Had horrible service at this location. No one vacuumed the interior, no one put air in my tires. I'm hoping they really changed my oil and filter. They did inform me that my wipers were needed to be replaced. Overall it was a horrible experience and I won't be going back. Guys did a great job on not only the auto service but were tops on customer service as well. They brought in the air filter to show me how bad it was and patiently waited while I thought about it. Amazing service and expedient oil change. Once you walk in everyone who works here will great you with a smile and positive demeanor. The waiting area is clean and organized as is the rest of the facility. They offer coffee while you wait and various car magazines to drool over while your clunker receives an accurate and thorough inspection. There is also a small TV to view if you so choose to distract your self from the Car and Driver that shames your current heap. The staff is knowledgeable and competent in all aspects of vehicle maintenance that leads to long life of your jalopy. The one gentleman, yes gentleman, explained to me the various oils offered and the purpose of each type. I choose the High Mileage that will improve my decrepit old buggy. He also recommended that we fill the radiator fluid for winter ,only 4 dollars a quart. He also showed me my dirty air filter and recommended he replace it for about 20 bucks. In and out in about 25 minutes and you also receive a free car wash. They will also top you off before your next scheduled oil change. He also went the extra mile and so kindly searched for a military discount and took off a good amount off the final price. Round two tomorrow, hope it keeps up to my 5 stars. Once you walk in you are greeted by a one of the crew members. They are all very courteous, walk you in and out and they can't thank you enough the business. They do a very thourough inspection of your vehicle and make recommendations but never with any pressure. They pride themselves in service. After being a loyal customer for a year- I feel it's necessary to update my review, for the better! Recently Braulio has taken over as the manager for my past 2 visits. I am very impressed with his helpfulness and attitude. In my 2 visits, he truly has gone above and beyond in terms of delivering information- showing the filters to me (versus just saying they're dirty), ordering parts, and just delivering information clearly and friendly. While I don't have much car knowledge, I fully trust bringing my car here. Also, even though I had to wait (and coming right after work hours I expect this) everyone was courteous and thanked me for waiting. I asked for my keys back, walked right back to my car and left. 90 bucks for an oil change, not even the dealer charges that outrageous price for an oil change. I took my car in, thought they were great guys, thought they did a good job, BUT THEY DIDN'T PUT MY ENGINE SKID PLATE BACK ON THE CAR (that's the bottom cover that protects it from rocks, etc.). I didn't notice for a few months, but once I did, I called them. No record of this happening, no recollection, no idea what happened...AND THE PART COSTS OVER $400! So, in summary, a $105.98 oil change ended up costing me $528.51. I called the manager today, asked him to find it, to call the three guys who worked on my car, and hours later, I still have not heard from him. He promised he would "find the part"--I already know there is only ONE in the country at this point in time; no, I don't think he can handle something that tricky if they already lost it. Whereas, I then called my mechanic, who said, "I'll order and have the part installed on your car in less than 24 hours." In summary, this Jiffy Lube location will rip you off, will not care, has no accountability, and you may be stuck for HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS IN EXCESS of the price of your oil change for some weird, stupid thing they did. The thing is, if they hadn't made this mistake, I would have taken my car to them for oil changes twice a year. That would have been $2307.80 over a ten-year period. Oops--they just lost over $2000 worth of business from me. With THREE guys working on the vehicle, how could they miss something like that? The bottom cover of the engine. My husband and I went to this Jiffy Lube to get an oil change for our car today. It was very expensive - they charged us $67.99 before tax for a standard oil change (see photo). We have a Honda Accord - a very average car - so it is unclear why a simple oil change would cost so much. But the real problem started when we got our car back. We turned on the car, ready to drive away and enjoy our Saturday night... but there was a humming noise coming from the car. This noise was not there before we dropped off our car at Jiffy Lube. We went to speak to the guy who had given us our car keys and described the issue. He came over to sit in our car, listened to the noise, then said he would go talk to one of the other guys. (He was actually pleasant because at least he tried to help us.) We overheard him talking to the other guy dressed in a maroon colored shirt, and that guy's response was something along the lines of, "What's the problem?! It's almost 7pm!" This guy, who turned out to be the manager of the store, Cliff, came over to our car, stood outside of it, and told us that all he did was change the oil so whatever problem there is with our car is not his problem. We tried to describe the noise and where it was coming from, but Cliff just repeated himself in a more hostile tone, saying that our car was already making that noise before, that we had to take our car to a mechanic to figure out what the problem is, that he didn't cause the problem, etc. Then he started walking away. My husband had been standing outside of the car and I had been sitting in the passenger seat this whole time, and at this point I got out of the car and tried to have a conversation with Cliff. I tried to explain to him that our car did not have this strange noise before we brought it to Jiffy Lube, but Cliffs proceeded to raise his voice at me and verbally attack me. This incident was extremely frustrating on so many levels. 1) We could not even have a civil conversation with the manager of the store - we were trying to understand why our car was making a strange, humming noise all of a sudden and Cliff's immediate response was defensive which then quickly became hostile. 2) Instead of treating customers with respect, Cliff raised his voice at me and accused me of lying by insisting that our car already came with the noise. Our car was not making any obscure sounds before - why would we come to get an oil change and decide that we're going to say that the people at Jiffy Lube damaged our car? 3) Now, there is clearly something wrong with our car, and we're going to have to fix it, on our own time and on our own dime. Cliff is completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and just plain rude. As we were driving home, we learned that the noise seems to be coming from the fan. Interestingly, one of the items under the "Service Checklist" was "Check air filter" (see photo). Maybe while they were checking the air filter, something went wrong with the fan. I am not saying that Cliff for sure caused our fan to be making this constant, annoying humming noise now, but his behavior of "I don't want to deal with this. It's time for me to go home" to "I didn't do it" to "Your car was already like that" to straight out yelling at the customer because he already got his money for the oil change is seriously unbelievable. Be warned of this place if you're thinking of coming here for any kind of service. If I could give this place no stars I would. read more

