For some reason, my dad always insisted we take our cars here. I guess it was probably for convenience's sake because it was down the street from our house. However, I think this place is a total rip off. Compared with other experiences I've had, this place is pretty bad. The staff are almost always indifferent and impolite whenever I've been in to have my oil changed. There's almost all under 25 so I'm not sure if it has to do with their age or what, but it's really annoying. I'm under 25, but I don't think I'm a huge bitch whenever I help customers with something (oh wait, I'm not). My least favorite part about this Jiffy Lube is the fact that they try to rip you off, especially if you are a woman. Car repair/service places and employees are stereotypically always trying to rip women (and even men) off and this place really fits that mold. The oil change itself is always $32 and then they try to convince you that you need a million add-ons that can literally add up to $80 or $90! You never need your filters changed by them - you can buy them at Autozone or Wal Mart for like $3 and put them in yourself. You never need your wipers changed because you can get them yourself for $20 at Autozone (or $55 at Jiffy Lube). Rip off!! They like to prey on the person who knows nothing about cars and try to get them to buy anything and everything that they don't need. Once I had to call my dad to come to the place because they would not let me check out because they were convinced that I needed to pay $50 to top off my fluids. They didn't argue with him and I kept trying to tell them that they should top off the fluids for free! Ugh. This location (and most Jiffy Lubes) also do not include a lot of things that places like Car-X do. At Car-X I can always download a coupon from their website for a $19 oil change that includes free, NEW wiper blades, free car inspection, fluid top off and free tire rotation. Awesome. I honestly don't know why anyone comes to this Jiffy Lube. There's a Midas two doors down that will do the same thing for the same price and the service is honest. Go there instead. read more

I've been to this Jiffy Lube location a few times (and historically always just gone to Jiffy Lube for oil changes) but I won't be back again after my recent visit. I got an oil change a couple of weeks back and it was taking quite a while with no other customers in the office. Apparently, my oil drain plug needed replacing and they were struggling with putting in the new one. I didn't get any heads up about there being an issue. The oil drain plug was replaced and I went home. I woke up to a slight oil leak, which I never had before. I went back to Jiffy Lube and the oil drain plug was replaced with the correct size plug and I was told this should resolve the issue. The newly replaced oil plug wasn't tightened when installed so it loosened up and I woke up to a pool of oil in my driveway. I got the oil drain plug tightened by a mechanic and haven't had any further issues. I'll be going somewhere else for my oil changes going forward. Luckily, I'll always have the memories of my last Jiffy Lube experience as I see the oil stains in my driveway. read more

I absolutely dread getting my oil changed because these places always try to sell me things I don't need. However, out of all the Jiffy Lube's I've been to in the area, this one is the best. The guys here are really nice and I don't feel like I'm being scammed. I even stopped by to get the air pressure in my tires checked without getting my oil changed and they were very accomodating. read more

Don't go here. They did an oil change back in May and said they needed to order a filter for my car and it would take one week. I checked back every week for a month and was told it was still on order. Then spoke with the manager and he said he did not show one on order but would order it. Checked back 2 weeks later and was told they still don't have it. Asked for refund and they refused. These guys are not honest. read more

This location will rip you off! I got an oil change and they didn't ask me what level of service I wanted. The sold me the most expensive option without my authorization. $66 for an oil change! I argued with the guy at the counter that they did this without asking, but they refused to refund any of my money. I would avoid this Jiffy Lube. read more

This location is amazing! I refuse to take my car to any other Jiffy Lube. Steve & El, the two managers are great at the keeping the place how it should be. All the guys here are super up front and honest with everything. The techs I have met here are all also really kind & helpful. Eddie, Frank, Darius, Dan are all great at what they do & I notice they always put their 110% effort into my car. I am an Uber driver & I trust these guys with my car everytime & it always runs beautifully after getting serviced here. Never once have I had a problem here. I'd also like to add that this location is VERY clean. I have been to Berwyn, Countryside & La Grange Park jiffy's & none of them put in the effort and care that these guys do. Service is never slow & I'm never hit with unexpected costs! Don't waste your time with overpriced dealerships, the guys at Jiffy Lube Westmont will take great care of you! I went to high school witht he manager of this location. they have good deals on oil changes and the service is fast. they will op off your oil for free if its before the 3 month mark too. there are stores within walking distance if you get bored or hungry,too. Ask for lester. hes a great guy hwo will help you out! read more

I recently went here for an oil change and had a wonderful experience. Jason and Tyler were able to effectively communicate the concerns about my car without pressuring me to "buy" anything. They helped explain to me what is recommended verses what is urgent to get repaired. Every other time I have gotten an oil change, I have been pressured into getting all the car manufacture "recommendations". This was the first time the staff at Jiffy Lube told them to me, but also explained when it was truly needed. Also, they were extremely friendly and professional. They helped get me in and out of their with my car without any issues arising. I was very impressed with their service and would recommend going there again! read more

