First let me start off by saying, I've taken 3 different vehicles here in the past when I am too busy to change my oil myself. Time and time again they act as if I am clueless around cars and try to sell me crap I don't need, not to mention the fact that on several occasions they've changed my oil but not the filter. On my newest car, I had to have an engine flush because when I bought it there was synthetic oil in it and after consulting with my mechanic father we determined it was a waste of money to continue doing the synthetic. Fast forward three months later to when I was doing my own oil change and I come to find remnants of synthetic oil in the pan- AFTER I paid an extra $100 for the engine flush. I will NEVER go to this jiffy lube again even if my life depended on it. If you're a woman especially, don't go here. They will take advantage of you and treat you like you're stupid, whether you know what you're talking about or not. read more

Recieved a phone call from Eric after sending a survey review about this Jiffy Lube! The young gentleman that directed my car into the bay WAS DEFINITELY chewing tobacco. You could see the tobacco chew in his lower lip. Eric was only concerned about an employee "spitting" on his floor. NOT the appearance of his employee as the first person a customer sees. EVERY Jiffy Lube I have been to, goes through my car, turns off every light, running lights, dash lights, in the past changed my radio station, taken out my cd if I was playing one, moved my drivers seat and not put it back so I crack my head when I try to get back into my car. They've even gone through my glove box. This shop is no exception. If you want good service, it's not here. read more

I always used to say in my mind "I'd pay $30 just to not listen to their B.S." and get a straight oil change with no relentless selling. It's not worth it. Don't do it. Went to this Jiffy Lube at around 11:30 AM on a Wednesday. When I knew shall he pulled up they directed me in, after I stop they then told me to turn off my car and go wait in the lobby. They didn't offer me to stay in my car, but I opted to anyways. They didn't bother checking any of my lights are signals. As I was sitting there they begin doing the normal routine opening of the hood checking things out. They asked me for my mileage. The first gentleman that approach my window did not introduce himself he grabbed the sticker off my windshield and begin going to the computer. He came back and said last time you had conventional oil do you want to stick with that. I said yes and that was the end of the conversation. When the oil change was over, they came back and told me that the Oil change was going to be $29.95. When I said no one told me that, and your sign says it's only $21.99 he proceeded to tell me that he did mention it and insinuated I was a liar. Shortly after another gentleman came in and told me that the first gentleman was having a bad day and he himself didn't hear him mention the price. He apologized on behalf of his manager. I drive a 2015 Fiat 500L trekking and have been taking it to this jiffy lube for every oil change since I purchased it. The last time I came in it was longer than usual service, but I didn't think much of it. This time, I am currently sitting in my car while the service is being performed, I am astonished with how unprofessional and rude the technician is that is changing my oil. I can hear him say, and not even under his breath, "This stupid f**king fiat is going to ruin my day." He has said other blatantly rude things about my car as well throwing the f bomb around like it's nothing. I don't feel comfortable with the service he's providing. Is he even competent? How did he get this job? If you can't work on a car then find a different job. If working on a car is going to ruin your day than get a different job... I will not be coming back to this jiffy lube for another oil change or any other service. I will not recommend this location to anyone for a service. This is probably the worst service I've ever had. The guys that greeted me were nice and friendly, but the guys that took care of my oil change and payment were so fucking rude I was literally shaking with rage. I was talked down to like an idiot because I wanted the cheap oil and was told that getting the cheap oil will just screw up my engine and if that happens then it's on me for getting the cheap stuff. Why even offer the $19.99 oil change if you're just going to shit on people who want it? Then I spoke to the manager and told him how poorly I was treated and he blew me off. I came to this location tonight at 5:50, knowing that the location closed at 7pm. I was greeted and asked what I needed, I let the worker know I needed an oil change and break lights as mine are currently burnt out. He beat around the bush and then told me in a roundabout way that they couldn't help me. There were two cars in the stalls and I would be the third car. He told me they didn't have time to see me. When the "technicians" at this Jiffy Lube told me they topped off all my fluids during the oil change and 15 point inspection, I believed them. But, at 6 on the next work day as I was getting on the freeway, I found that my powersteering was loud and after pulling over to check I found the the fluid level was very low. How could this happen if they did what they said they did? There was not a puddle in my driveway. I find it very disconcerting when I'm told they did something only to find they didn't actually do it. Fact: I know diddly squat about cars. When in the situation of driving up to a car place only to see five guys standing around waiting to help, my natural instinct would be to start panicking about the car talk that is about to go down. Thank goodness this particular Jiffy Lube makes an acceptation to the rules. Over the past year or so I dubbed this my go to place to take care of the car stuff the sticker in the corner of my window reminds me to get done periodically. While I have been to many places in the Couve, this spot has become my favorite simply because of the positive experiences I have had each encounter. No matter what combination of employees are working, every time I go I can bank on a quick and thorough stop. After the initial assessments, someone always spells out all the details of what they see in order to give you options and recommendations a plenty. As an added bonus, when "filtration," "transmission," and other car lingo bombs start dropping, they generally read the dazed and confused look well and respectfully dumb down the car talk so unsavvy car folk (like myself) can better comprehend what in the world they are talking about. I have to give kudos to this particular shop is their customer service. Every time I have been here, the people have been extremely informative (never pushy) on options, super friendly and very laid back. To top it off, once I was grading papers bundled up in my jacket as I waited and one of the guys offered to turn on the heat, even though my wait was less than 10 minutes...and it was JUNE! I think my only real complaint with Jiffy Lube in general is how much they and sell you on things you really don't need and even more so when you area woman that isn't really familiar with cars. Stopped for an oil change, due to Covid could not leave my car which was OK. Actually service was much faster then usual. Normally when I go in for an oil change it is an hour or more, this time less than 15 minutes. Granted I did not get the car vacuum and window wash I usually get but I was willing to give that up to get out of there sooner. Gotta wonder if maybe this will affect how future business is done after "social distancing" is over. read more