You are ALL being warned NOT to go there!!! They are complete scammers! They do not do any of the services they claim to do. They do not check fluids nor do they vacuum the car. I stood by the service bay window overlooking the area where they were working, ONLY 5 FEET AWAY FROM THE WINDOW WHERE I WAS WATCHING FROM THE ENTIRE TIME I MIGHT ADD! All they did was change the oil, put in windshield washer fluid and try to upsell me on a new air filter WHICH I CHANGED 2 WEEKS AGO! THAT WAS IT! I asked to see my old oil filter to make sure they changed it, I would advise anyone reading this to do the same and make sure you know what brand of oil filter you had in it before you ask to see it. The service adviser tells me in this prepared speech on everything they did in checking oils, topping off fluids, vacuuming the car and checking the battery. He goes on and tells me my battery is bad and shows me a receipt from the battery tester. Funny thing, my battery is a ACDELCO which is 3 months old! When I told the service advisor the guys never checked any fluids other then the washer fluid, never vacuumed the car and never checked tire pressure or anything. He looks at me with a blank stare and just says "they vacuum the car at the end" Then I watch another guy put the vacuum hose through my half open passanger window and just leave it there for 3 minutes WITH NO TECH IN THE CAR and then just pull it back out and tells the black service adviser with glasses that I am dealing with "OK, DONE". And to add insult to injury he charges me $3.99 for a RAIN X window treatment I never asked for! I could go on with how the workers ALL have blank looks in their faces and walk around with NO interest in doing a days work. STAY AWAY FROM ALL JIFFY LUBES! ALL THE WANT TO DO IS ROB YOU! I went to this place twice. First time to check all the fluids as I had just bought my car. The employee, an African American, checked everything, completed everything and told me no oil changed was necessary and didn't charged me for anything. Of course I gave him a good tip. Second time I went there to change the engine oil. I waited about 30/40 minutes and all employees were nice and professionals. I definitely will go back there. Why not five stars? I came in to get an oil change this past weekend, Saturday 5/30/14. I have used jiffy lube for close to 10 years, since I've been driving. Never has a mechanic went into my glove box on there own without my knowledge. This time, they mechanic not only went into my glove box without my knowledge they BROKE my glove box. When I entered my vehicle I noticed my insurance papers were on the passenger seat along with my sunglasses. (Both were in the glove box) I was like ok that's odd but whatever, I go to openmy glove box and the handle is broke. I go back inside and tell the mechanic that they broke my glovebox. He walks over to my car,attempts to open it,and walks away saying I didn't do that, let me get the other mechanic. The other mechanic comes along with his hands greasy and oily and pulls snags and bangs my glove box attempting to open it. At this time total eclipsed time is around 45 minutes. I am now officially running late. Mechanic gets a flat head screwdriver and pulls some more, pops the glove box open. Now the glove box can't close. Mechanic again goes back to get another tool, I stop him saying thanks for trying but Im running late, I have to go. So I leave with a greasy oily interior with my glove box broken. I do not want to return to that jiffy lube to have them fix it because frankly I do not trust them to do it correctly. I'd rather do it myself or go to a mechanic that I trust. I am sorry for writing this review because I again I hve used jiffy lube for close to 10 years in new jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida and now New York andby far this is the worse transaction I have had. read more

Went to the Saratoga Springs NY location for an oil change as well as having my air filters changed. First, I had an older gentleman as my mechanic (wish I remembered his name) he has a very nice smile and was very helpful. Karen at the front desk was very helpful and truly takes the quote "service with a smile" to heart. She was very sweet and also got me the manager (Kevin) who helped describe to me a few things I didn't know about my car, that way I can move forward with more knowledge on my vehicle. If I could give negative stars I would. Not only did they not check my fluids, lights or wipers, they did not even vacuum the floors in my car. When I brought this to the cashier's attention - her reply, "I'm sure they didn't vacuum. I'll do it myself." Service has declined since my first visit. Last time I checked in, I had to return because the reverse light that was supposedly replaced, wasn't. I had to drive back the next day and explain to them that it wasn't replaced. One mechanic there said that this is not their brand of light they used and I had to repeat that it wasn't changed in the first place. When the manager from the day before showed up, he apologized and went into his sales speech of a possible short in my reverse light that may have caused it to blow again. I had to explain to him that his mechanic already confirmed to me earlier, the bulb is not the same brand they use so it was never replaced in the first place. He was embarrassed and went to the back to do some yelling at the mechanics. My recent visit, seemed like I got stuck with a Newbie in training. Stuttered around, didn't know how to ring up my vehicle. I was already in the system but wanted to take my information down again. IF he compared my previous services, he would have known all the things done and not had to go down the list asking if I want this done or not because it was already done in my last visit. Overall, service was fast, which is why I keep coming here, I didn't get my free car wash ticket as part of my super service option that I normally get.
