I just wanted a nice burger the NEW YORK WAY and local for me So I came here, walked in ordered 2 Smokey burgers with French fries a passion fruit juice and a half a half ice tea for my partner ; The Smokey burger comes with mushrooms, mini mozzarella sticks and bacon , you could hold the bacon if you don't eat (meat or pork) After ordering we took a seat wherever we wanted ; we had a lot of options in the restaurant it wasn't full. just waited for them to bring us our food to us while enjoying the ambiance might call it my next go to spot! The service was nice , friendly and fast the only thing that surprised me was the price for all that was $52 was a bit surprising but worth it because overall the burgers were great and juicy While they had a soccer game on the tv it was a nice experience if you are in a rush and need a quick bite I would definitely come here to enjoy a nice tasty burger and fries. read more

Excellent neighborhood diner. They make the best pork sausage egg and cheese breakfast wrap, which is my go-to. I think the cheese is like $1.50 extra though for just American, so next time I might order without it. My partner always gets the pancakes and loves it. It just all hits the spot. We've only been here for breakfast options, but whenever I see someone get a burger, it looks so good. I just wish they moved beyond styrofoam plates to serve your meal, but I guess if that keeps the costs low in 2025, I won't complain. read more

Our party of 3 arrived around 10a and found a table immediately. The ambiance was that of a small lil diner...nothing to brag about. The service was just ok. Our server appeared to be a woman team so I'm not too pressed with her lackluster attentiveness. The food was very good for the price point. I took off a star because they actually served frozen heavily breaded processed chicken tenders with my pancakes was! Not cool at all!!! So all in all not a bad experience. I pass by here allllll the time but NEVER thought to go in. I'm so glad my friend told me I had to try, also the outside doesn't match the inside. From the outside it looks like a Chinese carry out but inside it's a cute diner. I need to actually sit down one day but I did a pick up order. Whenever I'm in Harlem it is a tradition to have lunch here. Gentrification has bulldozed much of what is left of the true essence of New York City, but I thank God we can still hold onto some of our cuisine if not culture in Harlem. Jimbo's is a part of the true essence of Harlem. I love that it has not changed one bit every time I return. You can rely on Jimbo's for your brunch, lunch and hangover grub. This place is dishing out classic quality burgers and diner style platters. I love the old fashioned, classic vibes here. Many locals find their way here during the week to fulfill whatever their craving is. The burgers here are absolutely worth the trip. Worth every penny. I've had their Jimbo size bacon cheeseburgers with fries and the breakfast here and you get a lot of bang for your buck here! Much better and larger portion sizes than IHOP. I like the diner style since you don't see it as much in other places anymore. The staff is always quick and helpful. I had heard so many good things about this place, so we decided to go for breakfast. I ordered two eggs with cheese and bacon on a roll with butter and a large coffee. Light & sweet with half & half. Wait for my order. When ready, I heard the guys say "$7.45" I handed him a $10 bill and awaited my change. He stood there looking at me. He said "10.45". I said I only got a bacon egg and cheese and a coffee. Yes. $10.45. This better be the best sandwich I ever ate. Bread was stale and dry. Definitely from a day or two before. Bacon was over cooked and a bit fatty. I like crispy bacon, but there's a difference between crispy and overcooked. Toasting is done on the grill but barely any butter on the roll, which if they charged me more for that, they stiffed me on it. The coffee was barely ok. Not as flavorful, or as bold as I hoped, but a little watered down. I hope the food truck near my job returns because their food was better and less expensive. I'm not sure why Jimbo's only has one $ sign next to the name, but this place is expensive. Probably the most I've ever spent in a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and for such low quality, it's definite that I will not return. read more

The place was clean and pretty spacious for the space they have. The employees were nice. When we came in, they asked right away if we were sitting at the table or their "bar" area. My boyfriend and his family took me to Jimbo's for brunch. It's a cute likkle diner with quick service. I ordered one of Jimbo's bacon and cheese burgers with fries (with fries is ordering the "deluxe" and I believe it was $9 plus tax). The portions are v good for the price. I swear this trip was so fries based & I can say that these fries were definitely up there. They were crispy, however, I needed to add a lotta salt on mine because they didn't seem to be served with salt. The burger itself was soo filling. The bun was nice and soft. Fan. The toppings were fresh and the cheese was melted reeeal nice. They even have milkshakes and breakfast items here.