I was on my way to the airport when something flew in front of me on the freeway and got lodged under my car. It started making a popping sound and shaking my whole car. I saw Jiffy Lube, pulled in and asked Michael if he could take a look. They were closed, and I'm sure dying to get home, but he not only pulled my car in to take a look, he also drove around in it with me so he could hear the problem (he couldn't see anything wrong). Turns out, whatever it was must've fallen loose while getting here. Michael even checked my oil! I am so grateful and I really appreciate this kind of customer service. Is this Jiffy Lube location the closest to me? No. But I will be making it my go-to. And was quick, thorough, informative, and had me in and out for an oil change, tire rotation, and brake fluid change quick as a bunny. She pointed put discounts where I didn't know there were any without making me feel swindled out of cash for unnecessary services. 10/10 would get oil changed here again. read more

Absolutely the worst service ever!!!! The guy who claimed he was the manager "Mike" was very rude! Eric said one thing was done to our vehicle and it was not. We called back and got the Mike dude who I can see why only had a jiffy lube job and I'm still shocked by that. He was a complete incompetent asshole!!! He does not have an once of customer service in his bones and I'll guarantee he will not be around long with that attitude. I just hope the younger workers who had way more customer service skills than this moron don't let his bad management skills rub off on them. They gained a second star due to the fact that I'm pretty sure they found the drain bolt which allowed them to do my oil change. As usual the guy brings me over to the car and tries to tell me everything that is wrong with it and the exorbitant amount that they will change. I told him that I didn't care to fix a single problem that they found as I am just here for the oil change. He then Shows me the cabin air filter, which is terrible looking. I ask him how much yo replace it. I know the standard air filters are about $10 if they were to charge me $15 I'd pay the connivence fee and just have him put a clean one back in. The guy told me that they replace them for $40 bucks. I told him for the $30 markup I'd just drive to the parts store buy a $40 K&N filter open the glove box and clip in the new filter myself. This is when the sliminess of their sales practices kicked in. He began to tell me that theirs was a great value. He told me that K&N filters were $100 he knows because he just bought one. I told him he got ripped off because I bought one a year ago and it was $40. He then pointed out a few small chips in the front windshield and tried to grimace at how bad they were. I told him that I literally just left the windshield repair shop 10 mins ago to fix the rock chip that needed attention. When I was at the rock chip repair shop I pointed out the other 3 and they told me they were cosmetic and didn't need to be filled. Again when I told him that he questioned if I went to a reputable repair place. These guys are so hungry to make a buck they'll tell you just about anything to get you to buy their extremely overpriced services. They broke my window and refused to fix it. Never coming back here. They are usually decent but always over bearing and try to charge for more things. Usually their service is poor but this time it was over the top. Would not recommend at all. My car was not leaking oil only coolant before and now both leaks are in different locations and dripping more heavily than ever. Went there for an oil change and tire rotation and the man gave me a price of $39 with a coupon. The next dude came up a bit later and said now my total was $54. I'm giving two stars because the people that helped me today were very nice, efficient and my wait time was shorter than expected. First thing I noticed while walking up was that only a select few of employees working were wearing masks, and the ones that were wearing them, did not cover their noses. I was promptly helped and then escorted into the waiting area, and there was a customer inside with a mask but not over his face or nose. Another customer came in after awhile to be checked out, and did not have a mask at all. What looked like the manager at the counter, didn't say a word, continued to help and BS with her. (At this point I would have left and taken my vehicle elsewhere to get an oil change but they had already taken my car and started working on it.) That was a big red flag for me. That is unacceptable. This is an essential business that MUST follow the COVID-19 guidelines to keep everyone safe. It made me extremely uncomfortable to know that the employees had been in/around my car when it is clear that they do not care about Covid-19 guidelines or the health of their customers. A lot of people don't give a sh** about the virus here in Vancouver, but I expected more from this location. read more

