I literally can't get enough of this place! I usually place an online order about once a week and have never had a single issue. The guy that typically delivers my mouth watering piece of heaven wrapped in paper could have a better sense of humor, but whatever. He probably doesn't have time to laugh at my lame jokes, because he's busy being freaky fast. When I ask them to cut it in half, they cut it in half. If they happen to forget, I walk to the kitchen and grab a utensil to help. You may have even used it before, it's called a knife. I've rarely dealt with any customer service issues, but I never have to call them because my order is always correct. What's not to love? I have only been to Jimmy John's once before a long time ago, and it just so happened I was near a Jimmy John's and needed to grab lunch, so decided to try it again. Jimmy John's is so over priced for what you get. They don't offer a "meal deal" where a sandwich comes with chips and a drink. You need to order and pay for everything separately. I ordered a Turkey Tom with cucumbers and cheese and was charged an additional .75 cents each for them. Instead I received no cucumbers, no cheese, and instead received peppers, which I never asked for. They offer no selection of veggies or different options for bread; your sandwich is made one way and is simple, tasteless, and not worth the money. I ordered the sandwich with chips, a cookie, and a drink and left paying over $12! The restaurant is loud, they get the order wrong, no customer service, and is not worth going to. Also, a co-worker of mine called one time to ask where they delivered to. They say they are "freaky fast." They deliver only within ONE mile of their location. Called this place to see if they do donations and the guy told me not in store and that I would need to call corporate to get approval. Called corporate and they told me to call back and ask again Bc donations are done via franchise. I called back and the manager told me that corporate told me the wrong info. So I asked if he could do catering instead and told me again to call corporate. Really ? Do not recommend this location. I asked for avocado on my #9 Italian on the phone and when I came to pick it up I said, "is this the #9 giant Italian with 3 kickin ranch and avocado" the manager asked if the worker put avocado on it and responded, "who wants avocado on an Italian, that's just weird". I was about to pay extra for avocado that was never put on my sandwich. Good thing I checked so that the manager could put it on for me since indeed I did pay for that and we all know how expensive avocado is these days. Will not be returning to this location. Woodinville jimmy johns never lets me down, they actually take pride in your sandwich. Avoid Kirkland at all costs. Been going back and haven't had any more issues. My husband and I tried JJ's for the first time a couple of weeks ago. He got a specialty sandwich and got it on wheat, which he thought would be a wheat roll type of thing, but was just two pieces of wheat bread. If that makes sense, LOL. I got the lettuce wrap, which was really cool. It was too much mayo for me, even though I toned it down a bit, but that is something you can fix in the future. Flavor was okay, nothing special. My husband was not really impressed, but the lettuce wraps hold my interest. I don't always want a big, bready sandwich. Clean restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. First and last time there tonight... I only went here because I got this place confused with Jersey Mike's, which is a much better chain. Why, when a customer asks for mustard, would you smother it in fucking Grey Poupon? If you're using that shit, list it clearly on the menu! Mustard = Yellow, and not full of horseradish. My husband couldn't even eat his, because all you tasted was horseradish in every bite. Disgusting! They are getting 3 stars because their delivery is quick and their bread is a little better than subways. And they have good customer service. They are only getting 3 stars because they only have provolone a very mild cheese that completely gets lost in the sandwich. Cheddar should be an option. because they skimp on the extras, and cuz they don't have regular pickles. You have to buy a big $2 pickle. Most of all, Their sandwiches are just OK. Although sandwiches are good, we've given up on them. Delivery orders are consistently missing items or has something wrong. The last time this happened I called and the gentleman on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me. Originally left a review for the wrong location, so I'm correcting it. When I ordered delivery awhile ago, the young man delivering left my meal at my neighbors' place around the corner; they weren't even home. Only discovered it because I saw him walking around the corner, then hustling back to his car. Guessed that it was my meal he was delivering and was able to retrieve it. One star is for my recent experience..When I choose to get Jimmy Johns it is because of: Quick delivery and Great sandwiches... However, today, I placed an online order for delivery as I usually do , with a comment "please leave it by the door".. I always ask the delivery driver to leave my order by the door (due to personal reasons). After 45 mins of waiting I contacted this store inquiring on my order.. a store employee answered the phone and when I asked about my order he passed the phone to the delivery driver. Than.. The delivery driver acknowledges the fact that he delivered my order to the wrong address... after which he proceeds to tell me that I SHOULD GO AND GET IT FROM THE PLACE WHERE HE LEFT IT.. BECAUSE (verbatim) "its not like its at a completely different apartment complex." First of all... I paid an extra fee for DELIVERY, second ... I tipped your ass.. Third .. there might be a REASON AS TO CUSTOMER ASKS to place the order by the door! If I am physically unable to go downstairs, how can you demand that I go get my order from the address that YOU delivered to by YOUR MISTAKE??!! Normally I love JJ's; however, I've been to this location 2x and both times they've forgotten to put ingredients that were supposed to be included on one or more of the sandwiches in each order (both times, hadn't realized until I was home, miles away). I could deal with the forgotten items, but the staff has been short, and somewhat rude. On the positive side, though, the sandwiches were fresh, which is why this location didn't get a '1 star'. Jimmy John's made things right by sending me a $10 gift card. Still have not used it but I am looking forward to it. I have never eaten at Jimmy Johns before and thought the $1 sandwich promotion would be a good time to try them out. I work pretty early hours but would get off by 2:30pm so I went after work. I was in a small line to get my $1 sandwich and a Jimmy John's employee comes out telling those of us in this line that they are running out of bread. But he would take our order on an order pad he had with him and if we brought it back the next day we would still get the $1 promotional sandwhich. I asked the employee of Jimmy John's how do I know they will honor the deal and he said that if I had that order form the promotion would be honored. So I thought I will give