I just drove 20 minutes from my house because this is the nearest location to me for the pregnancy sandwich for a late night pregnancy craving. I got here 10 minutes before they closed. It is currently 8:55as I'm writing this review and they are still open technically till 9 PM and they shut off the lights lock the door. I stood there tried to gently knock on the door and ring the doorbell and these two employees continue to walk by me and ignore me. In the food and beverage industry for over a decade and I have never locked my doors early because I wanted to go home if they lock their doors before closing time then they shouldn't say they're open until 9 PM. I had plenty of time to order one sandwich for myself before they closed and the least they could've done is just told me they closed early for the night instead of ignoring me and continuing to walk past me as I stand there, I will never come to this location again they will never get a good review for me again and I will deter everyone from getting the pregnancy sandwich here way to piss off of pregnant woman. I could literally cry right now. I'm so devastated that I drove all the way here for the sandwich. Whoever owns this location just know that they shut down early because even when I pulled up and parked, they already had their doors closed and locked so I'm assuming 15 to 20 minutes early they close the doors. Five stars because they always bring lots of condiments and napkins and AMAZING customer service and care The customer service is above and beyond. One time, I ordered lunch online, it was a very large order for 60 people and I entered the wrong date. I was panicked but I call the store they transfer me to a manger who tells me she will get me my order even though it's huge and I made the mistake. It's been a really long time since I've had a great sandwich. I was helped today by a very soft spoken and calm young man at the counter. I had ordered ahead and paid for two full sized #9 Italian night club sandwiches : salami, capocollo, ham and provolone with all the fixings. The pasta salad is a small 2 ounce container and was not too bad. I had to double check that the salad was included in the takeaway order, glad I did because it wasn't. Our server very quickly got the order together and I was out of there in less than ten minutes, because the lunch crowd had shown up ahead of me. I called this location last week to place a phone order for Mother's Day and spoke with Danika. She was very helpful throughout the conversation and was able to answer all my questions. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the entire staff and my catering order was all ready at 11am right when they opened. I even had a question about a reward that was voided and they took care of me with providing me a free sandwich for my first order through their rewards program. This is only the second time I have given a place 1 star and It took me a while. I have visited this location 4-times and gave it one last try and i disappointed again. They are very disorganized always seem to be understaffed or training someone. The turn over is high each time I have come in it's different people working. That's a bad sign of a place either people are over worked or it's not a good work environment. At any rate the wait is long most of the time order is wrong. I picked up sandwiches for a party, twenty to be exact that were then cut in half. The woman (who I believe is also an owner) seemed so angry and belligerent. She had absolutely zero customer service or interpersonal skills as evidenced by the way she interacted with her employees. The staff is great but they are overwhelmed-45-60 minute waits for walk in sandwiches. One person working on a Friday afternoon is ridiculous. Tables and Restrooms are dirty and the priorities are given to OLO before walk-ins. They need to throttle OLO's and staff up-which means paying more $ to your staff. I visited with the intention of ordering a simple sandwich combo. Unfortunately, I encountered an employee who appeared disengaged and unwelcoming. As it was my first visit, I was uncertain about how the combo options worked and sought assistance. However, I received only brief, one-word responses that did not clarify the information I needed. They weren't busy there was only one other person in the restaurant. It just seemed like he didn't want to be bothered with work at all. When my meal was ready, rather than handing it to me directly, the employee threw it on the counter. Fortunately, there was another employee there who picked it up and handed it to me. Once I got home I realized that the rude employee had made me the worst sandwich, everything was thrown in and there was barely any meat and topping. It might as well have been a plain sandwich. I do have to say that the sandwich I ordered did taste very well!! I quote the sandwich as "tasty" and had the different elements in it I liked. Plus, their chips were a treat to eat with my meat sandwich. I also added a drink and it made me not thirsty for my meal! With all that being said, they don't have as much diversity of sandwiches like Subway and their prices of them are far more expensive. Add to that, they are not as large the Subway ones. So with that being said, the taste and style are good but the price is a bit more than it should be!! So when you go to Jimmy John's, find what you want and how you want it regarding their menu. The customer service has gotten so bad!! Used to be very good in the beginning and now they they became popular, the "freaky fast delivery" turned into 55 minutes, versus the 5 or 10 minutes we were used to (We are about 1.5 miles away!). Delivery used to be free and now that you pay $5.50 for it you get to wait 5 times longer!!
