This all started because i wanted to spruce up the flower bed. Found some roots growing right through it. I needed HELP!!! This would be my first experience with any landscaping/tree trimming service. So needless to say I was very skeptical about hiring a company. We were able to schedule the same day. The guys came out and made quick work of the trees and they cleaned up everything...even the leaves from the Ash tree that had piled up. Doing work with Jimmie was a very good experience: he was on time for the first appointment, made recommendations and quoted a reasonable price. He scheduled the work for the next day and his crew arrived again on time. They were very efficient and a nice crew. They had good equipment (trucks, shredders, chaninsaws, etc.. ), worked fast but didn't rush through, and they cleaned very thoroughly after themselves. I've used Jimmie's for five years and have had nothing but positive experiences. Tree removal, stump removal, tree trimming, shrub trimming, you name it, they do it. Jimmie Sr. has retired, and the younger Jimmie has taken over the business with the pledge to continue with the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. They're branching out (see what I did there?) to include landscape services; I'm interested to see their work and possibly use them when I get around to updating my landscape. Finally, I have to say they're pretty darn punctual. in fact, they were scheduled to be at my house on Thursday this week, but they called on Monday to ask if they could come that day instead. How could I say no? I processed an online quote request and Eric called me very shortly thereafter to come and do an in person assessment. He provided me with a reasonable price for a tree removal in our backyard and because of the positive Yelp reviews, we hired him without searching for further bids. His crew came 2 days later (and earlier in the day than was expected). When does that ever happen? There were 6 guys on the crew and each and every one of them greeted me with "Good morning" along with a smile. These guys worked like a flock of birds. Their precision was a work of art and I watched every moment of it. They had the tree completely down to the stump along with a complete cleanup of the surrounding area and was out of here in an hour. Shortly thereafter, the "Stump Crew" came in with the grinder to remove the remaining stump. They too were incredibly kind and gracious. I called Jimmie's and he was out later the same day to quote me on the complete removal of one old tree and a major trimming of another in my front yard. I had also called a few other companies, but after Jimmie's quote I cancelled all of the other appointments. I was scheduled for the very next day! They were running a little late as they had to finish a job, not a big deal to me. When they showed up, there were 5 guys ready to go. They started on both trees at the same time, with two guys up in the trees cutting and trimming, and three guys on the ground clearing the debris and loading the thrasher. I chose Jimmies Tree Service based on the great Yelp reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. They had a guy come out the same afternoon that I called, and he gave me a reasonable estimate for the removal of a cypress tree (about 8' tall). I also have an uneven lawn in the front of my house due to a very large tree that used to be there and was removed before I bought the house. I had had other companies/individuals come out on various occasions and give me quotes to level the area, and was quoted hundreds of dollars to grind and/or remove the roots that apparently are still there. So I asked Jimmies for an estimate and he told me that, although he would be happy to give me an estimate, I could probably save my money and simply level it with a pickax/shovel/hoe/etc. I really appreciated his honesty, instead of just trying to make a buck. Anyway, he told me he could remove the cypress tree right then and there if I wanted. I was initially worried that the noise might wake my neighbors' babies, but he was so quiet that I barely even heard him myself - and I'm very sensitive to noise! He had the tree down and the area cleaned up in about ten or fifteen minutes. AND, he was super friendly and super nice and super polite! A real pleasure to work with. I Called up Jimmie's Tree service. Jimmie was ready to meet me whenever I was ready. He took his time and explained everything that he could and couldn't do because of my gas line. I work on call so I couldn't give him a specific day to get the job done. He said he could get the job done while I was at work and pick up the money at my convenience. The next day I didn't work. They showed up and cut down all my trees. I couldn't believe how fast and quiet they were. I thought they would be out there making noise all day long. I looked up and they were gone. I went outside and the trees and bush were gone so well that you couldn't tell that they were ever there. Jimmie got a call and had to leave to take care of something. He told me that I could leave the check with one of his men. I was so impressed with the way the work was going I wrote Jimmie the check right then and there. No one had a problem with me watching them work (your always going to keep an eye on your property) and they didn't have a problem with that. Everyone was nice and friendly. The job was as best as can be expected. I wish they could've taken up the one stump but with that gas line there Jimmie already told me they couldn't do it. I also felt good hiring Jimmie's because they are a family bussiness. They are all "American". I'm not a racist but I do feel bad when I hire someone and the people actually doing the work are not here legally, taking jobs away from Americans. It felt good giving the work to Americans. They deserved it by the work they did. The only complaint that I have is that I wished that they would have let me know when they finished so I could come out and give a final inspection of the job. The office personnel is very professional. They ground up a stump in my back yard and took out a tree and were in and out in a flash, leaving my place cleaner than it was before. Jimmie and his crew took down two trees for me today that I don't think they bargained for. They were in pretty tight quarters in my backyard, 30 feet or so high and impossible to get the stump grinder to in order to finish the job. No problem, but not easy, for these guys. Found Jimmies Tree Service on yelp and requested an estimate. In about an hour they came over to give us an estimate. After obtaining two other estimates, we decided to go with Jimmies Tree Service. They were very flexible with their scheduling and came on time with two large trucks and a large, professional and polite crew. They started around 7:30 and were finished around 1. We were really impressed on how fast and efficient their crew worked. We would definitely use them again. Also, we had two metal sheds that we needed to be torn down and hauled away.
