I wanted a juicy burger and picked the right spot. Better than Red Robin any day!! I have a bacon cheeseburger with all the fixings with a large fries. Ok... it's a BAG of fries!!! Best part is they use potato's from Idaho growers (No farms,no food) Service was friendly and fast.

Extra fries at bottom of bag!

Went to five guys for lunch today with my daughter. Our first time there. She had a little cheeseburger and little fry with a chocolate shake. I had the bacon cheeseburger with regular fries and a soda. It was a bit pricey at 44 bucks but it was way too much food. They give you enough fries for 4 people! And the burgers were very big. Service was fast and food was good. Definitely worth going back, just going to order smaller

Greatest burger ever! Great location in the Nampa Treasure Valley Market Place. Great burgers, fries and milk shakes. Yum!

This location just opened in Nampa and everyone I know was pretty thrilled to see it. We had just gotten four inches of snow the night before but that did not stop the lunch rush from coming in! We were treated by everyone once entering and a very nice girl took our order! There was a great crew back cooking and a y0ung man named Aaron yelling put everyone orders and facilitating. Place ran very smooth and orderly. Dining room was very clean and bathrooms very clean. I ordered the cheesburger in a bowl (if you are GF or doing keto this is the way to go!) and my husband ordered a cheesburger with everything. What I love about Five Guys is that it has that local mom and pop taste! Everything is fresh. That really means something to me.

I am enjoying my delicious bag

Once here in Idaho, I wasn't as inclined to visit due to my fear that it wouldn't taste the same and the Idaho-shaming of visiting any location. However, I had an overwhelming desire for "animal style" well done fries and after a lot of begging, convinced my husband to come (this was not an easy task). We arrived around 4:30 pm and the dining room was roughly 1/2 full with a robust wrap in drive-thru. We were greeted by a friendly cashier who quickly took our order, then repeated it back perfectly. The kitchen was in a fervor, bustling to satisfy all the orders (really, a hard working team). We obtained our drink cups and the large, typical drink station was nicely stocked with a nice array of soft drinks to choose from. The odd thing to me is that whenever I've eaten at any other location in the past, I think the longest I've ever waited for my meal has been maybe 9 minutes, tops. No matter the time of day or night. We waited 23 minutes for our meals. It seemed that drive-thru is priority, then to-go, then dine-in. The animal style fries were pretty good, though I'm used to it being slathered with more sauce. Thankfully, I was able to get a few sauce packets and gleefully doused to my delight. However, the bun of my burger was so over toasted! The buns were actually hard and crunchy. I'm not used to that. The burger tasted like before but it was dry and overcooked as well. The lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese were very fresh and flavorful. My husband had the same experience with his burger as I did. Tables were not wiped down and the condiment station was out of almost everything when we got there. They didn't refill all the cups, chilis, etc. until right before we left. I really wanted to love my visit, but after this experience, and all the convincing to entice my husband there with this result, it's unlikely we will be back.

Within seconds, I received a text that my order had been received, but not confirmed, and to watch for a confirmation text. After 30 minutes, I still had not received a confirmation text, so I messaged asking for an approximate time. The reply stated they were "slammed" and that my order would be ready in about 30 minutes. After another 45 minutes, I still had not received any communication from them, so I decided to walk over to check on my order, hoping that it would be ready. The first thing I noticed was that there were not a lot of customers inside. I informed the server behind the bar that I was there to pick up my order, and she went back to check. When she returned, she told me that there were no pickup orders. I showed her the email with my order number and told her that I never received a confirmation from them. She went back into the kitchen, then came back and said they didn't have my order, but could make it while I waited - about 10 minutes. I reluctantly agreed and waited. When I got my order, I asked for a few extra cups of sauce. The server was put off, as if asked to perform an overwhelming task. Needless to say, I left the establishment with a less-than-favorable taste in my mouth. 24 hours later, I received a text from them that my order was confirmed and would be ready to be picked up. I texted back that this was 24 hours late and to cancel the order. The reply was that their texting service was unavailable, and to call for questions. I then replied to the confirmation email, hoping that would get through to them. No such luck. The reply I received said that delivery had failed - that their email box was full. I will say that the food was good, and that the server was mainly friendly. However, the whole online ordering system needs some serious revamping. I hope that Whiskey River will take this review as constructive criticism so that future customers will have an easier, smoother online ordering experience.

Can't wait to close. A similar situation happend on our prior visit and I feel like our visit today…read morewarranted some feedback. Our last two times we arrived in the evening and the time before tonight we were told they were out of most of the fry options. Given the time of day we overlooked it and moved on. This was one hour prior to closing and it was clear there was a heavy focus on cleaning up the restaurant to close. To the point that the hallway to the bathroom was wet as someone was mopping and there was no wet floor sign displayed and we could not access the bathrooms without walking through a very wet floor. This prior visit we ate on the roof and didn't have to eat around cleaning activities. Tonight we arrived at 7:40pm thinking an hour and 20 minutes before closing would be plenty of time to not interfere with closing duties. Immediately upon walking up to the counter, the cashier started taking down many of the fry options on the menu. Once again they were out of the specialty fry options BFC is supposed to be known for. All four of us made our order decisions and began discussing amongst ourselves where we should sit. My mother-in-law motioned toward the middle of the dining room which was completely open. The cashier quickly corrected our decision and asked that we sit in the corner under the stairs near the 12th avenue door so she could begin cleaning the middle of the dining room. This was a bit off putting as we were one hour and 15 minutes away from closing time at this point and we weren't allowed to make a seat selection in a wide open dining room. My parents in law had just arrived from out of state to visit us and we were trying to take them to a unique to Idaho dining experience. We felt like a burden at this point and again it was clear the only concern from the restaurant was closing down the restaurant. To cap off our experience, the entire time we were eating, this same cashier was rigorously cleaning the dining room around us first dry sweeping, then wet mopping and moving the tables and chairs around. I understand that closing business duties have to be performed, but seriously tearing up the dining room an hour before closing and dry sweeping around patrons trying to eat food? Every business has one off experiences that are not up to par for some guests. But when it seems to be a pattern, something should be done to change perception from the the customer. As for the food...the fry oil being used needed changed and overall this location has slipped significantly in its quality both in service and with the food that once made BFC a must do.

I've read a lot of reviews on Yelp and I can't say that I've ever experienced poor or rude service, but there have been several inconsistencies from receiving overcooked burgers, undercooked fries or having to wipe down our table to eat. That said, these issues happen, sometimes more often than others, but not enough times to ward off future visits. There was a small line to order when we arrived, so we ordered through the kiosk without issue. This actually prompted others to order through the kiosk as well. After ordering, we walked up to the register to get our drink cups and were quickly greeted by a smiling, lovely employee who promptly gave me our cups. I ordered the new Parmesan chicken club, which unfortunately does not come in a combo...so I ordered the 50/50 (fries and onion rings) and my husband had the charburger with cheese combo. Our food came out quickly and looked stunning! The cheese was melted around the grilled chicken, the bacon was crispy, ingredients were fresh and the bread was toasted to perfection. My only disappointment is that the 50/50 is almost $5 as a side....and I felt like there wasn't enough fries and only 4 small onion rings. Fries were mostly undercooked as well. However, the sandwich was absolutely delicious. My husband's charburger tasted great, but was a tad disappointed as the burger patty was much thinner than other visits. It was almost $34 for lunch and we almost feel like we didn't get our money's worth.
