First took my car over to Valvoline and even though my car is not lowered they said they would not be able to put it on the lift because it might scrape so I called the boys at jiffy lube they said to bring it on over and they are working on it right now very polite gentleman , the manager very nice Dorian and mike (the manager) are super professional . Both deserve raises in my book ! got a simple synthetic oil change and oil filter change the cast I believe is going to be right around a hundred bucks and that's cause my car takes a lot of oil. $99.85 total out the door which is a great price considering how much oil it takes. NOT EVEN 5 DAY PASSED when the left axles screw popped off and fell apart! WHILE I WAS DEIVING!!! I had too get the car towed and they ended up fix the axle again but now that my car has more damages do too axle popping out; they said they would cover it but when I ask for their store owners number or just a higher ups number. Do NOT go to this location. I had to get my oil changed here out of convenience. I pull in, ask for a conventional oil change, and the guy immediately starts telling me that my car doesn't take conventional oil. I assure him it does and that I get the same oil every time. He rolls his eyes and says "I'll put what you want in it, but don't blame me when things go bad". Next, I have another guy bring my brand new filter in to the lobby to try and upsell me. I tell him it's a brand new filter and he lies and says he was "coming to show me how new it looked". COME ON. It only got worse from there. I had another employee check me out and while he was doing so, was trying to upsell me on a more expensive oil for next time. Telling me that it was stupid of me to have to come in every 3 months when I could be coming in every 5. And that "responsible car owners opt for better oil". Unreal. Avoid at all costs until they at least get a more professional staff! I'm not a single woman that they can just push around and lie to, and they didn't like that. read more

Well, not the update I was hoping to be giving but here we are. I don't know who I need to call but I need to get in contact with someone higher up at this point. Your "store manager" Devlin, was the most unprofessional JERK I have ever seen in my life. 6 months ago (per my last review) I was in this mill plain location and unbeknownst to me, the lower bay tech has no freaking idea what a crush washer is. So, he OVERTORQUED the absolute life out of my drain plug with TWO extra crush washer there. When I was up on my 5k miles after the last time I was at this location(I usually change it myself) I went to do exactly that and I couldn't even move my plug a centimeter even with the air impact. So I just had to add on top of it because I don't have an extractor. Then, I took it to valvoline this time because they are never rude. And the guy underneath was two feet on the fall pushing with all his power and couldn't move my drain plug. They told me to take my car back to who did it. So I did. I went back to this location today. Your "store manager" devlin was who I spoke to and WOW he was rude. After explaining that I just wanted him to get my drain plug untightened SO TIGHT so that I could be able to change it at home next time. He told me that that's not his techs fault and that if I wanted ANYTHING done I would need to pay for an entire new oil change and if I don't want to pay that to basically go f myself. Also decided to throw in there that valvoline shouldn't have touched our car with that kind of issue that he wouldn't have. Valvoline was nothing but accommodating in that regard they didn't want to use the extractor but I needed a change so we had to do what we had to do. I blame THIS location for my cars now oil leak. He basically said they caused this problem but they are not willing to help fix it. Aka we caused your car a pretty massive oil leak but you can go f yourself because we take zero responsibility. Tried calling corporate and it just tells me they have too many callers and hangs up. I then took it to a different location (jiffy lube again) and drew and Trevor down on 165th Ave location were amazing told me that yeah there's a good size oil leak now that this location causes everyone trouble and they were able to get my drain plug off and replace it for me. It wasn't even 165th ave's problem but they were nice enough to solve it. I used to work at a jiffy lube and now even with that kindness I'll never go back. On top of the fact that mill plain location is just plain LAZY. They wanted us to think they were closed with the cones all up bays all closed up and man took forever just to come greet us and then to be THAT rude?? Wow. Devlin is the DEVIL. Don't go to this location they clearly don't want the business anyways. Uneducated rude jerks. Someone higher up get in contact with me before I get in contact with a lawyer. Very Upset going here. I went to go get a break light fix and I told them my brother in law put the light bulb in but it wasn't working . They never checked to see if it was the right light bulb . They just told me it was a electrical problem and I had to go to the dealership. We all know jiffy lube are liars and do anything to get money. They thought that just because I'm a girl that I have no idea what they're talking about. Went in for an oil change and they tried to charge me $150 to replace my transmission fluid, $100 for my brake fluid, and $100 and something for my headlight that was out LOL we had just bought the car recently where we have proof of everything being change and brand new. Took my car to the actual dealership and they said none of that needs to be changed, physically showed me the fluids and how healthy they are. I also know how to change a light bulb in a car myself. Part of the service is a inspection of your vehicle yes the staff brought some items to my attention and offered services that where needed. I wasn't in a position to take care of them today although the antifreeze looks good the ph is high and no longer productive this I did not know. I hesitate to even give them a star but I have to give a rating for my voice to be heard. I brought my car to the Mill Plain location about a month ago and they ripped me off big time! $70 for an oil change and $170 for a flush and fluid replacement in my cooling system plus labor brought the total to $214, and on top of it all they didn't even vacuum my car. Isn't that part of their signature service? Shoot, for that they should have done an entire detail, with a buff and polish to boot. I brought my car to my regular mechanic, Bergman's Automotive, today and come to find out they didn't even change my oil. I showed them my receipt from jiffy and he showed me that they charged me for enough coolant to fill a big rig...I drive a Honda Civic. Big difference. Bad form Jiffy Lube. This was by far the most unorganized and worst experience I have ever had in my life trying to get a oil change. First off I show up and they tell me to wait in the lobby, so I am waiting for 20minutes while half the crew is standing around doing nothing then I have to open the door and ask if someone is going to help me, then finally someone comes in get the transaction done and said it is going to be 30minutes to a hour, so me and my girlfriend leave and walk home since we live up the street so 3 or 4 minute walk and then we get her car and go to a store. So in are way we pass this jiffy lube and my vehicle is done. They didn't even call me.why did it take 8 minutes to get done and they said it would be 30 minutes. So we go shoot at the store then come back to jiffy lube and I get my vehicle. I didn't even get a phone call. This was the absolute worse experience I've ever had!!! The manager, Chris was very unprofessional. Saying very vulgar things about his own boss while he couldn't hear. He then tries to sell me on an oil change, trans flush & fuel filter replacement. They end up taking my car around back to do the fuel filter... then he comes back 20 minutes later & says "we got the top 'banjo nut' loose on the fuel filter, but when we went for the bottom one, it began to strip. So we just tightened it back so it won't leak. But I say take it to our battleground location. They will be able to take care of it there. So we're not going to charge you for it" I didn't even make it a block & my car died. My fuel line is kinked & now they are saying they didn't even touch it! I give them a negative 10!!! read more

