This JJ's is average. The food is a bit overpriced compared to what you get at Subway. Staff can be chill at times.

I tried the toasted Beach Club sandwich for the first time. I love the cold Beach Club sandwich. I couldn't find the turkey and called the store. The nice employee who talked to me walked me through the steps to find the turkey. I found shreds of turkey under the cheese and next to the bread. Technically, there was turkey. Morally, there was not. $10 that I won't be getting back for a miserable sandwich. Turkey should be last on the list of ingredient, not first. read more

My daughter ordered a sandwich to be picked up at 1:00. She got here and they told her it wasn't done. She waited 10 minutes and asked again. They said another 5 minutes. She waited the 5 m8nutes and had to return to work. No lunch for her today. She asked me to pick it up for as it had already been paid for. First let me start off by saying these are the reviews I absolutely hate giving out but here it goes. Coming to Jimmy John's was pretty good until I came to this location in Canyon City. There was obviously a misunderstanding when I ordered my sub. I didn't realize "ordering a slim" meant only meat and or cheese, depending on your type of sub and no other ingredients. I guess I got confused and thought I was ordering a mini 3 inch (if that's what it's called) but maybe those are gone? I have no idea! At this point they have so many items and changes on their menu, it's gotten a little confusing. The issue now doesn't lie with the lack of ingredients on my sub-- at this point it's more about the lack of customer service when I had asked an employee about it. Instead of giving me a clear concise answer, my simple question kept going around in circles. Finally after asking a simple question-- can I buy the veggies from you. (I don't mind paying extra) the employee straight up said-- I don't know how to do that. I was bewildered! I realized there was no getting through to this individual either because they don't know what they are doing or just don't understand English. I left pretty frustrated because this just doesn't make sense. UNLESS JJ's policy is they don't offer that option to buy extra ingredients-- then just say so. I brought this up to management and someone named Alexander gave me a slogan response instead of dealing with me like a normal person would. This only further shows me that if management doesn't care to provide helpful service then why would the rest of the employees provide quality customer service. I got a stomach ache minutes after eating this. The sandwich bread was hard and tasted alittle weird, but I decided to eat it because it costed a lot of money. I wouldn't recommend coming here. Maybe drive to Colorado Springs to get jj's. read more

Over priced and food was just ok. Ordered two summer wraps and one small soft drink. $25...way too much considering we didn't get a traditional sandwich with fresh made bread. They double charged us. When I called about it the next business day, the young girl who answered the phone didn't seem to care and just said to call back the next day when the GM was there. I asked for the GM's name and she would only give me his first name, Dave, and refused to give me his last name. She did finally say his name was Dave Dave. She then refused to give me her first name at all. When asked again for her name, she hung up on me. I called back and I can only assume she just put the phone down and went about her business unresponsive to me on the phone. I tried once more and same behavior. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any place of business! A simple mistake of double charging that could've been rectified with simple polite behavior has now lead me to believe this place might be malicious and may be cheating people intentionally! read more

The girl making my sandwich touched her hair with her gloves, scratched her arm and then touched my sandwich meat when I pointed it out to her she gave me a thumbs up and walked away completely ignoring me and so rudely. I waited for her and asked for her manager and she said "I'm the manager" which if that's true this restaurant should be under higher scrutiny because that's terrible. she said her name was Abby and and was wearing a cartoon Rick and Morty mask, hopefully this girl gets fired before the health department gets called but they just lost a customer. read more

I grew up in Cañon with limited food options so I was excited when Jimmy Johns decided to come to town. I think it's a great addition from Subway. I went through the drive thru and ordered 4 sandwiches each with customized options and they made every sandwich correct and within a fast amount of time. I love that they listened and made the sandwiches correctly because that doesn't always happen. really terrible. got a sandwich and the bread was so freaking hard that we couldn't eat it. you really should be serving crap. I called to tell them and the guy said "yeah my day shift made the bread wrong" and I told him that he shouldn't be serving it if it was made wrong. My first time at JJ. Very disappointed I ordered a #2 Big John. It was anything but Big, or tasty for that matter. For a bit more than $10 I got a slice and a half of roast beef and a slice of provolone (the only cheese they offer) on a plain roll. I left the tomato and Mayo off because they cover the taste of the sandwich mainstays. Very plain, very boring. read more