them a break since they are running out of bread and there are still quite a few of us in line. So I left with order form in hand knowing that I had the employees promise. My mistake, (not that it would have made a difference), was not getting the employees name. I would say there were about 10-12 of us who left with this promise. So I go to the same Jimmy John's which is near my work to get my $1 sandwich and lo' and behold...they will NOT honor the promise. You could tell by the expressions on the employees faces that I was not the first to show up with one of these order forms today. They said the employee did not have manager approval for that because he was not there at the time of the promotion. A four hour promotional that could bring in hundreds of customers and your manager is not there! Then the manager comes out and again says they will not honor the promise made by their employee and basically said that they lied to me. Now I may not have a lot of clout where I work but three are about 200 employees where I work which is just a short walk behind Jimmy John's but I can only say that if ever anyone asks me about Jimmy John's they will get this story. To start off, some blonde girl who's making the sandwiches was making them without a mask but pulled it up the second we walked in- which you know what, i get it. Wearing your mask and working all day is not ideal but we've been in the pandemic for over a year, you work in food service and you are making sandwiches for a delivery and are risking the people who ordered that deliveries health due to your negligence. Secondly, all of the girls glare at us when we come in- as if having customers come in is such an inconvenience for you (keep in mind we came in HOURS before they would even start closing). We aren't addressed at all and walk up their register systems and they ask in a very flat tone "what do you want". Again, customers aren't always king but still be nice if you want people to come back? I work a customer service job and understand if you're having a bad time with customers but the store is dead and you're being a bitch for no reason? Every single person in this store is rude, aggressive, and should not be employed with a company that is supposed to be super bubbly and kind. Get your shit together. It is only this location I have noticed this in, it has been every time I have had to stop here. I am really bummed because for the low prices and quality of ingredients- Jimmy john's is a pretty good place for me to grab a lunch before work but due to the woodinville store being closed this is the closest location to me. I too had a terrible experience on CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY. I didn't know this $1 Sandwich promotion was going on, so when I became hungry, and it approached my lunch hour, I decided I was going to order a MONSTER sandwich. I called the store a little before 10:30. The kid who answered the phone first said he wasn't sure if we were in the delivery area, however they had delivered to my workplace several times that week. That would be where I got the idea -- usually my lunch consists of a burrito out of a vending machine!!! Sooo I ordered a Club Lulu with double meat and extra bacon, with no tomatoes. Monster Sandwich!! I also ordered a pickle, cut in quarters. After tipping, I was about to spend about 15 bucks on this order. JJs has been pretty quick from my experience, so I assumed that they would be able to get there within the hour that I have for a break, and I'd be able to mow that thing down before clocking back in. 11:20 or so rolls around, I sat outside the building and awaited the sandwich's arrival.. hungry... salivating... and so I redialed the number that I had called to order the sandwich, and politely let them know that my lunch break was nearly over so they would have to give me a call when they arrived to deliver my food. He told me that I must have called the other store, because they had only placed 2 delivery orders that day. I was a little confused, but I hung up, checked to make sure that I hadn't called several jimmy johns, in case i was wrong.... No... So I dialed again, the number that I had dialed at 10:27 am, and spoke to a different employee. He said there was no record of my order and there was no way I could have ordered it from this store. I told him he was wrong, and he pretty much blew me off. A little bit later, I called back and spoke again to a different employee. I asked for a manager, and he put someone else on the phone. No one gave me names. He said he would call me back at 3pm after their promotion was over. I got off work at around 3:30 and called them again, since I had not heard from anyone and I was still hungry. At this point I spoke with someone who said he would send me a sandwich later. I also let him know that my bank account had actually been charged for the sandwich that I" didn't order." I told him I was on my way home and I would call and place the order later. Then I walked home. When I called back again I waited on hold for about 20 minutes to speak to the same person. I told him I would like to have my sandwich brought to me. I asked if he was going to give me any kind of discount or anything if I ordered an additional sandwich to be delivered. He then told me no, I'd need to pay for both of these sandwiches..... ? ..... ? .... . I got a little angry, and told him no, I was charged for one of them already... 6 hours ago. I'm definitely not paying for two sandwiches. I told him, I should be getting a free sandwich and probably a discounted second sandwich --- if not free! He also started to tell me that I was out of the delivery area (again, this jimmy johns had previously delivered to my apartment, as well -- it is the only one in this area that I've called)... There was about 10 minutes of silence after I shot this down really quick, It is not far away from here and hardly inconvenient. He then asked me what sandwiches i want, , and I ordered exactly the same thing- - a Club Lulu with double meat and extra bacon, with no tomatoes.. I also ordered the Gargantuan for my roommate who was due to arrive home from work a little later. I hung up the phone, never having been told any kind of total, nor had I given him a card number for anything. I got the sandwiches, they had a receipt on them, and they wanted me to pay cash. They also put tomatoes on the sandwich that was ordered with them being removed. I should have gone into the store and demanded 13 sandwiches for 1 dollar. This is hands down the worst place to order delivery from. They cannot get an order correct. I love Jimmy John's sandwiches, and I wish I could choose to have it delivered from a different location, but it doesn't give that option. On top of getting the wrong order every time, the guy who you have to talk to when you call to explain the problem is one of the rudest people I've ever spoken with. My orders have been incorrect so many times I emailed corporate at one point and my experience with corporate was great, but whoever the guy is who takes complaint calls normally is an asshole. And I've never been offered a refund and I've only been given a replacement order with the correct items when I've had to argue with him about it.