Went here to get a oil change on my 1998 ford explorer. The lead guy continued to do different checks around the vehicle then comes to me and tells me. "We can't do a oil change because your exhaust leak is bad". I told him to turn the car off if it was bad he he told me it needed to be on. Oil change service here drives me crazy. I clearly point out every time that I only need to change my engine oil, but it doesn't stop them bringing out their offers that I don't need. Make sure you check the oil level everytime before driving away. I've been coming here in the last 3 years because I'm too lazy to change oil myself or find a decent place (I think they are all trying to shit us at one point). There were 2 occasions that they overfill the engine oil. It always happen when I didn't check the oil level before taking off. I would give them 1 star any day of the week for their service, but I once met a friendly and very helpful guy here who walk me through everything in their tire change/rotation processes which appears to be very useful for me later. In all it probably took less than 35 minutes with my weight to get my oil changed. My dashboard told me to get an oil change, so I did. I thought it was odd, since I have barely driven during this pandemic. But I went. The person who serviced my car told me I actually wasn't due for a change and that my car just hadn't be reset from the last time... or something like that. I don't speak car, so I appreciate honesty from people who I rely on for car matters. They put a sticker on my window, noting the mileage for the next change, and told me to come back. They topped of my oil and and filled my wiper fluid. No charge. They just gained a customer for life. read more

I have used this location for multiple oil changes in the past, however this time I had a chip in my windshield and they said they could fix it for $50 cash. Rather than go to another business I thought, "why not, I'm here anyways". MISTAKE - they "repaired" it on a rainy day of which they said wouldn't matter. Two days later the chip cracked the length of my windshield! I drove back two days later and no manager was in or able to be reached. They said they'd call me back to resolve the issue. Two weeks later, no call, no resolution. In addition, one employee said it shouldn't have been "performed" on such a rainy day. Oddly, they asked me to complete a Yelp review because they were "in need of reviews". Sometimes you get what you ask for! Thanks for the lack of professionalism, follow through and poor service. Avoid this place if you don't know much about cars. I had a good experience for an oil change with JL in one of their stores near Sandy Blvd (one has a narrow driveway to get in), the price was right, it was well expected. But this location is horrible, they tried to up-selling me everything off the coupon; 2.5 times more expensive. I only needed a conventional oil change but instead they quoted me a synthetics. Then, they wanted me to do whole bunch of whatever services they offer and get everything renewed, like air filter, bumper, alternator, coolant, and stop light on top of the trunk, they ended up few hundred dollars. I refused and then they asked me to fix my rocky cracked tiny spot on the windshield saying it's free, but then they had a copy of my insurance card, and lied to me about my insurance will cover that cost, but few days later my insurance called and saying that they did not cover that service and there's a lot of dishonest car shop workers ripping people off that way nowadays. BTW, they so called fixing the cracked spot on the windshield was literally applying tiny bit resin jelly substance on it and it didn't look any different after that. This place is putting a disgusting bad name on Jiffy Lube. I feel bad for those offered great service and honesty in Oregon location. But this place screwed them up. Reason I stopped by was because I live only 2 blocks away, but will never come again. Hope you guys see this as a warning sign or eventually this will turn out very bad. read more

But a high-volume drive-through--aren't these miserable experiences where you're lied to and robbed? Wow, was I wrong. Customer service was excellent. They asked lots of specific questions about my vehicle, did not try to upsell a single thing (even said everything looked great and made some minor recommendations for the future), and were finished in about 10 minutes. The staff could not have been nicer or more informative. Total price was $26. I can't speak to their other services, but I would not hesitate to have your oil changed here.
