Today, I went to Jiffy lube to get my motor oil changed and had an OUTSTANDING experience. First off, I have to say that Sean, one of the servicemen, provided better service than I have received for months; That's including restaurants!!! His attitude, work ethic, and customer service was truly impressive! As I walked to the front desk he made sure my path was more than clear, held the door for me and even offered coffee. The wait was no longer than Sean's estimate and he even reminded me to change my transmission fluid soon, which is a service their shop does not provide (meaning it wasn't an up-sell). Brought my car in June for an oil change. During service, mechanics were having an issue installing oil filter and took an excessive amount of time to complete oil change. In July, I started to observe an oil leak under car. I return my car to jiffy lube twice to complain about oil leak and gave an opportunity to fix the issue. Both times the mechanic advised there was no leak and it was just excessive oil on skid pan. I finally had to take my car to the dealer and inspect the problem. The dealer advised that the engine was so dirty from oil it had to be professionally steam cleaned before they could identify where the leak was coming from. After cleaning, they located the leak from an improperly installed oil filter. Jiffy lube had installed the incorrect oil filter and subsequently it did not seal correctly. I am requesting reimbursement for the cost of fixing their mistake. So far, Nico is dragging his feet addressing the issue. WARNING... do not take your car here. read more

I can't say enough good about the local Jiffy Lube just down the hill from us and wanted to sound off about it. In a world where we have all come to expect average service at best, these good people are just tops. I had to take my Jag in to get air in the tires (tyres). Because it's a Jag, there doesn't seem to be a service station that will accomodate my 43/48lbs or pressure. These guys hustled me in with as much dedication as if I just bought a transmission from them and took care of me for free in a minute - faster than I could have done it. They also hunted down my asymmetrical windshield wipers and threw a set on in about another 2 minutes. I am thrilled to have them as a service provider. Great job! read more

I recommend this location. The location has improved immensely! The manager is doing it right...way to go. I appreciate the fast and efficient service. The team/crew takes time to explain/show you what they will do/did to your vehicle. They even wash your windows and vacuum the interior of your vehicle. Jiffy Lube offers various coupons online and in the newspaper so keep your eyes open for these deals. Here's the deal. If you want the convenience of drive-through, no-wait oil and lube service in SoCal anymore, you have to be prepared to wade through some bullshit. Generally, the bullshit involves a well-meaning "technician" telling you that plain-Jane Pennzoil or Valvoline motor oil is only good for 3,000 miles, and that you need the good stuff to last 5,000 miles between changes. Then the bullshit flows uphill from there, with recommendations that you do all kinds of expensive things to your car you've never heard of. And, of course, you have to decide RIGHT NOW while the "technician" is pressuring you for an answer, and there are other people waiting behind you. And no one wants to look like an indecisive asshole, right? Right?!? Well, according to the car experts at Edmunds on-line -- and more importantly, according to the people who built your late-model car -- oil chemistry and engine technology have evolved tremendously in recent years. But you'd never know it from the way places like Jiffy Lube keep pushing the antiquated 3,000-mile oil change rule. The result is that we Americans waste millions of dollars, and create millions of gallons of partially-used waste oil by getting oil changes more than twice as often as we need to. Bottom line: For oil changes, follow the advice of your car's manufacturer, go by the computerized oil change indicator that came on your car, or if all else fails pick a number somewhere between 5,000 and 7,500 miles that makes you comfortable, and throw away that 3,000 mile sticker they just put on your windshield (and which immediately starts peeling back off). When I had my oil change done here a year or two ago I've been itching to tell how much I hated the service. Since my car is a diesel I provided the specific oil and filter it needed so all I had to do was pay for the labor. I had a coupon that included window wash and vacuum service. They only wiped down the windshield but used a dirty rag which created more streaks and made it more filthy. They also didn't even vacuum at all! I ended up getting upsold on a cabin filter by being told I was given a $15 discount on it. Even with that it still would've been cheaper to buy and replace it myself. I also heard the techs laugh and talk shit when they pulled off the sticker indicating when I had the last oil change done which, granted, was longer than it should've been. But that's still unprofessional. I vowed to never go to this place again and haven't since. read more
