We stopped in for a quick sandwich on our way to another appointment. There wasn't anyone in the place when we walked in, but once they spotted our car out front, several people came in. I always have a hard time decifering the menu board to find exactly what I want, and end up asking the cashier if they have "Sandwich B". I ordered the #4 Turkey with the fixins. My husband got the slim Turkey without any fixins. These are 8" sandwiches, and it never fails, I have a hard time eating those last 2" of sandwich. You can order a 4" with limited selection, but that is just a bit small for me. 6" is perfect, but they don't offer that at Jimmy Johns. They didn't give us napkins with our order, and they are not placed out with the drinks or on the table, so I wandered around a bit before asking the cashier where the napkins are stored. Ah yes, they keep them behind the service counter so you will have to ask for them. The same was true for the drink lids and straws, they keep them on top of the drink dispenser so short people like me that never look up, would have a hard time finding them. I'm not sure if a child would be able to reach them at all in that location. read more

I ordered my sandwich at 8:00 PM and it said out for delivery at 8:10 but I did not get my sandwich until 8:42 and when I got it it was soggy and falling apart. When I let the manager Thomas know of my terrible experience he said it was my fault for having mayo on my sandwich and that is why it was soggy. Wow I will not be returning. read more

How is it that some people do not think before doing things. I ordered a sandwich and two drinks. I went to the door and the delivery guy was holding his beard on the top of my drink. I get that you are trying to make sure they don't fall but seriously, that is unsanitary!! I would have rather you made two trips then put your beard and face all over the top on my drink.... Sorry but stay away from here if you order online. They don't care about your order. I ordered my lunch, being a man I opened the door for a lady. They knew about my order that was already PAID for but serviced her instead leaving me angry. The little girl behind the counter was "thank you have a good day" I wish they'd put cashier names on as I'd blast her. I shop at Winco every 2 weeks, I get a sandwich every time. If I could choose zero stars for I would have. The restaurant and restrooms itself were very clean but after that it lacks in every way...My husband and I both have customer service backgrounds and I have a very sensitive palate NO TASTE! It was empty when we came in, we were not greeted, we advised the staff it was our first time there and asked for a recommendation and at that time the man at the counter pointed to the menu above. Now the CSR man the counter did not realize my husband can't see that far even with his reading glasses so I proceeded to read all the sandwiches out loud to my husband. When we did decide on what we wanted no one offers us any options on condiments. Again, our first time. I got a plain sandwich and had to go back up for a cup of oil/vinegar plus pepper. I love Jimmy John's which is why I am particularly disappointed in this location. One of the things that I like about Jimmy John's is how fast the sandwiches get made. For some reason this location is much slower than any other Jimmy John's I have been to. Last time I was there, I left the drive thru without ordering since I waited so long for the one car in front of me to talk to the person on the speaker and make their order. It is generally expected that you list the ingredients for your menu items in a way that your customers can readily find. Especially if your customer is a 6 year old first grader. My daughter is 6 and loves tuna. She is not, however, a fan of onions. She got a tuna slim sub today for lunch. What she did not know was that there was onions in that tuna. She was upset by this to the point of tears. So I petitioned the cashier for a turkey sandwich hoping that they would stand by the quality of their product. That was not to be. In stead of apologizing, I was told to look at the details of ANOTHER product to give me the clues of what, exactly, was in my daughter's Sunday afternoon meal. That was DEEPLY insulting and disrespectful. On top of that, I had to pay for another sandwich. So much for standing behind your product. This was my first... And last visit... This is one of my favorite locations! Super friendly staff, and full of smiles. I always go through the drive through because I tend to be in the go or have kids in the car. Honestly, I doubt anyone here gives a crap about customer service, it's like they all hate their jobs. Ask for napkins, get told to reach behind the counter to get them yourself. Don't get greeting, a thank you, or even a smile. Ask any questions and get dull, lifeless, blank- eyed stares back. I called once to see if I could get a delivery (I couldn't), and the guy who answered the phone acted like I was massively inconveniencing him, voice just dripping with attitude. I'm only giving them a 1 start because there isn't a lower option. I love Jimmy John's but this location is awful. First, walking into a location and getting glares is just not welcoming. Second, beach club with Dijon and no mayo, oregano and hot peppers is apparently a difficult order. My sandwich ended up having mayo and no mustard, no oregano, no tomatoes, no hot peppers, and I can't find any of the avocado spread that's supposed to be on the beach club. Had a sandwich here today, average at best. However, the reason I'm reviewing is because of a disturbing practice I saw. I watched one of the workers check ice bin. He proceeded to remove top, fill it up with a white bucket, bad part was turning white bucket upside down on floor, standing on it, then leveling ice off with bare hands. Worst still was going back for a second bucket and doing same thing. I guess he didn't get the contaminated bucket is a big deal in that people walk on that floor and dirt from bucket goes straight into ice bin. I will be reporting it to health department. read more