This was fantastic. My brother is a mechanic, so I never pay for any sort of car maintenence. However, he was out of town and I was desperately overdue for an oil change. I was hesitant to spend the money but had no choice! This place was wonderful. So polite, opening doors for me and generally just making me feel good! Vince and Jeffrey were wonderful to work with. I enjoyed watching them work on my car from inside the nice, clean lounge. They did my oil, filled the windshield wiper fluid, filled my tires, topped off some other liquids that I can't remember, vacuumed my car, washed all the windows inside and out, and did a full inspection of systems! They offered other additional work and provided the costs for them but were not pushy when I declined. I will definitely return next time I need to pay for an oil change! read more

I could use a clarification on the Signature Service which was $34.99 and the PZL HM Oil Upgrade, for $24.99. The marquis sign quotes an oil change as $24.99. At what point does this cost and the one for the Signature Service overlap? Is the Signature Service the vacuum and tire pressures? I asked if our rear, passenger side break light could be replaced. My wife confirmed for me as I stood behind the car, that by pressing on the brake, that was the bulb that needed replaced. A gentleman came in to say that our middle brake light needed to be replaced. It was working fine 10 minutes before. I think the young man we spoke to upon arrival told this gentleman the wrong brake light? We ended up paying for both even when the young man at check out offered to take the charge off. My thought was, ok, as a courtesy for the error. I jokingly asked if that would require taking out the new, center back bulb and putting our old one back in? ( the one that did not need to be replaced) He actually said yes!!! So, now we would drive around, rejoin the line and have the new bulb taken out and our old working one put back in?? Not the customer service I have been accustomed to going to this Jiffy Lube, across many years and cars. I have had great service across the years. Not sure why/how this happened? read more

I went here as a last resort, and regretted it almost instantly. I got my oil changed here a few years ago, and the teenaged "technician" managed to break the engine-mounted plastic fitting for my PCV valve, which meant a trip to the dealership. This time around, there was only one other vehicle in the three-bay store, but the guy who greeted me said there would be a short wait while the vehicle ahead of me was serviced. Guess they are unable to work on more than one vehicle at a time. OK. Once they got to me, it was upsell time, of course. They extracted my cabin air filter, which was filled with loose debris and needed replacement. They wanted 40 bucks, or nearly three times the cost the cost of the Fram replacement filter I later bought just down the street. When I declined, I was invited to knock the leaves and dirt out the filter myself, as they were fully prepared to replace it without even shaking it off, let alone using an air hose. "Sure, it's your air filter, you can do whatever you want to it," I was told. I also declined their recommendation for transmission fluid change and fuel injection cleaning service. At this point, the SUV in the middle bay was finished and pulled out into the driveway in front of the place. However, when that customer ahead of me went to pay, the manager told him that the "technician" had placed the wrong oil filter on his vehicle, and it would have to be pulled around again and changed out. "We don't want that wrong part vibrating loose on you and falling off," the manager said. That didn't exactly inspire a lot of confidence in me over their ability to perform a simple oil change, which after all is the whole reason they are there. Nothing like the fear of catastrophic engine damage from a no-oil condition to make driving a pleasure, right? I also declined their recommendation to use high-mileage oil, which would have boosted the cost to more than $60, and instead went with the 5W30 OEM recommendation. The oil was added in bulk from a large plastic container that looked like a watering can, so I can only hope it was decent-quality oil. Who knows what brand it was. When it was time to settle up, the bill came to $36-plus, which surprised me since a moment earlier I was standing under one of three 20-foot-long banners hung overhead advertising an oil change for $24.99. Hmm. Must be a deal for someone other than me. I decided to just cut my losses and get out of there, but I spent the next few days checking my driveway for pooled oil, and hoping the oil light didn't illuminate while I was driving. Those wrong-sized oil filters have a way of falling off, you know. read more

I stopped on 7/30/15 for an oil change. The man outside that greeted me said their prices had gone up to $39.95 for an oil change. I thought it was steep for an oil change, although was in a pinch, because my oil light had gone on a couple of times. I had a coupon, which should bring it down to $32.00. They went over everything, said I had synthetic oil blend, and suggested keeping the same. Great, sounds good, whatever was in there. I went back to the waiting area, and they called me up to pay when the oil change was complete. The bill came to $62 and change. What? Wait a minute you guys quoted me $39.95 for an oil change. He goes onto explain that the synthetic oil is an upcharge. I point out he never said it would be an upcharge. Oh, they forgot, they thought I knew. No, I'm not paying that, you quoted $39.95. He lowered the price since they forgot to mention it. I gave him the coupon, which lowered it to what I expected it to be. Total scam. It makes me wonder how many people they pull the synthetic oil upcharge on, and people say okay, and simply pay it? So, I checked what the dealership charges me for the exact same oil change, same synthetic oil, and they charge $39.64. Then I noticed my husband paid the oil upgrade charge years ago, without questioning it. read more

