Kenneth the manager really came through with his offer of a better sandwich! Hopefully all my orders will be great!

Service is below mediocre. First the lady argued with me about the multu grain bread vs French (I just said I wanted French bc they've switched them in the past). Not very helpful staff. Then when I asked them to cut my sandwich in half (I had already ordered and paid) they said "It's too late". How hard is it to cut a sandwich after I order at 3pm on a Saturday when there is absolutely no one in the store??

Purely theoretical tuna on this tuna salad sandwich that took and hour to get the 4 blocks to my office.

Clearly the glass had not been properly cleaned. I brought it to the bartender's attention and while she offered to remake the drink, there was no apology beyond that, no refund offer, and honestly no sense of urgency or concern about serving a dirty glass. By that point, I was completely put off and declined the replacement. I understand mistakes happen, but cleanliness at a bar should be the bare minimum, especially when it comes to drinkware. Unfortunately, this experience ruined the visit for me and I won't be returning.

I love the atmosphere as there was soft, soothing music playing in the background. I got a intimate, family feel as I saw who I believed to be a young family member there. I will say this flavor particularly was a 5/5 for me. It was exactly what I was looking for (carbs, spicy Caesar salad...not hard to please). However, I haven't found myself wanting to come back even though I drive past this area pretty frequently. If I did come back, I'd probably just order the same flavor again because it was that good. The Zeppelin is very filling though and kept me good for 2 meals, I just think nothing else on the menu appealed to me (other than the Spicy Tejano) enough to steer away from my go-to sandwich/bowl places if the craving for that type of food ever came. The staff were super friendly though and parking wasn't terrible. I can see why they chose the location since it is a great lunch spot for people in the area tbat want something quick but don't wanna run into the mall/opt for fast food drive thru.

The inside definitely has a Cajun feel to it with the decor; very Louisiana. I was greeted and made the 4th quarter decision to get a muffuleta, chips and a canned pop. So when I decided to give Angelo Z's a try, I came in hopeful but ready to judge with the precision of a seasoned shrimp connoisseur. First, I'll give credit where it's due: the place is designed beautifully. Clean, inviting, well thought-out décor. The staff? Top-notch. Friendly smiles, fast service -- the kind of welcome that makes you want to pull up a chair and stay awhile. But then my shrimp po'boy arrived. And that's where things took a turn. The bread was toasted -- yes, toasted -- which, for a Louisiana po'boy, is already a red flag. To make matters worse, it wasn't even the traditional French bread that's light, airy inside, and has that delicate crackle on the crust. Instead, it was a dense, over-toasted loaf that crunched like I was chewing on a roofing shingle. Then came the real deal-breaker: I bit in and realized the shrimp hadn't been deveined. At all. And for anyone who knows seafood, that black line running down the back isn't some "seasoning" -- it's grit and waste. One glance at that and my appetite clocked out. I understand I'm not in Louisiana anymore, and I'm all for creative spins on classics, but there's a line between "putting your own twist" on something and missing the fundamentals altogether. Unfortunately, this missed the mark in a way I couldn't overlook. Beautiful space. Wonderful people. But for me? A shrimp po'boy that isn't deveined, on the wrong bread, and toasted into oblivion isn't a po'boy worth coming back for.

The pickles they provide before your sandwich arrives are yummy- not like a traditional out of the bar pickle. These are what I remember from NYC. Garlic and not sweet.