I've visited many JJ's and have never had a bad experience. (Ok, one time the one on Eagle forgot to cut my sandwich in half...). This was every bit as good as I have come to expect. That's why, when I'm on the road, I look for them when it's time to eat. Same great fresh bread (yum!), same quality ingredients, (I always add avacado tio the turkey/bacon), and same cheerful smiles. I've come to count on it, and was not disappointed at this location. Walked in on 10/182015 for lunch and was out of there in about five minutes! The counter help was cheerful, they enunciated when they spoke, the spoke up, and were very helpful in what was great! The sandwich makers were super fast, used fresh veggies, and very pleasant! The place was also clean and so was their restroom; a clean bathroom is very rare in Nampa. Usually i like jimmy johns even better then subway or blimpies but i jave discovered the flaw to those good sandwiches the gargantuan. Decided to try it for my birthday today and as i speak i just feel sick. Bread is far too small for all those meats and veggies. I literally only really had a bottom piece of bread. While i was expecting it to be big i expected it to be a sandwich as well not just a hunk of meat. Since there was a lack of bread for the top i initially just tried to eat two bites all the way across but that didn't work it was too much of a mouthful so all i got was the veggies. Which led me to the other problem the sandwich had how do i eat this sandwich and not get it all over me. The bite i took literally just forced me to get dressing mayonnaise and whatever other juices the meats had all over myself and that's not really an enjoyable experience. As well as the fact the sent 1 whole napkin and i conveniently ran out of my own. So i went on to method two which was harder but kind of worked. Shoving all the food in between the two pieces of bread with my hand. Also unenjoyable because i got the juices all over my hand but once i finally smashed them enough i could actually get a full bite of vegetables and meat. This still unfortunately still continued to cover me in juices. But i finished it nonetheless the flavor was not really great i guess what you would expect from so much meat combined with a smaller amount of vegetables and bread personally i would at least get larger bread for this as an improvement to mess, and flavor since i could barely taste yhe bread anymore. That was a shame because their bread has a good flavor. Overall all i will not be ordering this again but generally their sandwiches taste very good. And my girlfriends sandwich tasted great. I would also lessen the meat just a bit because it feels like acid sitting in my stomach now. Overall this review will be a two because her sandwich was good. I will try to leave another on a better sandwich next tome i go in. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The staff is not even close to friendly and most of the time gets the orders wrong. I had to have it delivered and it was not fast. When I received my order, things were missing and the sandwiches were not made right. I went back and asked for a new one, not really expecting it but it doesn't hurt to ask right? Wrong, they obliged but I received attitude the whole time. One girl, who was not in charge, was shaking her head no when I asked. She then was the one to make the sandwich. Meanwhile, I'm biting my tongue. When it was finished, I took it and said thank you and I appreciate it and she didn't even make eye contact. I was appalled. I've done customer service for years and that is no way to act at all, let alone in front of the customer! I'd rather have just received a no than to deal with the disrespect that girl gave. The two other boys in the building were not mean but they did not have a level of customer service they should have.