Visited on 12-7-2020 @ approx 5:15 pm & I had super fast service! I Went through the drive through. The kid at the window was very polite but had his mask below his nose. I wasn't sure if he was the one that made my sandwich or if it was someone that was wearing a mask appropriately. I paid 10.50$ for a sandwich and chips. Drove home thinking about the kid with his nose out. I'm a nurse and need to stay healthy to take care of Covid patients. I got home and threw my sandwich in the trash. Absolutely disgusted with this location and it looks like many others are too!! Let me tell you about my two lovely experiences I had with Brian. Hes a real peach, let me tell you. He claims he's a "manager". Not sure where he got that idea but its wrong. He has a piss poor attitude, no customer service skills what so ever and probably should not be dealing with the public. I think trash service his more his style, but then again he would know nothing about picking trash up because he leaves his store trashed. This staff seems to think its okay to leave their personal belongings scattered over the entire store where customers eat. These items included their dirty clothes, their vapes and vape juice, personal drinks, food, cell phone Chargers, and the list goes on. Completely disgusting. The orders are not only wrong but disgusting, bagging to-go orders is a major task for them and they just can't figure out out how to do it so they slam the bag on the counter and tell you to do it yourself. Last I checked this wasn't Walmart self check out. The other "manager" doesn't seem to know how to manage his staff and doesn't want to deal with them or their behaviors because I was told NOT to call back. Thats fine because I took the next step and I will be getting my money back. The owner has also been notified. I doubt anything will be done, so its just a matter of time before this location closes. Thats how the businesses are in Canon. They will see. In the mean time, please avoid this location. read more

I love Jimmy John's and I go once a week there . I Stood in line for about 10 minutes with one gentleman in front of me. When I went in there was one car in the drive-through and after the 10 minutes I spent waiting for service , 10 cars had gone through The drive-through before the two kids making sandwiches even looked up to see if there was anybody in the store. I know they heard myself and the other gentleman talking so I know they knew we were there .Love their sandwiches but not enough to be ignored for 10 minutes while the drive-through people were being taken care of. It's definitely faster to go through the drive-through then to go into the store. So I went to subway and I refuse to go back to Jimmy John's they just lost one more paying customer do to piss poor service! read more

I'm going to contradict everyone so far that has written a poor review. Me coming from Denver, this is the place to go for something different other than same old Subway. There bread is fresh, and like Subway it sits in a warmer all day. Sure there isn't a lot of variety with JJ, but you've also got to realize all of you are content in your choices and will refuse to give a new place a try. They are expanding, which is a plus for them. Whether they can deal with the pickiness of Fremont County residences is another story. Yes, I will stand up for them because to me I've had nothing but good experiences with them. One complaint I would have is they don't deliver to Florence. But neither does anywhere else, which makes it a pain to drive for food. Subway started getting boring and it was good seeing a new sandwich place. There meats in my mind are fresh and the bread has always been hot and soft, rarely hard and crunchy. To be offered a free loaf of bread I could have used it for making my own garlic bread at home. Sorry Fremont County, but you all need to have an open mind and realize there's now more than one sandwich place. Their customer service has always been great, and yes, they were really slow when they first opened, aka the first week, but I'm also willing to go back now they've been open a bit longer. This rant I just don't want to be against the people of Fremont as I live here to, but I'd be willing to recommend this place. Went yesterday on my way home from work. Sat in the drive thru and watched my order being made. The male manager and a female line worker stood side by side while making my sandwiches. Yes, she had on gloves ... but, she reached into her butt pocket 2 times to get her cell phone. The first time she texted and the 2nd time she just looked at a reply and shoved the phone back into her butt pocket ...all while wearing the same gloves. I told the young lady at the drive thru window about my displeasure and asked her to address my concerns to the manager; who should have seen it as they were standing shoulder to shoulder. I've only eaten there once but this place is CLEAN! I discovered the unwhich ( = lettuce, no bun) and really thought the price was great! I will eat there again. Went into this Jimmy Johns location and ordered $27.00 worth of food. They were out of normal white hoagie bread giving me wheat as my only option. I ordered a Beach Club with bacon added. It was a hassle to check out, all of the employees seemed preoccupied or dazed, they were out of change so had to wait another 10 minutes for the manager to get some. When we finally got our food (30 minutes later) I opened my sandwich to what looked like old wheat bread that tasted like dirt, slimy meat, no avocado and no bacon. When I called back to the store to complain they said there was nothing they could do for me. I of course was out raged and said I just spent $27.00 for 2 sandwiches, chips and a single drink so you had better do something about it. The girl was VERY rude to me and said my manager says if you bring your food back we can give you some of your money back. I said ok thank you and I was hung up on.
