Great cuts but he never opens on time. Suppose to open at 9am and every time I come around 8:50 to be the first one and he shows up way after 9. I'm here waiting outside and it's 9:15 Today I came at 8:50am as this place is supposed to open at 9 I was first in line and they got here at 9:20am. We've been to multiple barbers in the area, and this is by far the best in service and affordability! Jimmy (the first chair) seems to be the most requested... they usually have ppl waiting from the moment they open! My son and husband prefer the younger woman in the second chair (she is also highly requested), mainly because my son claims she has a more gentle hand. This is my first time bringing him, my husband usually brings him and I can see why this barber shop is as busy as it gets... Great service and great work at a great price! read more

Do not go here or at least do not let the older lady working there cut your hair. She cut my son's hair and I thought the worst part was that she went off the hairline. But no! When we got home we noticed she also cut off some of his eyebrow. At no point did she tell me what had happened, she only apologized when she noticed I flipped his hair back and could see the horrible job she did. When we called to complain we only got an Im sorry. Did not offer a refund or to fix anything. I understand that you get what you pay for but we've gone to other places that charge the same and had never experienced something like this. If I could I would put -5stars! HORRIBLE PLACE! I should know better- you get what you paid for! I asked if they cut woman's hair- they said "yes"! Reality is, they don't cut, they DESTROY IT! I asked to "trim"- "little bit"! And the pictures show what he actually did! Before start cutting, the guy turns you in a way you cant see what he is doing! I noticed, by looking to the floor, that he was cutting too much! And told him "I cant see what you are doing! I don't want a short hair, just to trim the edges" The worse is, instead of assume the error and apologize, he kept on saying "it is not short, it is not short"! Honestly gave this place way too many tries. It seems like if you're not getting your haircut by the owner , Jimmy, then you're bound for a bad hair day. My son had long hair and we asked for a specific style (#30 bc the woman asked what style #), just to proceed and cut my son's hair the typical flathead and choppy look. We asked for a fade & hairline cleanup , she pushed his hairline wayyyy back on one side and if my husband hadn't stopped her, she probably would've kept going. Not worth it even if it's cheap. Make sure when you come, get your hair cut by the boys. The ladies have no clue what's going on. I've been coming here for a long time now & I'm always happy with the results. For $7 bucks honestly you can't beat that. Jimmy is the owner of this establishment, & he's legit. But if you want to get your hair cut by him, make sure you come with time. There is always about an hour wait Time to see him during the weekend If you can't wait that long, I would suggest coming during the week. The downside to coming here is that it's cash only, they don't take credit or debit so make sure you bring cash. I went to jimmy's barber shop TWICE. The first time I asked for a faded haircut, and seemingly the guy did not know what I meant and instead did a small trim of my hair that looked like it didn't make any difference at all. I didn't want to be mean about it so I said it was okay and left. I gave the shop a SECOND chance and I went in and asked for an undercut. The barber did not know what an undercut was and barely made it look like an actual undercut. In addition he trimmed my hair that is now unproportional on both sides. Whenever I wake up from a sleep, both sides stick up and won't go down. Whenever that happens, I know the haircut was very bad. Not going to this barber again. read more

He takes his time cutting hair so well and perfect which explains why he has a waiting area outside the door for his clients. I found this place on yelp. And im normally too busy to write reviews. But I think it's worth it to let yall know. I am super happy that I came here! It made my day better. I always cut my own hair. But I broke my arm a week ago and cant do it myself now. So I went to jimmy's barber shop and got hooked up! Not only did I get an awsome hair cut. but I got a shave, my beard and mustach trimmed too. excelent job done for sure. and the kicker is it only cost me 10 bucks for it all! the mans name that took care of me is " Dat " I believe. and he really knows what he is doing. Don't come here unless you get your haircut by Jimmy the owner because anybody else will seriously f****** your hair. Jimmy is always friendly does a semi decent job and it's worth what you pay for. My poor boyfriend came in here two weeks ago and asked to get a long fohawk and came out looking like a cockatoo with a gentleman's haircut. This place is complete garbage. The barbers don't know how to cut hair at all. They don't even refund your money or apologize for for destroying my sons hair. I've been coming here since the doors opened. It is a Vietnamese operated barber shop and the owner Jimmy is very friendly. It's not in the best of shopping centers and at times you'll see homeless or just strange people wander by or into the barber shop but never had any bad experiences whatsoever. As for the haircuts jimmy is simply the best bang for the buck. I wouldn't recommend any other barber there except him, although the barber at the end who just came back after being gone a few months has improved his craft he's cut my hair the past two visits and I have been very pleased. If its your first time though I'd say stick to Jimmy he won't disappoint. I have seen him do a variety of styles high fades, low fades, tapered fades, fohawks, regular boys cuts, flat tops, and every customer has seemed happy with their haircut. I have even seen him cut woman's hair. He understands English and will work with any style you want just be sure to speak up!! I usually pay $10 for the $6 haircut since even $10 is cheaper than these high priced barber shops like tru school n rosewood. If you are looking for a clean fade or haircut then jimmy is your guy. He doesn't do designs but his fades are up there with the best of them. It's a cash only place and can get busy on Fridays after 3 and Saturday's from open till about 2 so get there early on those days. I read more
