Handle everyone's food with one glove! Trash? Just kick it under the carts the night crew will get it!

Just one employee makes this a horrible experience every time they are working. It is bipolar atmosphere with what appears to be employees stealing from the company since they seem to over charge and charge extra every time I order here. I'm officially done with this establishment. There is a gremlin behind the counter that chooses what is complimentary, and they don't follow the proper recipe in making the sandwiches and leaving out some of the meat, I'm always missing two slices of tomatoes. Seems to be very discriminative and not the Jimmy John's I'm use to. They have a sign "no sandwich too fancy" but yet it just seems too complicated every time.

$15.49 Cubano combo... hardly any sandwich.

$15.49 cubano combo.... Hardly any sandwich. Delivered quickly but I feel scammed based on the size of this.

This place was so disappointing as disgusting. It smelled like a sweaty armpit when walking inside and it was so dirty. The sandwich bar where they make the food had stuff all over it - things of meat on it, not in its case at all. I even mentioned it to the guy taking my order and he could have cared less. I got my sandwich and dumped it in the garbage. The meat on the counter was behind the sign. I was trying to be discreet

I used to love this Jimmy Johns.. but after tonight NEVER again. Opened my sandwich, right as I was about to take a bite I noticed something red on the bun. Thought it was a tomato stain so I (stupidly) wiped it. Put the sandwich down to open the lid for my kickn ranch.. and BAM... drop of blood on the wrapper... At this point I'm freaking out and trying to figure out a reasonable explanation. Tried out my tomato theory and wiped tomato juice on the wrapper to see if it would stain the same. NOPE. My husband called to let them know. They said it was because of roast beef juice. I didn't order roast beef.. They sent a new sandwich and took back the old one. Probably not going to eat the new one because I'm just feeling super grossed out. If I get some sort of verification that it could be any other plausible thing besides blood I'll apologize ahead of time for this rant and ramble. But until then... gross

I don't usually review these kinds of places...but they only have 2, so why not?…read more Charleys is quintessential mall food. This Charleys has been up since I was a teenager, maybe around 20 years? They've always been delish. It one of the pricier food court options. I appreciate that they have moved to an app for their rewards system. I would never have the punch cards when I came to the mall maybe once a year in more recent years. I usually order a chicken Philly or chicken California and they're delish. Ordered a Philly steak today and my kid ordered the chicken Cali. It was over $30 for 2 regular combos with ultimate fries and large lemonades. I downloaded the app so I was able to save $5. Issues- you cannot hear the person taking your order and she can't hear you. Order from your app- it will be way easier. Also, they always look more flustered than any of the other food places. Maybe it's just the nature of cooking the meat as orders are placed, maybe it's that they are busier. I don't appreciate spending $30 for mall food and being charged $.69 for a side of ranch. Also, the $5 discount wasnt showing up for me (they have a sign up saying download the app and save $5 on your meal) and the lady was telling me to use it next time. I asked if she would manually discount it and she refused and said I would have to use it next time. For someone that comes to the mall once a year that's less than helpful. Good service goes a long way. Maybe Charleys doesn't care. Maybe it's a mall thing. It eventually worked and I got my $5 discount but it shouldn't be that big of a hassle.

Prices are reasonable for a large sandwich and the condiments included. Each sandwich is made to order and the steak is cooked fresh. Fries are also cooked per order and not sitting in a tray. Yes, a traditional Philly is juts meat and cheese, but each place does have their way of preparing the sandwich they serve. The large 12 inch sandwich will cost around $10 with fries and a Coke an additional $4. Having fresh fries offered as a side is a great alternative to a bag of chips. The sandwich was served warm and had good flavor. Beware the sandwich has Mayo on it which you can make certain is not applied or any condiments you do not desire. This location is in a food court area so there is plenty of seating and no sales tax. Enjoy!

Coming here it was all about those Carne Asada Fries as I don't get that very often anymore and it is just something that I've always loved from my past so finding this totally hit the spot on this given morning! The fries were your normal skinny terrible fries that you always find with this dish along with the super flavorful asada and cheese, sour cream and guacamole to hit the spot and if that weren't enough they had those delicious salsa's that just made the vibe when added to an already yummy pile of goodness! Seriously eating this took me back to my teenage days of late nights in SoCali which was totally what was good as these were perfect just what I could have asked for and something they are totally doing right!

And recently I purchased the mini tres leches cake that they have a photo of on the window of the building(not on the actual menu), like in a mini loaf pan. Like $5+ and I received a small square like a little bigger than a cupcake. Covered in condensed milk, was pretty good but too heavy and too sweet a little disappointing.