Don't go here! I have been going to this location for at least 10 years. After my last oil change, I drove the car less than 40 miles when the engine light came on and car started smoking. I immediately pulled over and discovered that I was missing my oil cap. My wife called Jiffy Lube (JL) and spoke with the manager who gave her the run around. So, I went directly to JL to speak with the manager who tried to direct me away from the customers during the discussion. He was calm but initially denied JL responsibility. He finally admitted that they could not have properly tightened the cap and driving loosened it and fell off. He refused to give me owners' or District managers' name and promised to handle the problem to my satisfaction. We left it with going and purchasing a oil cap and return the next day (4th of July). He said to bring in the receipt for reimbursement and that he would also refund the cost of the oil change. Long story short, I returned the next day, they topped off the oil but all other promises were not honored and he gave me no assurances that there was any damage to the car nor would reimburse to have it inspected by a mechanic. read more

I went to this location because I had a splash pan that was hanging from the bottom of my car, at times dragging the pavement as I drove. I called ahead, asked if they would be able to take a look, and they said not a problem. When I arrived, I asked for Vince, the helpful person I spoke to earlier, and he took my car right in. On a busy Saturday, when I wasn't even there for an oil change, they re-attached my splash pan and didn't charge me a dime. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I will be returning for my car's oil change soon, because of the good service I received today. read more

I've gone to this location a handful of times for an oil change and always feel the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. I just wanted to leave this review because two days ago when I got my oil changed at this location, I was told by one of the mechanics that I had an "extreme transmission fluid leak" and that they could not check the fluid level (not their fault, mopars are weird) so I would have to go to the dealership. They reiterated the fact that it was "severe." My boyfriend is a mechanic and was thankfully able to take a look for me and as it turns out I had no transmission fluid leak at all. If I didn't have my boyfriend to check it out, I would have wasted time (and potentially money) with a misdiagnosis. The fluid they were seeing was oil and was nowhere near my trans pan like they said. However like I said, I have always had a positive experience with the staff and usually the service here. read more

This location was packed this weekend with other lucky recipients of the $9.25 coupon. I was upsold synthetic oil and accepted without asking for the price. What a total rookie move thinking my standard transmission, non-performance vehicle would use the regular grade synthetic ($50)! Instead, that sweet Mitsubishi Outlander is going to be well lubricated with Platinum Penzoil for the next 10,000 miles ($79). At least I wasn't the guy in front of me who got sold $100 windshield wipers. read more

I went in with a Groupon or coupon, really inexpensive. They were so pleasant, efficient and even cleaned and vacuumed the front seat area. They didn't try to sell me one extra thing. They did make a couple recommendations, but did not push it at all. Truth be told, I bought some filter b/c I felt so guilty for the 4 star treatment for the $24 oil change. I went to the Westmont location last week to have a oil change only on my 2012 SRX Caddy, the guy told me it would $102. I said I never paid anywhere near that much money to have the oil and filter changed on this vehicle. He said because it was Detos it synthetic it cost that much more. I said I remember paying $60 but never $102. It was 6 below that day and I was headed to Florida and wanted a oil change, and thought just maybe I was wrong so I went ahead and let them change the oil and paid the $102. When I returned home checked my last two receipts from the oil changes for that vehicle, one was $48 AAA, and the other $66 from our mechanic both included a tire rotation, and both were synthetic oil GTX and Havoline. I'm not sure why JIffy Lube charges almost double for the same service but I'll never take any of our vehicles there again. I'm going to post this on the neighborhood sites there is no reason to pay almost double for the same service. read more

Was very disappointed in the service at this particular location. Jason was clearly distracted this morning while trying to work on my car. I was the first one there this morning at 7:30am and both Jason and the technician were standing outside when I arrived. As he ushered me to the waiting area he grabbed the coffee pot and stated that it was from the night before. So no coffee. While inspecting the air filter the technician popped off the clip on the filter container and it went bouncing off the glass door. I decided to keep a closer watch on them. They seemed to manage the actual oil change OK but my tires were not checked, my windows weren't cleaned and my car wasn't vacuumed. I know they do this regularly at the other Jiffy Lube in Naperville. After declining any additional work they continued to get sidetracked while talking to either a friend or another customer and answering what appeared to be his personal phone. I noticed that he had not completely closed all the lids that they opened before closing the hood and I had to bring it to his attention. I will not be coming back to this location. read more

I went in for an oil change on July 27 at the jiffy lube at 411 W Ogden avenue in westmont, Illinois. I was talked into getting my radiator serviced. As soon as I left my cars air conditioning didn't work. I went back less than 15 min later. They convinced me to get my air condition serviced. I reluctantly did. After I got the service done, I went to work and on the way my engine light went on and my temperature light went on. This has never ever happened before. I was very very angry. I called the jiffy lube and they were closed. As I was driving, my car began to smoke under the hood. I barely made it to work. I had my car towed to a mechanic. They looked at my car and said that I had no radiator fluid, my oil gasket blew from the heat, and I need a new engine. I called the corporate office and the jiffy lube shop many times and haven't gotten an answer back. Not even an apology. I have my jiffy lube invoices and the invoice and estimate from my mechanic and I have attached them to my email. I want my car fixed and I want to be compensated for the terrible service I received dealing with your company. My mechanic gave me an estimated repair bill at $2,932.24. The was a discounted estimate cause of the situation your company put me in. read more
