I've been coming here for years and it's generally been a great value for the money, where the cost for them changing my oil (and time it takes) being a great trade-off as opposed to doing it myself. Over the past year and a half or so though, it's gone downhill to the point that I'll be doing it myself going forward again. It was over $100 this last time for them to do a synthetic oil and filter change for my car, when checking Amazon prices I can do myself for just over $40. There used to be about a $20-$30 price difference, which made it worth it for me to get JL to do it, but not anymore with a $60 difference. For starters, the last couple of times I've gone they've shown me to the lobby and there's either been no one at the front desk, or the person at the front desk has completely ignored me (face down on their cell phone). It is rule #1 when dealing with the public that a business should acknowledge their customers, even if they can't get to them right away, to let them know they're aware of their existence. I shouldn't have to stand around for 10 minutes wondering if they're going to check me in, if they're even aware I'm there, before they deal with me. Also, they got the wrong oil change frequency incorrect for my particular make/model/year of car; they put a sticker in the windshield indicating I need to get it done again in 5k miles when the manufacturer specs say 10k. After that, I had to double-check that they even put in the correct oil (which at least according to the receipt, they did, so at least they got that right). Lastly, and this is minor but still annoying, they totally dirtied up my windshield and windows. I had just completely cleaned my glass two weeks prior to going and they were perfectly see-through, but pulling out I immediately noticed a grayish film with smear marks all over my rear window, windshield, and all windows. Apparently as part of their 'benefits' they say they'll clean your glass, but what they mean is that they'll take whatever unchanged nasty bucket of sludge they have laying around and smear it all over your windows whether they actually need cleaning or not, and in this case take something already clean and ruin it. Seriously, if you can't change out your window washing fluid at least once a day, please don't bother. Now I have to clean them all over again to get rid of the filthy this Jiffy Lube smeared all over them. read more

This place is terrible! My wife went in for an oil change change and literally had to wait 1.5 hours! They told her that they were short on staff at the time, and this was the reason. They did not even step up to offer her a discount for her trouble. DO NOT GO THERE!!!! read more

went here with a stem leak on my new tires that i paid 1200.oo dollars for at this location. so i left with a punctre in the tire. also i was told could not find the exact tire to match. that way i would need to buy two tires if i wanted the same two tires on the rear. mind you all coming out of my pocket. now mt truck is setting in front of my house flat waiting for new tires to arrive at mr.tire. be careful crazy shit!!! read more

First time at this location, I just came for an oil change - the service was good, efficient, and the staff was polite. I felt comfortable, and did not feel like they were trying too hard to upcharge me. I had a $12 off coupon, the employee who checked me out accidentally typed in the code for $10 off. I told him it wasn't a big deal, but instead of canceling the transaction and starting all over again he gave me a code valid for a free $11 car wash good for the next 14 days. He was friendly, and apologized for the mistake, but more than made up for it with the free car wash! read more

This was my first visit to any Jiffy Lube. My check engine light had come on, and I was due for an oil change, and I didn't want to wait until I could make an appointment at my regular garage. I was confused at first by the layout, but a gentleman noticed me right away and offered assistance. He walked me through my options, was polite even when I turned down additional services, and walked me inside to a comfortable seat and waiting room. Another employee was super friendly and smiling and making small talk with the people in the waiting room, and still the service was quick and efficient. The bathroom was clean, and in good repair. Overall, everyone was clear, knowledgeable, polite, and the price was fair. Hey happy with my first visit. I would highly recommend stopping here if you are looking for something convenient, friendly, and a breeze of an experience. read more

Poor experience...waited almost an hour just to be told they can't change my oil because they don't have the filter for my car. Employee told me he had good and bad news...good news was that he saved money on his car insurance & the bad news was they can't change the oil in my car. Quick and easy. Two suggestions: relax a little on the up-sell. My car was the only new car (less than 5,000) miles but everyone else was told that their car needed more than just an oil change and the guy was a little pushy. Also, if you're open until 7PM then why have someone stand at the entrance door at 6:30 in order to have him unlock the door to let people out. So, basically, you're not really open until 7...mote like 6:20. read more

I have taken my jeep to Jiffy Lube twice and they have screwed it up both times. The first time was my transmission and I ended up replacing it the second time was an oil change where the tech. over torque the oil filler creating a slow leak damaging the seal but luckily we caught before the damage was done. read more

This review is solely based on my 3 previous visits and each time dealing with the cranky guy who runs the computer and register at the front desk. He scowls and looks down on you if you decline any of his 15 up-sells at checkout. Each time his MO is the same, he shakes his head as he marks off your declines in his computer and mumbles. When he shows me a shiny white air filter and says its time for a change I know better than that, when he told 2 woman after me that it was unsafe to continue driving with said airfilters and they declined he did the same thing and really made them feel uncomfortable. Everyone in the waiting room was rolling their eyes at this guy. He is the cog in the wheel as the staff is great but he is a real bear, I think his name is Sky I heard someone say. I will not be visiting this location again and would not recommend it to anyone until this guy is gone! read more

I have used this facility once and they tried to sell me a ton of add ons which I declined. Here's the catch: The manager who was entering the information in the computer suggested that I rotate my tires. I asked if he looked at the tires before making this suggestion and he said, yes, and that this was highly recommended. I then advised him that the tires were brand new, literally installed 20 minutes earlier, and had about 2000 feet on them. Had he actually looked at the tires, he would have seen that they still had their nubbies and were sparking clean. He did not offer any more add ons and otherwise I was satisfied with their service. read more