If it wasn't for my last visit, this would have been a 5-star review. I hope this was an aberration…read moreand the quality of the tenders is not slipping. I wondered if now that they've been open awhile they are now serving smaller tenders? The chicken - I have dined here 7-8 times since it opened. With the exception of my most recent visit for dinner on 7/10/26, the tenders were big, well-seasoned, juicy and crispy. I was disappointed on the last visit. The tenders were much smaller, were overcooked, and dry. I hope this was a one-off, because I would hate to see the food quality go downhill. The fries - the hand-cut, perfectly cooked and seasoned fries are amazing. The servings are huge, and the fries are hot & crispy. They serve the best fries I've tasted. The condiments - I love the condiment bar! They offer a wide variety of sweet, savory, spicy dipping sauces which you pump into serving cups and come back for more! The fountain beverages are also self-serve with free refills. The custard - I've only ordered the custard once. We took it home and it was very good. You won't be disappointed. However, right across the parking lot is Humble Cow ice cream and, given the choice, I definitely prefer Humble Cow. Service - the service is always efficient and friendly. I like that they bring the food to your table as soon as it's ready, so it's always fresh & hot. Atmosphere - the restaurant and tables have been clean on every visit. They have some TVs for watching games. The high ceilings make it overly loud and the air conditioner makes it so cold you'll want to have a sweater handy. The photo of tenders was from an earlier visit. They were much smaller on the latest visit.

And when I inquired about the various options, was met with a friendly explanation. The place was clean, ambiance casual with tables & chairs or benches. You bus your table afterward.... Pretty self explanatory and easy I placed a small order to try their sauces. It looks like they have a ghost pepper specialty meal which sounds tasty AND a bit scary . Lots of families stopping in for a quick lunch after a soccer event.. several to-go orders picked up while I was there. Moderately busy on a Saturday at 1pm with about 8 other eateries in the same location. The salad option looked good, but basically I'm not a fried food fan and even that includes fried food.... The food was good and the serving size (2 chicken tenders) was more than filling. If I ate fried food, I'd definitely return . It's worth mentioning there is a sign on the front door, warning that they use peanut oil in their product!!!!

I've been here a few times to this location to attest that the fried chicken is delicious!…read moreIt's right next to the Tacoma Mall (literally on the corner). Parking is shared with the mall parking lot; easy to find when it's not busy, but can be challenging to maneuver when it does get busy. Seems like there is just one entrance at the front to the store, where the line is set up from the door so it doesn't feel like there is much room, especially if you're ordering takeout and have to wait for your order. I like to order ahead with the Jollibee app since it offers rewards with a points system and also to limit social interactions. My order is usually ready by the time I arrive, so no complaints there. What's great about Jollibee fried chicken is that it's fried perfectly, even when it's not fresh. I'm not going to question the magic behind it, I will just say it tastes crispy and yummy and tastes great with rice or the gravy that it comes with. The portions are fair for the price. My pre-teen son likes their spicy chicken sandwich; for the "spice," it comes with Sriracha mayo and jalapeños but we usually exclude the jalapeños. The chicken tenders taste a bit mediocre and chewy for me, so probably won't order that again. When it comes to sides, the mashed potatoes and the spaghetti is good! The spaghetti is a bit on the sweeter side for me, but I like all the ingredients mixed into it. I can taste some meat (beef or sausage?) and cheese. I tried it for the first time yesterday and might order it again. I haven't tried the fries here since the pics don't look all that impressive to me. You can't go wrong with the dessert pies if you're craving something sweet. They do have the ube pie here and the peach mango pie. Drink options are fairly limited though.. I mean, you have your classic soda options but the only specialty drink they offer is their pineapple quencher drink. I was expecting this location to offer similar drink options compared to the Mack Rd/South Sac location in California (I frequented that location when I lived there but recently moved to Washington). They had a coconut dream freeze and lychee iced tea and other drink options I really enjoyed, but there's nothing like that at this location. Hence the 4 stars since I'm mainly just coming here for the fried chicken. Another reason is because some items appear out of stock. I wad able to order adobo rice for my previous visit a few weeks ago but when I went earlier this week, that option wasn't available on the app (which was why I decided to try out the spaghetti). They currently are doing a limited time collab with Final Fantasy XIV where you can get an exclusive "Eat Chicken" emote with purchase of the FFXIV box meal or 6 pc bucket bundle, but personally, I feel that it's overpriced and you're paying about $7 for the emote. If you haven't had Jollibee before, I'd recommend trying their chicken at least once. Definitely better quality than Popeyes and KFC (with the exception of the chicken tenders).

We decided to give Jollibee a try after hearing so much about it, but unfortunately it wasn't for…read moreus. The spaghetti was easily the worst I've ever had, and the fried chicken was rubbery rather than crispy and juicy. The experience in the restaurant didn't help either. The digital menu boards kept changing while I was trying to decide what to order, which made ordering more frustrating than it needed to be. The soda machine was also out of service, and the pineapple quencher cost extra, which felt like an unnecessary upsell when the standard fountain drinks weren't available. I also happened to see a food delivery while we were there and watched employees preparing frozen fries for the fryer. I understand that's standard practice at many fast-food restaurants, but it reinforced that the food wasn't what I was hoping for. Overall, I don't really understand the hype. Based on our experience, we won't be back.
