People have hyped up Jimmy John's to me so much so I wanted to finally try it. Interior was clean and nice when I entered, and my sub was made fast. Ultimate Italian (3/5): Upon ordering online I noticed there was only one bread option (French), which was a bit disappointing but otherwise fine. It was put into the oven so the bread got quite crispy, and the meat poking out the bun also got crispy at the edges. In my first bite it was just... lacking so much flavor. Italian subs usually have a creaminess from the mayo, an acidity and taste of oregano. There wasn't really any of that. Tasted very lunch meaty. On more than one occasion, we've ordered online at 2:30 p.m. on a Sunday (hours say open until 4:30 p.m. The website accepted our order and the tracker showed as order confirmed. After more than an hour without progress, we called the store only to find they had closed early without saying a word. This was confirmed by a nearby location as a common habit of this particular store. Today, I drove there myself to get little Johns. When we opened them up at home, I cut off the ends which looked dark, and upon further inspection the ends of the bread were dark because they had mold on them. I ordered on their app and they called me and told me they didn't have any drivers. I then proceeded to order with Uber eats (obviously to have someone deliver my food as they don't have any drivers). They then called and told me that "Uber eats is weird and we have our own drivers" and insinuated that they don't even use Uber eats because he wasn't able to cancel the order and we would have to do it. This is all stemming from the fact that I complained to them previously because I ordered from their app awhile back and after an hour of waiting for my food, they then called and told me they had a rush and ran out of bread. If it isn't stemming from that, they are definitely lying about something, considering he stated that they couldn't cancel the Uber order and we would have to do it, yet when questioned about a cancellation confirmation my order was magically cancelled via uber after we got off the phone. This jimmy John's deserves negative stars and has terrible customer service. On top of that they are displaying retaliatory behavior and refusing to to take any ownership and responsibility for anything to make this better.