There is an update to this review at the bottom. I was given an upsell of fixing two rock chips on my car and was told by Chad and Caleb that I would not be charged by my insurance company because it was a "no fault" issue and I could have up to 3 per year before my rates went up. I gave them my insurance card and sat down with my husband to wait for the approval. I was given my insurance card back and when I asked if everything was ok when they called the insurance I was told "oh yes, it was approved" so I allowed them to proceed with the repair. Friday, the 1st of December approximately 2 weeks after the repair, I received a phone call from my insurance company about the claim. I asked what claim they were talking about and they told me the windshield repair. I told them the story about stopping for the oil change and the offer of the window repair, giving the employees my card and that the Jiffy Lube employees said they called for approval before the repairs commenced. No such call ever was made to my insurance company. They only receive a bill for the repair and knew nothing else about it. That is NOT good business Jiffy Lube of Vancouver. This kind of greasy upselling tactic by their employees is completely unacceptable. I gave them my insurance card to call for window approval in good faith and was lied to. My insurance company never received any notification and I am lucky that it won't be billed to me but that is not always the case with other Insurance companies or other customers. Beware, your insurance may send you the bill! In addition, most insurance companies only pay $60 for window repairs so their bill of over $100 is excessive to say the least. I have added my extreme disappointment about this location to Yelp and Google reviews and I will make sure I let all of my friends and family about these tactics. Not good business Jiffy Lube, not at all. Update to this review 12/8/17, the owner called and apologized and promised to follow up with his employees. ATTENTION ALL YOUNGER FEMALES: I am 21 years old and went to this location for an oil change. I am greatly unsatisfied with the service I had experienced while getting my oil changed because the employee who had helped me tried swindling more money out of my pocket. I usually go to a different location but I had to go to this for convenience. I didn't know I was being charged such a high price to get my oil changed until after the fact; I was charged $80 as opposed to my usual $35 oil change. Scam artists. Buckle up for this review.... So, I pull up into the Jiffy Lube and nobody told me to get out of the car...so I just sat there while they were reviewing some of the data from their assessment. I figured they would tell me to get out of the car when they needed to change my oil, but they didn't, so I just sat there. The obviously forgot I was in the car, because they were very loudly talking about their quotas, and labor goals required for the day. It was clear the needed to reach a certain dollar amount per car, and they were a little below their goal. The guy in charge tells his employee exactly what to do to manipulate me into spending more money on services I don't need by telling me my car wasn't safe to drive. After briefing his employee and giving the employee a pep talk, he told the employee to "go get her". The employee turned around, ready to scam me out of hundreds of dollars and realizes that I'm still in the car. Like a deer in headlights, the employee turned around to tell their boss that I was still in the car, and they awkwardly realized I overheard their conversation. Bless the poor employee's exploited little heart as they tried to convince me my brake fluid needed to be changed, but they could barely string a sentence together bc their conscious took over and we both knew, the jig was up. I told them I only wanted a basic oil change, which the employee accepted without protest, and went back to their manager to report the failed con. The manager doubled down and loudly proclaimed the car wasn't safe to drive and "whatever happens, happens." They finished the job, it was very uncomfortable and still more money that it was worth. Pro-tip...go to Jiffy Lube and stay in the car. Stare at them the entire time with your windows down so you can overhear their conversations about how they are going to con you out of your hard earned money so they don't get written up by corporate. read more

My dad took his car here because the brakes were grinding. The people "looked over" the car and told him that he needed new rear drum brakes. My dad told them that he thought it was the front brakes making the noise and they said they looked at them and they were fine, my dads not an expert so he said okay. He paid $411 for them to fix the rear brakes. He takes his car home and after a few days they were still grinding! He called them back and said hey my brakes are still grinding and they told him to come back in. They "looked over" his car again (my dad said he stuck his fingers in the wheel to check it!) and now they said the front brakes needed to be replaced too! My dad was pissed and drove home to talk to my mom about it before making a decision. My mom called and asked to speak to the manager and he said "we're not experts and we can't tell if they're bad without looking at them and taking the car apart, if you want the front done it's gonna be another $450. If you bring it in again we can look it over for you" so my dad brings it in and by this time he's kinda pissed(understandably) and says "I'm here for you to fix your fuck up" and the guy refused to serve him and told him to leave! What a bunch of crooks and SUPER unprofessional! Don't go here unless you want to be ripped off! My dad took it to Precision Tune Auto Care and they say it is only going to cost $50-60 read more
