We left the car at a proper area, then we were escorted to the waiting area, then the staff came in with his laptop to register and get information from Hubby. Less than half hour it was done. Went for an oil change. Took average amount of time, however the issue I had was cleanliness. My floor mats were filthy, I had oil on my gear shift, door handle, on steering wheel and oily finger prints all over my engine cover. Took me a good 45 mins to clean. Also (not a big deal) but my change oil light was not reset. Didn't bother me, it was a simple task, just don't expect it to be done. read more

Took my car to this jiffy lube this morning . Had my oil change and tires rotated. Drove home 20 minutes. And I noticed a burning smell my car has no oil leaks . I looked under the hood and noticed I could see the ground due to the fact my undercarriage plastic part was missing and oil spilled all over the block . I took my car back another 20 minutes And ask the older gentleman about my part . He asked the guy in the lower bay about the part he said it didn't have one on when it came in . I saw the older gentleman looking in the trash and oil pans in the lower bay for the part. The older gentleman cleaned the spilled oil and replace the part I'm assuming he found it in the trash can he was looking through . I will never take my car here again. How can you remove a part from a car that protects the bottom of the engine from the elements and toss it . To the person in the lower bay have some pride in your job . I worked hard jobs before and still do If you spill oil on a block clean it up it only took your coworker a few minutes to do. If you remove a part from a car place it back on the car It's not your car or property to throw/toss in the trash The manager of this store needs to do some training . Looking at my invoice One dollar for a coupon book never received and wiper fluid never received. My car has a unique set up where the wiper fluid goes in through the trunk . Not once did they pop the trunk . So stop charging for services not provided Pretty sad I was a customer of Jiffy lube since I was 17 Never had a problem . I LOVE this place! I always bring our cars here when they need an oil change. My husband is currently on deployment and he has a Mustang GT. The GT has a large computer system in it and it confuses the hell out of me. The car kept telling me the tires were low. I brought the car in and they checked the tire pressure for me. I would not recommend this Jiffy Lube to anyone! I went in for a oil change and tire rotation.After waiting for over a hour due to them being busy with other cars they finally finished my car.When I got inside the first thing I notice is they didn't vacuum which is one of their bonus add one for their customers.Then as I drove off my oil change indicator came on telling me I was over due for a oil change.When I finally parked I checked my oil and the dipper barely had a drop of oil on it!! Nor did they rotate my tires which was part of my Groupon deal.But they checked off they done all these services and more on the receipt which was a complete lie.I called customer service and spoke with a helpful young lady but unfortunately she informed me that that particular Jiffy Lube is a franchise.So basically after I have lost complete trust of the workers I still have to deal with them or take the lost and go elsewhere.I'll take the lost and never go back! I'll stick with my dealership.Jiffy lube maybe you should let the customer do the check off after the service is complete not the workers so issues like that won't happen again..Oh and I didn't get any rainx. read more

We arrived yesterday at 230pm for a routine oil change. While in the waiting area they called me out to talk with the manager. She said "Before I pull your car in I need to show you something. Look here at your tires the wire is showing. We really should replace the two front they are both bad." Then inside the office I thanked her so much for noticing that. She said she was concerned that we might try to drive back to CT on those. She was right we planned to! She didn't have the tires in stock, but she got them there in 30 minutes . They quoted a great price put both tires on and did the oil change in about 2 hours. They're very polite to their customers which goes a long way! I highly recommend this place they care, and they will take good care of you! It's worth the time and money. We will be back!!! read more

My experience with Jiffy Lube has left me feeling very sadden. I went to Jiffy Lube (1116 Independence Blvd Virginia Beach, VA 23455) for an oil change after a car inspection. Kevin an employee of Jiffy Lube tells me that my brakes were severely dangerous (metal to metal, no padding left, red zone) and he don't know how the state inspector missed telling me that. Now the state inspector told me I needed tires and headlight restoration only brakes had passed no problem. A non-state inspector Kevin at Jiffy Lube tells me a certified state inspector did not do his job correctly and I needed brake immediately. I have been a loyal customer of Jiffy Lube for decades so I trusted their employees to be honest people. So I scheduled an appt. for the brakes to be serviced, I get there and an older employee tells me that my brakes ARE NOT in the red zone but yellow zone and would pass inspection no problem. That's why the certified inspector did not fail me for brakes. I will never again go to Jiffy Lube, it's employees like Kevin who lie to loyal customers and try to steal your money for services that are not needed at the time. I do plan to tell everyone I know not to go to a car service facility (Jiffy Lube) where employees lie in order to make money. Without any regard for their loyal customers and being honest with them, they only care about the money and profit. In this day where competition for your business is high I will pay more for honesty than dealing with a liar when it comes to my car being serviced. read more

NO! This is not where you want to take your car. I brought my car here in October and the technician didn't tighten the oil filter. The oil leaked out and the engine locked up and had to be replaced. I cannot recommend that anyone take their car here or really any Jiffy Lube based on the fact that I still don't have my car because it has taken so long for them to fix their mistake. Dealing with their insurance company has been a nightmare. read more

I went in for an oil change, and the staff informed me that I was leaking gas, and that I needed a spark plug. I don't know much about cars so I drove home, and had AAA tow it to my mechanic. I had to get a rental in the meantime. Once my mechanic got to my car he found that there was nothing wrong at all. By this time I spent $300 on a rental. I learned a lesson, and taught myself how to change my own oil so that I never have to go back. You should too. read more

Warning: I took my vehicle in for routine maintenance and was told I needed a brake fluid flush. The worker failed to bleed the brakes and pulled my vehicle out of the garage with NO brakes. He crashed into another customer's vehicle resulting in $4000.00 worth of damage. The corporate rep has been extremely difficult to deal with and has made me responsible for the entire repair process. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They ruined my studs on my tires! The Manager, said he would right the wrong, so I took it back in on his word that he would fix it, knew something shady was going on when he wouldn't give me any paperwork documenting the replacement of studs, so luckily I video taped and photographed them (manager included) working on my car as documentation of what was happening. When I got it back, he said that my brake pads needed to be replaced and I told him that I would wait on that and when I left the store , my car was squeaking. (Shady move) I took it back ten minutes after leaving the store and told him about the squeak that was there now and he said it was the brakes. My husband and I, both told him that the brakes weren't giving us issues when we brought it in and that he needed to fix whatever he did. He then took the car to the back and fixed the squeak and we left. Fast forward two months, later.... My husband took our Kia in to the Kia dealership for its oil/tire rotation and they told us that the studs on the front tire were damaged and they needed to be replaced (same ones jiffy lube said they fixed) Kia then showed us the studs and explained to us how you could clearly see that the studs were damaged due to someone forcing them in. So, we had to pay Kia to replace the studs and we were obviously upset with this situation. So, after we left Kia, I contacted the manager at the store (same one that worked on car) to voice my frustrations on what had occurred, and instead of him apologizing for everything that has happened the manager sarcastically commented, "How do I know that you didn't damage the studs?". Of course, I was upset, so I then contacted the GM of Jiffy Lube in Virginia Beach, and have left numerous messages and no response. It's been over a month. And all because we trusted a franchise that gave discounted oil changes. This place is a shady business and will ruin your vehicle and if you're looking for someone to fix their wrong... It's not going to happen. Go elsewhere! Don't do what we did! Lesson learned! read more
