I used to be a super fan of the Broadway & Briar location, but this location is more convenient. Unlike the dreadful Ohio Street JM location, this is a great experience; just having a clean restaurant this close to Wrigley is a plus. Shout-out to this location for the $12.99 daily special - it's the only way JM is affordable. I wish JM corporate would make this a mandatory special throughout all of their locations.

I opened my Panera app and placed my order for pick up for the time I wanted. When I arrived on time my order was sitting there all bagged up nicely and ready to go. The staff greeted me even though they were back in the kitchen working. I liked that you could see the staff/back into the kitchen, but there was this designated front of house multifunctional pick up/order/waiting space! I knocked one star off because the bakery items in particular were very limited compared to what a typical Panera will have. It might've been the time of day but that's one of the nice things about Panera is you can get those items any time! Keep that in mind and maybe place your order earlier if you want specific bakery items. Otherwise this was a great experience. Oh - and it's in a strip mall so there's a parking lot which is always helpful! :)

And I'd have to pay for it with some vague reference about a coupon for which they would not give details. I told them that that the several other times they got the order wrong they simply remade it so I could come in and grab it quickly. She went into a diatribe about this is corporate policy and how I was asking them put their livelihood at risk - an absurd comment at best. I got the Chicken Avocado Ranch for my selection (Antibiotic-free blackened chicken, avocado, pickled onions, apples, tortilla chips, white rice, chopped romaine, seed oil-free green goddess ranch) and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. As I was home on the Friday after the Xmas Day celebration, hungry, didn't want to cook/heat anything up, I decided to order this salad for dinner through Grubhub. While I was placing the order, I decided to try the Fish Taco for the next day's lunch (Antibiotic-free miso glazed salmon, avocado, shredded cabbage, cilantro, tortilla chips, herbed quinoa, spring mix). This bowl comes with a sweetgreen hot sauce & lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette, but I opted to switch that out for the Green Goddess Ranch and the Miso Sesame Ginger. I loved the fact that I would add or not include certain items. For example, I love goat cheese, so I add that to both bowls and it was delish. Delivery was pretty smooth, with the driver coming up to our floor to drop everything off. Both bowls looked visually pleasing and the overall taste was pretty good. The flavors were nice and there was a freshness to both bowls, even the Fish Taco one on the next day. FYI the Fish Taco bowl can only be ordered online, not ordered in the store...not sure why, but since I will not be going to the store, I am good with that. You also have the option to order a slice of bread with each bowl and that was nice. Next time I will see if I can get a second slice. Total cost for the two bowls, with some add-ons and service fee and tip was about $58. I will say it will be cheaper to go to the store and pick it up yourself, but I will pay to have stuff delivered to me for peace of mind. They do have an app for placing orders, but I will stick with Grubhub because that is free for me through Amazon. I realize sweetgreen has a mission statement about eating healthy, lowering their carbon footprint, a commitment to animal welfare, but before I knew any of that, I still would say the bowls were pretty good. Not that I crave salads or bowls that often, but if I do, this will be the first place I order from.
