would be a quick thing to do. I usually go to the Fairfield or Davis location and it takes less than 5 mins. At the vacaville location it took much longer and I noticed the staff would go to my car, leave and chat with other workers then come back. When my car was finally ready, I tried opening the door and it was locked. Apparently the staff member that was helping with my car locked the doors before getting out of the car and left the keys inside. I was then told I had to wait until a different staff member was done with a different car because only one person knew how to pick a lock. Although I did get the service I was requesting, I'm only giving two stars because of the lack of customer service. No apology was given to me and at the very end the staff was very rude and did not even say anything after I thank them. read more

I received OUTSTANDING customer service from two gentlemen on August 25th around 6:00 p.m. Also, the lady who answered the door was very nice and assisted me right away. They actually stayed after their working hours to take a look at my car. Earlier in the day I FIRST went to the Jiffy Lube in Fairfield. Unfortunately they failed to tighten one of the metal pates under my car and as I was on my way home, it started to fall off and drag under my car. I had to immediately pull over to the side and call my insurance for a tow. Since I was in Vacaville at that point, I called the Jiffy Lube there. They were very understanding and said that they would wait for me to get my car to them and tighten anything that was loose underneath. It was a Friday and I know that they had been working all day but still took the time to help me. I didn't happen to catch their names, but I really want to thank them and send a shout out to the Vacaville Jiffy Lube. GREAT JOB! read more