For a Jiffy Lube this place has it together. If you have a properly maintained vehicle and need good basic service, this place is for you. Jesse is awesome and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I brought two cars in on a Saturday and they were able to take care of everything I needed. The pricing for fluid changes are also less than a dealership. They didn't damage anything on my cars which has happened to me several times by dealerships in the MD area. For oil changes, fluid top offs and even tire patching to get you by this place was great. The manager even has the staff keep an eye out when people are leaving and they rotate holding the door open for you and escorting you to your car. Best Jiffy Lube I've ever been too. read more

Update: 12/30/15 The franchise owner took the time to personally contact me and was extremely gracious. He said via email that what happened to my car couldn't have been from the oil change. Despite that, he still offered to make amends. My mechanic, Brian DiMaggio at Crossroads Automotive, confirmed that what happened to my car couldn't have been from the oil change. The car is older with a lot of miles on it and that the turbo going bad was just the turbo going bad. So, my apologies to Jiffy Lube for the bad review. And many thanks to the franchise owner for his kindness. Review: 12/28/15 - This used to be my go-to Jiffy Lube for oil changes. I have an older Saab station wagon and it's got some problems, one of which is an oil leak. I checked my oil and it was low so I put in a quart (or so I thought). Then the oil light started coming on. In a Saab, the oil light can come on when you've got too much oil, too. I checked the levels and it was reading too high. The car was due for an oil change soon anyway so I used the $40 coupon the Jiffy-Lube franchise owner in Forest Hill had sent me. I told the folks in Westminster I had overfilled the oil but needed an oil change anyway so please change the oil. After I left Jiffy-Lube, the oil light came on again. I pulled over and checked the oil levels. It was still too high. I called Jiffy-Lube and they said bring it back. I brought it back. They didn't drain any oil out - in fact, the guy told me they added oil. When I left, I was blowing white smoke from the exhaust and the car was sputtering. According to Saab, that means the turbo went up - assisted by the folks at Jiffy Lube. This used to be a great location. I even rated their work highly on an Aug., 2015 survey from Jiffy Lube. Now, I'm renting a car while my mechanic awaits delivery for a new turbo. So, for Christmas, this single mom of a disabled child got stuck with a huge car repair bill and a huge car rental bill which I can ill afford. Merry Christmas, Jiffy Lube! I knew when I went there what exactly my vehicle needed. They verified what the car maker's recommendations were. I added filters because I knew the ones he showed me were my cars filters.i declined a few items but hope in the future to be able to afford them. It is convenient to go there and fairly affordable compared to some places. The waiting room was packed and I felt bad about the crowded conditions. There was a few of the employees who were quite polite. Some not as much but given the crowd I can see that it was stressful. May try again. read more

Hands down amazing service! I rolled up today with a battery issue. Eighteen months ago I was living in HI and bought a new Interstate battery after the one I had died after a number of years. Today, the battery died and getting into a mechanic was impossible on short notice. But, I needed to check the battery and ensure there was no issue with it. The guys at Jiffy Lube were so kind, took me right away, tested my battery (it was fine, but the car would not start without a jump), then discussed there was potentially an issue elsewhere draining the battery like a parasitic draw or other issue they were unable to diagnose in their shop. Ultimately, it was decided I should get a new battery then take my car to a mechanic to diagnose why the car was draining my vehicle battery. The Interstate battery I bought eighteen months ago was under warranty so I didn't pay a thing. I was in and out within 20-25 minutes. I was highly impressed and thankful for their helpful and professional service when I was in a pinch! read more

It's sad to say that after many generations in my family have gone here due to great service, will unfortunately no longer be going. My car was due for an oil change so I went in like normal, we went over what else was needed about about how much it would cost. In the waiting room I had checked my purse to count out my money ahead of time but realized I didn't have my wallet that contained my cards and alittle over fifty bucks. I figured I left it at home so I ended up having to pay with 47 ones from working the previous day. I was in a hurry as I had class that day so I just threw my purse back in my car and continued going home to get my wallet. However I lifted my purse to see my wallet was in the passenger seat, and had been through the whole oil change! I immediately checked it to find that all of my money accept a few ones was gone! I called not even ten minutes after my oil change was finished to have the manger look at the tapes just to find nothing. But I'm confident my money was in there as I had counted everything the night before. He offered a free oil change the next time but I declined since I will no longer be giving them business. It seemed like the easiest thing for him to do as it wasn't gonna be taken seriously at all. I can't believe thieves would be tolerated there and there was nothing I could do. Enjoy the fifty bucks! I recently moved a few towns over and after a bad experience elsewhere, now make the drive to Westminster to have my car serviced there again. BUYER BEWARE!! Make sure you do your homework before you take your vehicle into ANY "Quick Oil-Change" place!! Also, please make sure you WATCH your vehicle being worked on through the window. The technician brings in two dirty air filters, slams them down on the counter and tries to up sell you on all kinds of sh1t that you dont need. I brought a $225 bill down to $100 after declining all the unnecessary "flushes" and "system services" that they wanted to sell me. After the first technician claimed that "the only way I can give you a 10% discount is with this $75 fuel system service" the nice young man named Caleb who wrote up my final bill, asked if I had any discounts or coupons and when I said no, he gave me the 10% discount anyway!! Bottom line: I do recommend this place to go to get your oil changed... but only that!! Just make sure you dont pay for what you dont want and dont let them pressure you into anything youre not comfortable with!! read more
