Visited this location several times and the food is consistently good. I love the broccoli cheddar soup and it is my favorite place for that soup. Their iced tea is very good too. Prices are a bit high for some items but the soup is priced competitively. Restaurant is clean. Staff is friendly. I will be back. read more

The quality of the food here has really down down hill. Recent purchases were getting slightly worse and my last purchase you could clearly see the avocado was rotten (it was right on the top, don't they even look at what they are serving?) and the lettuce on the salad was slimy and old. Since I ordered it online and picked it up they said they would have to process the return and it would take a few days. Here we are a month later and still no refund. The au jus is straight soy sauce! The potatoes are under baked. The sandwiches are okay. The Mac n cheese is super hot garbage. The tea is decent but the bag of chips is where it's at! The girl at the counter doesn't project her voice. I wasn't sure if she offered me a beverage or if she was hitting on my wife. Stop hitting on my wife. First time and wow so horrible. Deli was clean. The Bread on the Italian sub was terrible deli meats so salty almost couldn't eat! Chicken Club was ok but when you only sell sandwiches they should be fantastic. Service was great but we will never eat here again. My experience, I ALWAYS get the Ultimate Nachos when I come and get a bite to eat. It's the perfect family dish, but I do recommend you get two if you are in a big group. I love their spuds and sandwiches, it's perfect for lunch and dinner. I also recommend you get their cookies because they are really good and they have a variety of them. This place is a go to whenever I am the mood for good tasting Nachos! If you go, you cannot miss the Peach Tea drink. They take black tea with sugar, then they take a really good sweet Peach syrup. But, once you get it. I do recommend you mix it with the straw they provide you because the sauce will be to sweet. Their deserts are good, I only got one and it was a price of cake. The sandwiches are okay, not bad but nothing to write home about. The potatoes are HUGE which is a lot of fun visually but the toppings are pretty surface level so the potato gets pretty bland after a while. We got the peach tea as well but didn't taste any peach, it was still pretty good though. read more

My son and I stopped by for lunch. He loves the French dip beef sandwich. He was very excited for me to try this new deli. I ordered a southwest salad and a McAlister's sweet tea (which was awesome)! I think I had three bites of my salad, I was so hungry! Suddenly, I came across a slimy, moldy piece of lettuce leaf stuck far down in the bowl. I can say I was immediately nauseated and lost my appetite. A gentleman came up and I explained/showed him the leaf. He asked if I wanted something else, which I declined, credited my bill and we left. I'm not so sure I'll be back. Maybe if I was offered a voucher, I would be.... but if I ate that piece of lettuce unknowingly, I know I would've been sick. It was gross. Certainly when someone enters a new place and it's got "deli" in it's name, you want to feel that there's some warmth in the concept. Not much at McAlister's. The service guy that took my order was very pleasant, as was the girl that delivered my sammich to the table, and the (I assume) manager that wlaked by and asked how things were. No problem there. Of course it's clean because it's brand new. The problem, and the reason i wont' ever go back, is that it;'s the same old same old. It could be a Panera, it could be any of the multitude of other cookie cutter lunch-type places that feel so ultimately corporate that you know you'll never remember anything you've just eaten. My sandwich, the Ham & Cheese Toasty is a perfect example of an unmemorable choice. However, I WILL remember it as having the most brown mustard I've ever seen loaded onto a single sandwich in my life. There appeared to be fully 2 tablespoons of brown mustard AND 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise on the sandwich. Perhaps it was to cover up the lack of, well, ham. The ciabatta roll would have been very tasty if it wasn't lathered, on both the top and the bottom with said lubricants. I'm still tasting the mustard. The ham was NOT sufficient for the sandwich, which is a deal breaker right there. Clearly the lazy millennial in the back has never eaten a properly prepared sandwich in their life. We walked in and were greeted with a smile and handed menu. Ordered potato soup and it was delicious! We were approach a few times at the table asking how everything was and they cleared our table quickly. It's been nicely remodeled, very spacious and nice atmosphere. I would recommend it! read more

Like other McAlister's delis, the staff here is unusually friendly and helpful. The food is a variation on traditional deli offerings, with some of their best choices being part of the "choose two" menu. It's still in its learning cycle as each time we've been here the orders have been a little mixed up, with soup being served with the sandwiches rather than with the nachos we ordered each time, but all of it is straightened out pretty easily. This last visit they served us a full order of the Ultimate Nachos instead of the half that comes with the choose two, but it was missing the normal delicious guacamole that comes with it. I'm pretty sure that this will all be worked out over time and this has become one of our regular places. read more

One woman was really doing her best to get everything done but it wasn't enough. Get some help or don't open. Total confusion and long, long waiting time. read more

I wrote to the corporate office THREE times and NEVER got a response... Actually, The few sandwiches I tried was ok or good. Their food taste good or better than Wendy's or McDonalds. But Just for this location, The Staffs are unprofessional, they don't know how to handle the order. Mostly they are not pay attention what they are doing. Also, the customer service phone never answered So there's no way to contact their corporate office for customer service. But the store staff's had no problem to contact their corporate office. We love McAlister's! First tried them in Colorado, was happy to see they opened up in Lake Zürich! Almost always get the pick 2, and usually try a salad and half a sandwich.
