For 10+ years I've had great ordering with this store. My orders are right and fresh. They get a 5 in my book. The store is small but the energy is high... go there at noon on a week day and watch them burn through online delivery orders and walk ups without missing a beat. It's a well oiled machine. This place is exactly what you expect. Fast service and decent sandwiches. Been using them for years for both delivery and pick up. They have always gotten the order right. Sandwiches are ready right away. Never had an issue. Not much else to say about this place other than that I will be suing them for the foreseeable future when just need something fast and relatively cheap. WOW - if I could give this location NO STARS I would. I placed an order an hour ago. Just called to check on the status and the manager said it was still there. I asked for an update on approximate time of delivery and she said she didn't know - she was "running around like a mad women and we are short on drivers". She proceeded to tell me that it would "probably be another 45 minutes to an hour" - TWO hours for Jimmy Johns?!?!?! The worst part is she was extremely rude to me - I'm the customer and now without lunch for the day and she ended the call by screaming "Ma'am....I'll void your order"....and hanging up on me. WOW! I waited a week to post this to see if anyone would get back to me. The sandwich was okay. HOWEVER, the delivery driver Sarah in the silver Kia Soul was TERRIBLE!!! First of all I myself am in customer service. I understand what it's like dealing with people. She stormed into the studio I was working at (I was in service but heard her while I was with a client) yelling "JESS" which at that point my front desk rep was like, yeah that's for here! She proceeded to yell at my employee that she was driving around everywhere for 15 minutes trying to find this place. The business name was on the ticket so I don't understand what the issue was. Don't you have GPS? At this point I come out and say yes can I help you?! She yelled yet again "you need to start putting your location on here because this was just ridiculous" I said "oh I'm sorry about that! It says it right there that it's to this location" she then proceeds into a 15 minute rant. I say that I'm sorry but I need to get back to my client and I don't have time to be yelled at currently. She says "well you need to write down my tip." So I put a zero, because that level of customer service is ridiculous. She then YELLS "OH THATS FUCKING NICE." I had to ask her to leave because she was making my clients, my staff and myself feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. She proceeded to yell and speed out of our parking lot almost hitting two other customers. I called 20 minutes later to her manager that did NOTHING but say "oh okay. Sorry." Normally, when I'm doing back to back interviews I have a great sandwich delivered. SO, I would have put down 4 stars. Today, I got paged. While on my interview. I got off it and contacted the receptionist, who let me know that the sandwich had arrived, and was I going to come up and get it? A bit confused, I rolled up and there was a crabby delivery guy. I asked if there was a problem and was met with an interesting look, and a remark about the tip and how it's how he makes his living in a surly voice. A) I guess tips are required. Sandwiches are great but if you receive a wrong item you may not get the credit you deserve. In November of 2016 I ordered over the phone because our company address does not translate well over their online ordering menu. They misheard what I ordered and gave me a whole extra sandwich (they heard pepe not pickle). At the time I was a strict vegetarian and could not eat the sandwich. I called to see if I could get a credit because I do like their sandwiches. I received a credit (even though I didn't feel confident because the man on the phone did not seem to be paying attention when I told him what happened, but I was assured there was a credit). Today, I ordered expecting to use my credit. Even though everything went smoothly this time (she even repeated my order back perfectly to ease any concern of a duplicated situation) she pulled up my account and there was only a 2.54 credit on there. I was really disappointed because the sandwich was 5.75! I asked why the difference and she said she didn't knowand told me my order would be delivered soon. I understand needing to be fast during the rush and not knowing why the discrepancy but at least give me the credit for something I couldn't eat! Edit: I just received the food and my sandwich was wrong. Don't even know how that happened since she repeated it but I spent an extra $1.50 than I wanted because it was an incorrect sanwich. read more

I know this is just another one of thousands of identical Jimmy Johns locations, but these guys really do it right. I order from this location about once a week, either online for delivery or in person. The location is buzzing at lunchtime as it is located in one of the busiest strip malls / feeding troughs in Golden Valley. However, delivery to my office has always been on time or early, and delivered with a smile. On location, they have my BLT sans mayo plus sauce ready by the time I've paid and selected the perfect bag of skinny chips. But the real reason I return to this Jimmy Johns week after week is because one of the first times I was in there, the sandwich maker (do they call them "artists" here like they do at Subway?) handed me my sandwich and with a smile said, "This sandwich was made with love and unicorn tears. Have a great day!" If that statement wouldn't keep you coming back for more, I don't know what would. 4/4.5 stars because it's still just a take-out sandwich shop, and sometimes the heel of the sandwich loaf tastes like it sat out for a little to long. read more

Worked here for a while, and so I've gotten pretty up close and intimate with this location. The area inside is quite small, but service is stupidly quick, so much so that when I was cashier, many sandwiches were done by the time I could print out the receipt. Location is good too, but I always have felt their sandwiches have lacked. Unlike other places like Subway, Arbys, or Firehouse Subs, Jimmy Johns is exclusively cold-cuts, and I've never really been a fan of that. Perhaps if that's your thing, try them out, but otherwise, I think there's better places to visit. read more

Walked into Jimmy Johns tonight to an empty store with at least four employees behind the counter. When I got home, I reached in the bag to find a sandwich with brown lettuce, the completely wrong order including the mayo I asked them to leave off. Why spend $8 on an experience like this when you can go to Chipotle/Noodles/five other places within walking distance away? I wouldn't make a sandwich with brown lettuce for myself let alone a paying customer. read more

I live at Emerald Pointe Apartment Complex at 7611 36th Ave N, New Hope, MN. I tried to place an order but was told that they would not be able to deliver to my location because they don't deliver pass 32nd Ave North. Mind you, I saw a JimmyJohn's delivery car at my apartment complex less than 2 wks ago making a delivery. They stated that they try to deliver within a 3-5 minute drive from their location. Next I called the Bass Lake Road/Winnetka Jimmy John's location and was told that they do not deliver pass 42nd Avenue North/Rockford Road/County Road 9. I will not patronize Jimmy John's establishments because both locations which reside on Winnetka Ave N /Hwy 55 & Winnetka Ave N/Bass Lake Road do not deliver between northbound Winnetka Av N/32nd Ave N & southbound Winnetka/42nd Ave N. read more

I ordered for lunch from work. I stepped away from my desk and missed the call. It was about 9 minutes from ordering and delivery. Im 5 minutes from the location. so was the sandwich pre-made???? Anyway the delivery guy just left my food at the door, just sitting there. I dont appreciate my food being put on the floor and secondly anyone could've came by and picked it up. So anyway I called to complain and all I got was a sorry, I'll talk to the driver... No comps, no refunds for leaving my food on the floor, nothing, nada, zilch, zero.
