Nothing was on the shelf, I asked about it. They searched around, couldn't find anything and then all of a sudden one of the guy said oh they're sitting on top of the oven. The Night Club too, both the Vito & Night Club uses Ham, Salami, Capicola, Two types of cheeses LTO Mayo, Olive Oil.... Portions are good the Gargantuan, when your actually starving. I really gotta stop coming here. Each time is a new disaster. Today they had no bread prepared. They made the sandwich on yesterday's 50 cent bread but for the same price as a normal sandwich. i absolutely LOVE this location! delivery is freaky fast and i got the most amazing delivery driver i have ever had in my whole life! Anthony, who had the nicest smile, handed me my order just as i ordered: #9 with kickin ranch, 2 pickles, some jimmy chips, and a diet coke. He even had a super nice pen, and he let me sign the receipt with it. I wish this app let me select a negative star rating. Today I ordered lunch for a coworker and myself for delivery while at work. I placed the order at 12:26 and thinking "freaky fast" I would have them most likely within a half hour or so. 45 minutes go by and I call just to check up on the order, the kid on the phone informs me it will be on its way soon. A half hour later I call again. And ask for another update (im being polite the whole time because I understand they are busy during covid) the kid says this time it will be on its way in 5 minutes. Another 45 minutes go by and I call again, starting to get annoyed with the service. They say it will take about a half hour and I ask if I can just pick up the sandwiches instead. The guy on the phone says sure no problem. I take time to leave work and pick up the sandwiches. The best part of my day is when I get to the store theres a girl at the counter who states that they ran out of bread a long time ago and that her delivery driver was supposed to tell me that a long time ago.... Really impressed with the customer service here! My family has eaten here many times with typically fast service and yummy sandwiches. Last weekend our order was incorrect, so I commented through the app to customer service. Within a day I received an email from corporate, an email from the GM at our local Jimmy John's here in Barrington, and then a call from the GM who offered me a credit. Wow! Amazing customer support. Nothing wrong with the sandwich or the service, just the price! The owner raised prices in July way above other JJ stores and way above the prices on the internet. The manager explained it was because the minimum wage was increased IN CHICAGO. I asked did the Barrington staff get a raise. You can guess the answer! We live on the North Side of the Fox Point neighborhood and were just notified that they no longer deliver to our area. Our daughter who babysits often orders sandwiches for dinner and obviously needs delivery since she can't leave her clients children to pick up. We are less than 2 miles from the store. I ordered a sandwich, chips and a drink to my work. They did arrive at a decent time, but I instantly noticed my bag felt lighter then expected. I opened the bag and found that my chips were not there, I called and the manager told me they would quickly deliver the chips. I was satisfied with the situation until the driver came in and stated "Supposedly we forgot the chips" first off YOU DID, but I'm not going to even waste my time arguing with someone over a true fact. Once I got to my lunch room I realized I also didn't receive a straw in my bag. And to make matters worse, I soon found a hair in my sandwich after eating a 3rd of the sandwich. The sandwiches are very tasty and they never mess up my order. the only negative thing i have to say is, last week i decided to drive over to the shop myself to order, and the manager, who was making the sandwiches was screaming at one of his employees extremely violently. I come in about once a week for my Italian with pep. Love it. I'd say this location is average, which is solid, I've eaten a lot of JJs. I read some reviews about small portions and I have had one or two like that. I think it depends on who makes your sandwich. In general though this location is actually getting better. Opened sandwich (cold cardboard for bread) and saw 2 TWO small pieces of turkey on whole thing plus some lettuce and a few tomatoe slices with mayo slipped on.
