Went yesterday to redeem for a free sandwich I guess since it was free I got the Chintzy sandwich I ordered the 6 inch PEPE 2 slices of ham and a slice of provolone cheese It was mostly veggies with mayonnaise. On a loaf of bread. I added my own cheese at home to atleast make it a cheese sandwich. Looks nothing like the advertised sandwich. I'm very disappointed. I'll stick with Jersey Mikes. read more

#81/2023 So I've had numerous sandwiches from here I'm surprised over the years I never dropped a review. No need for a giant one it's like any other Jimmy John's although a few things kind of disgruntled me I found out on this last visit here on the 15th of December 2023 Corporate office has decided to eliminate some of my favorite mustards the Jimmy mustard and the Gray Poupon dijon mustard ®™and they're just going to have the regular old yellow mustard whoppee:⁠-⁠( We'll see what happens there when I like to get my roast beefs. It doesn't really change though cuz I don't put mustard on the turkey toms when I do like the turkey or the Italian ones I go with the vinegar and the oil. But I came in order the number for the Turkey Tom the bread was nice and fresh along with the lettuce tomato and Mayo I added cheese like I usually do. Other than that I got combo w thinny chips which are still available in my local market and I had a Diet Coke and ate in there. So most of these like a lot of Yelp vs Google/trip advisor places are not very current reviews. So even though my four stars because this is definitely above average to me not average probably won't swing the bar too much but I did my part This is still one of the better ones as far as quality and my opinion with about five within a equal driving distance other than this one by my house the other ones are about 15 minutes away any direction. read more

Way too slow to be "freaky fast", cocky staff, and food that's best described as "meh". It's not the worst, but as far as JJ locations goes, it's one of my least favorites. I've had deliveries take over an hour. read more

They always get my order right and ready within minutes. I don't know if their staff is friendly or not because I usually order online. However, I've ordered probably 7 times and have never had an issue. read more

I'm a pregnant woman that walked in to order. There is a sign stating everyone must wear a mask. I walk in with my mask. Four customers not respecting social distancing and none wearing a mask. Three employees were working one was speaking to the customers without a mask covering her face. I walked out. I do not trust their safety procedures. read more

I like my subs warm, and I've always wished that Jimmy John's would heat/toast their subs. They've got good bread and quality ingredients, but I tend not to get food there because they only have cold subs. Anyway, my wife and I went today for their $1 sub promotion (because who wouldn't), and my wife is 7 months pregnant. For those who don't know, it's not good for pregnant women to eat cold deli meat. We asked if they could heat up the meat for her, and they wouldn't do it. They said they don't have anything to heat it up. You know who does heat up subs for pregnant women? Jersey Mike's. That's right, they take good care of their customers. And if you don't have a machine to heat up your food with, that's a problem. My loyalty will be staying with Jersey Mike's. read more

NO Appreciation Day Read Jimmy John's was suppose to have $1 sandwiches for appreciation day today. I went into the Jimmy John's in Homer Glen I asked about the $1 sandwiches for appreciation day and the boy behind the counter said oh they made a mistake and there will be no appreciation day today, but I can sell you a sandwich. I remarked to him was do you realize how many people will be coming in for this and his answer was yes. Gee Jimmy John get your act together, I personally will never step back into a Jimmy John's because of this. They could have used social media to correct there error before customers stopped in at the facilities. Really stupid move. read more

During the early months of the pandemic, there were workers in the Homer Glen, IL JJ's who did not cover their noses with their masks. That was bad enough, but now it is even worse! During my last visit, the worker who took my order wore her mask on her chin. Later she made sandwiches with the mask in the same position. Another worker was totally mask-less. The remaining two had their mouths covered but their noses were exposed. Not a single worker "got it right"! I've observed similar disregard for proper mask wearing at another JJ's. These are probably locally owned franchises, but isn't there a corporate person somewhere who can crack down on these violations? read more

The staff is beyond amazing. Their so friendly and nice. I always order the tuna sandwich, plain tuna sandwich because I don't like other stuff with it, and it always comes out good. One of the workers pointed something out on the menu that I never really looked at and told me that it would be cheaper for to get that. The food always comes out fast and is good. Keep it up guys!! If you want a fresh, quality sub and friendly service, give this Jimmy John's a try. The sandwiches are cold, the prices are reasonable, and the ambiance was designed to feel casual with a sense of humor. Expect to order a pre-designed sandwich rather than a completely custom sub. They do let you customize a sandwich, but the value is there when you order directly from the menu. On-line ordering is a breeze. The time lapsed between submitting an on-line order to delivery at my door is about twenty minutes. Some places tend to have communications problems between their on-line ordering system and the kitchen. This Jimmy John's does not have that problem. I don't know about catering from this location in particular, but I have catered events from other Jimmy John's in the past. My first and definitely last time I go to j j. I had the tuna sandwich for lunch today and It made me sick. Sandwich came back out not the way it's suppose to. I've ordered from this jimmy johns for over 5 years and the new staff is ruining the place. I'll start with this. So about 2 weeks ago I ordered some food online like I always do. Right after my order was confirmed and they took my money (I paid with credit card) they called and said that my order would be delayed about 15 minutes and I said ok. So 35 minutes passes and nothing, i call them and they say the drivers on the way! I said ok. 30 minutes later no food is at my house. I called again and yet again I get the same story that the driver is on the way. After I've been waiting for an hour and 45 minutes and still didn't receive my food I called a final time to cancel my order. The male manager at the time said he was very sorry and would give me a credit for the 2 sandwiches the next time I order and he would tell the driver to hurry. I said ok that sounds good. The driver gets to my house after 2 hours and I get my food. Fast forward to today 10/12/14 I call to get my credit and I guess the "new manager" had no idea that I had credit and gave me an extremely hard time. Remember I've been ordering from this jimmy johns for over 5 YEARS and she told me she couldn't find my records. I will NEVER buy from this jimmy johns again after this experience. read more
